Yvonne and her team did an amazing job on our kitchen remodel. They worked quickly and efficiently. We went from demolition to completion in less than 6 weeks. The kitchen is gorgeous and could not be happier with the end results. Yvonne communicated via text every day or every other day. Her team is super sweet and lovely to have around. Recommend that you have everything you need in place before you begin project so that she can work as efficiently as possible. We would not hesitate to hire her again.

I’ve called 3 times and no one has called me back. Good customer service is at least caking back to say you’re not taking any new clients at this time.

Yvonne is a game changer. She and her crew recently did some work in my laundry room to make it a functional, useable space. They removed my old monster of a water heater and installed a pretty little tankless water heater. They did some rewiring so I could install a new stackable washer/​dryer. I’m no longer embarrassed of my little laundry room and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Most importantly, Yvonne is an honest, reliable and open-​minded businesswoman. She cares about the job and wants you to be happy. That is invaluable.

Yvonne is GREAT! I had a complete kitchen remodel and new floors put in my condo/​loft. I contracted with a kitchen remodel shop because I liked their product line. However, the designer made some mistakes that cost me a lot of time, money and headache. Yvonne kept me from losing my mind! She was on top of everything, kept the scheduling in place, was timely and always encouraging. She also has a great group of people who work with and for her. Yvonne and her crew designed and built a deck with a trellis onto the back of our house in Berkeley. We enjoyed working with her so much we had her renovate our kitchen right afterwards. Yvonne saved me from having to hire a separate designer because she held my hand through each step of the design and purchase process, through many (foreseeable) changes and some (unforeseeable) delays. And she has great taste! The project came in on time and on budget. A year ago, we drove by a beautiful fence that had been built on our street. We asked the owners, who directed us to Yvonne at She Custom Building. They just built a beautiful fence for our front yard. Yvonne has a great design sense, was straightforward in communicating about price, costs, etc, and a delight to work with. She was patient as we deliberated and changed our minds about the design. Her team was efficient, effective and very pleasant. Our neighbors have praised both the beauty of the fence and the speed with which the work was done. We are delighted.

We recently worked with Yvonne to remodel our kitchen. We had bought an old bungalow whose previous owner had done most of the repairs himself, and it showed in the quality of the work. The kitchen we inherited had moldy counters, a leaking sink, and a generally rough, unpolished look. Yvonne was recommended to us by our real estate agent, and we’re certainly glad he did! She was responsive, listened to our concerns (particularly around budget) and gave us useful recommendations for visioning what our kitchen would eventually turn into. Her crew was very professional and respectful, and we felt at ease having them around.
We absolutely love what our kitchen has been transformed into, and we especially appreciate how Yvonne made us feel involved and listened to our feedback and additional requests throughout the project. We will definitely be turning to SHE Custom for future work on our home (and there’s lots to be done still).

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Yvonne and her team on a couple of projects in my Craftsman home. She rebuilt a back fence and dog run in my yard that I receive compliments on weekly. She installed cabinets in my lower unit and repaired my deteriorating front steps. Yvonne Kettle and her team helped me renovate my retail store on Grand ave. She works fast and efficient. We got through inspections and permits with no delays and her work is excellent. She deliver high quality and have a keen eye for aesthetics. She did our amazing wood floors, that get compliments daily from our customers.
