A background in broadcasting and communication helped my develop the qualities and skills needed for my successful career in real estate. In broadcast news, I worked at the ABC-​News affiliate in Washington, DC. and later as an Associate Producer for the top CBS news program, «60 Minutes.»

I continue to successfully help my clients buy and sell homes in the East Bay. I shopped around for a realtor for some time. My mortgage broker encouraged me to contact her, and I am so glad that I did. After interviewing 4 and being contacted by 6 – 7, she stood out as someone who was extremely knowledgeable of the various areas I was considering. Although I had been watching the market in Oakland for the past 6 years, when I needed a wise and insightful realtor, Rosie exceeded my expectations. The listing agent and seller that we dealt with far from cooperative. However, Rosie made up the difference, and I was confident whether the deal went through or not that she would leave no stone unturned. From the very beginner she was honest and direct, and I felt that complimented my shortcomings. Although there was no way that I would imagine owning a second property without a great income, we made it possible. I will definitely refer family and friends to her. Moreover, if I ever sell or find myself able to buy another property she will be the only one I will call.

Rosie came highly recommended by our financial planners. When my husband met her, he was sold. Then I got to meet her and felt the same way.
Fast forward to prepping our house for sale. She had incredibly good advice for what was worth investing in and what was not. Rosie has very helpful contacts for prepping the house but the stager she selected sealed the deal.
Then, when we were ready to list, Rosie showed her intuitive expertise in understanding the marketplace. She did not promise a thing but set us up for success. The 3D virtual tour technology she used was fabulous too. Then we waited to see what the market would bear. We were very fortunate to recover our investment in prepping our house and then quite a bit more.
If you are looking for a realtor, RUN, don’t walk, to Rosie.

Rosie was an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped us find our first home in the East Bay in March 2015 and we couldn’t be happier.
We met Rosie at one of her open houses and she was extremely insightful and helpful. After countless open houses and short conversations with other realtors, we knew from the first meeting that Rosie was the perfect realtor for us. She is very knowledgeable about the East Bay market, and different neighborhoods, and has great relationships with other realtors. Rosie is very responsive via email, phone, and text and accommodated our schedules for any showings we requested. She provided us with guidance throughout the whole process and kept us at ease the whole time. Very helpful in showing us the pros and cons of a house and pointing certain things out that we weren’t even thinking of, and very helpful when reading through lengthy disclosure packets.
We made strong offers on 5 houses in this crazy market. All 5 houses, including the one we eventually purchased, had multiple offers (most over 10 offers). What impressed us most when it came down to making an offer was Rosie’s personal touch when presenting our offer — always in person (when that was an option) and able to tell our story to the sellers because she knew us so well. In the end, this is what helped us get the house… not the highest offer.

Rosie helped us buy our home in Alameda. My husband and I are both lawyers so we have a discriminating eye for detail and responsiveness, yet I was super impressed with both qualities with Rosie! I could not have asked for a more hard working and experienced agent.
Rosie always answered my phone calls, always responded to my emails, and always accommodated us to go see houses on short notice. She gave us insights on the pros and cons of a house, what can easily be fixed and what to watch out for. She also had extensive knowledge about the neighborhoods we were interested in and pointed us to only the areas that we wanted to see. She answered all of my questions earnestly and guided us through the brutally competitive Bay Area real estate market.
During the entire time we looked for our house, I never felt any pressure to go out of my comfort zone in terms of budget, neighborhood or type of house I had in mind. She carried us through a smooth and quick closing and we are happily sitting in our new home now. Cannot thank Rosie enough!

Rosie was amazing to work with. I’ve been an escrow officer for 30 years and know what a good real estate is supposed to do, and both my husband and myself were very impressed with Rosie. We live out of town and she communicated with us on a regular basis letting us know what listings were available and her opinion of each listing, so we would know when to drive from Los Angeles to Oakland to see a condominium. When we made an offer she guided us through it regarding price, contingencies and closing date. There were a few offers, and our offer was accepted. We were able to close escrow in 8 days. She is also holding our keys for us until we return to Oakland, so her service is extending beyond the close of escrow.

