My co worker and I went there for lunch. My sandwich did not have enough meat or cheese. I was really disappointed. I might not be back.

This 5 star rating is for the employee, Mochini(I believe it was this– could be a little off)… While waiting for the Warriors parade to start, the line was out the door at Subway but it continued to grow as parade goers were growing hungry. I stood in line for over 2 hours as there was only one employee, Mochini, working. Imagine the stress and frustration she was experiencing making sandwich after sandwich while having to maintain the bread, toppings and ring this sea of customers for hours on end… Well, the whole time she kept a smile on her face and a pleasant and positive attitude even with people becoming frustrated because of their wait. Would come back just to see and thank Mochini!

This is my neighborhood Subway, and I go here maybe every other week or two. I pretty much only come on a weeknight after 5pm, so maybe my experience has been different than others. The place is always clean. I never see anything more than the usual transients in the area(not inside), and they are usually friendly and very harmless. I feel completely safe bringing my 7 y/o daughter here. As far as the food… it is Subway. I get what I ask for and it tastes the same as any other Subway I have ever been to. My only complaint is that I like cucumbers, and the lady behind the counter is NEVER amused when I ask for a few extra. I mean, damn… 3 thin slices of cucumber is hardly enough. As far as the service… well, aside from being stingy about their cucumbers, they are just fine. Granted, smiles and a bit of peppy-ness are pretty rare from the employees here, but I don’t come to Subway for that. My sandwich and a few extra cucumbers are just fine.

How hard is it to make a sandwich. Seriously. All you have to do is put the meat on and whatever toppings and condiments the customer asks for and wrap it well enough so it doesnt fall to pieces when you open it. But I suppose its too much to ask for. It was like a baby played with my sandwich before I got to it, completely messy and all over the place. To top it all off I was given burnt cookies. Come on. Not worth the money spent. There are plenty of other places to eat with better quality food anyway,

I came to this Subway in Oakland yesterday near the BART station and ordered an «Chicken smokehouse BBQ on a 6» sub. The place looked like a crime scene no one there but a small hispanic woman running the place and outside a group of aggressive panhandlers walks in and out like revolting door asking 4 $ 2.00WTF man this is a place of business but this is Oakland anyhow my sandwich looked hurt the bread was a Sourdough and it look like it but shot by a group of people on International Blvd. I mean Damn !!! And the person who throw it together did it fast and quick I had the impression I was going to rob her. Why would I rob her I was four or five block away from the Police Station ahhh no don’t think so. I would do it in Frisco away from Police Stations. Even though the place was very clean to enjoy my sandwich.

Great lunch place. Service is quick since there’s usually at least three workers behind the counter making sandwiches and handling the register. The workers are usually really nice and friendly.

Okay. I’m done with this Subway. It’s dirty and more often than not, full of bums. But worse than that, the staff are the RUDEST. I’ve been going in there at least once a week for two years now, and one woman always gets annoyed if I pay for my $ 2.99 sandwich in quarters. Then, when she rang a sandwich up wrong, and charged sales tax on it(It wasn’t heated), I was short 25 cents – because I’d brought $ 3 in quarters. She threw the sandwich away! That’s it, no more being nice. The place is gross and the employees hate having to work there – and it shows.

Average, run of the mill Subway. Definitely less sketchy than the one on Broadway a couple blocks away.

I’m in this area every now and then and it can go from quiet to insane in the blink of an eye. Besides the oven roasted chicken breast, I used to come to flirt with a girl who worked here. One day I rolled up and she was outside of the resteraunt scared because some crack head was in there arguing with HIMSELF! I walked in, she followed, and sure nuff the skitzo was in full effect. He was also rolling up a fattie right there on the table. This guy precedes to look me up and down, get out of his seat, and tell me I was a beautiful man. I’m like WTF??? I told him he had to go, escorted him out the door, and introduced him to the awaiting concrete. Memories… I lost contact with her. Damn, I miss her sexy accent.

It’s subway… so it’s not getting anything more than 3 stars, that’s just, well that’s just because. Anyways — for under $ 5, you can get the kid’s fit pack — a sandwhich, milk, and apples. Now here’s the real question… why don’t they have a fit pack for adults? So we stuff a 12″ BLT on honey wheat down the obese lady’s throat but tell her to get the 6″ sub with healthy sides for her kid? Just think it’s a bit strange that it’s marketed only to kids — not to worry though, you’re allowed to order it for yourself too. This location seems 100 times cleaner than the one on Broadway and it’s too convenient to pass up.
