Currently we do not have any staff that specializes in custom fine pruning, but with ample notice we can provide this service.

Business Owner
Gary’s roots among trees began around five w/his father & uncle having worked for the United States Forestry Service along the timber dense Canada border. Having moved to Northern California in the late 1990’s Gary held a career in the tech sector of Silicon Valley. A natural instinct to trace his roots began his career in the tree industry, as a ground man, climber, & than foreman. Notably he held the role of Chief Operations Officer for the oldest tree service in Northern California with one of the states most prominent arborists. Gary has worked as an independent contractor for several Bay Area Arborists and Tree Services.
Gary has a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University, & Associates in Liberal Arts from Berkeley City College. He is also a member of the International Society of Arboriculture. Academic interests include preparing for the I.S.A Certified Arborists exam, Urban Forestry, tree biology, structural pathology, & carbon sequestration.
