Shanice is a praise dancer/​choreographer that provides praise dance instruction classes for private; groups; and drop ins every other Saturday of the month for only $ 15 (or during the week by appointment). She also accepts invitations to minister at events of her own customized choreography.

Praise Dance is the active movement of the body to stimulate the mind, and rejuvenate the soul. Shanice’s classes strive to provide a positive atmosphere and help students release any worries and fears in a healthy way. Get physically fit, mentally focused, and spiritually connected!

History

Established in 2015.

Shanice Whittaker has been dancing (competatively and as an extra curricular) since she was 3 years old. She received her calling to utilize her gift to worship at the age of 13 and began receiving instruction under the Praise Dance Ministry at Greater Cooper AME Zion in Oakland. By the age of 22 she was appointed the director of this praise dance ministry for 5 years; teaching young women ages 3 — 18.

Now, she is responding to her calling to continue sharing this ministry with you. If you are in need of a praise dance workshop instructor at your next event, a dance selection to be ministered at your next worship experience, or just a bit of choreography to assist in your artistic vision… Shanice is ready to serve.