Rosie helped us buy our first home in the Bay Area. Coming from MN the market is a lot different, and Rosie was very savvy about the whole East Bay market.
We closed on our house in Richmond Heights and it was 100% due to Rosie’s responsiveness and tenacity. Rosie reacted quickly to make the deal happen.

The time had come for us to sell our 1889 Victorian, and we were filled with anxiety. Then Rosie arrived, and like Mary Poppins, everything started to flow smoothly.
I’m not going to pretend that selling the house was an easy endeavor, but Rosie kept us moving forward. She was very clear on the process and communicated in a way that was calming and honest. I immediately felt at ease and trusted her. This is no small thing. I’m a disabled veteran with PTSD, and yet, my anxiety level was fine. Somehow I just knew that she was taking good care of us. I never once doubted her.
Her advice was invaluable and we tried to follow it to a tee. Needless to say, selling our house was smooth sailing. Her recommendations for stagers, photographers, pest inspector, and the various other agents involved were great. I felt very safe with them in my home, and they all performed well. The house looked beautiful.
We did two open houses, took offers, and accepted one. Again, Rosie’s expertise on the offers was spot on. We had such a short closing, that before I knew it, the house was sold and the money was in the bank. There was not one issue. I wish I could give Rosie a million red stars. She is truly exceptional. So much so that I will always call on her in the future for all of my real estate needs, as well as recommend her to my friends.

We couldn’t have been any more thrilled with Rosie’s work selling our house. Saying she over-​delivered is an understatement.
From our first interaction with her, she was professional, helpful, thoughtful and extremely sharp. We spoke to a few other agents, but knew she would do the best job.
Throughout the selling process, she was readily available whenever we had questions, she was hands-​on with helping get the house ready (even potting plants and touching up walls), and she ensured that any bumps along the way were minimized for us. Selling a home can be stressful, but Rosie made it more seamless than we could have hoped for.
In the end, and most importantly, she truly delivered stellar results. Everything she does is of the highest quality. Even the buyers commented that she was by far the most friendly, knowledgeable and likable agent that they had come across in their search for a home.

It is rare that I give 5 stars to anything because nothing is perfect, except the sale of our home. Rosie made an initial presentation to us which included recent comps and the anticipated escrow payout based on our mortgage and our listing price. Rosie assured us that the lower listing price was consistent with the recent listings and sales but that a bidding up process would begin to achieve our real selling price. She was absolutely correct. We received four offers, all over the asking price with the accepted offer 5% higher than our asking price. The process went exactly as she said it would. If you want to sell your home, list it with Rosie. He had a reasonably priced termite man, stager, window washer, and professional photographer. She directed the paint color and gardening requirements. It was really special. Our house sold in one week after the MLS listing, one open house and one brokers’ tour.

Rosie is just amazing. Over the course of our 7 month search for our new home, Rosie worked tirelessly for us, meeting us whenever and wherever there was a lead on a home. We really can’t say enough good things about Rosie. She stuck by our side throughout the whole roller coaster of our house hunt and trust me when I say it was anything but typical. We discovered her through Unilocal after reading all the great reviews so I called her up on a Friday afternoon and she showed us a house the next morning. Though our main focus was Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek, she never batted an eye about coming out there. She continued to meet us out there nearly every weekend for the next year and a half as we narrowed down our prime area/​criteria and made several unsuccessful offers. Our terms weren’t strong and we were getting discouraged. But then, Rosie came through! A short sale, which we ultimately backed out of after getting another offer accepted on something even better! Then, we got the devastating news that I was being laid off so we fell out of escrow. But as soon as we were back on our feet, Rosie came through for us again. She even went as far as to write a letter to the sellers on our behalf, and FINALLY we are in our first home! Thanks to Rosie. Couldn’t be happier.

Rosie is a one stop shop. She sold my home in Montclair. During the last 3 years, she was my relator, my project manager (w/​3 contractors), negotiator, helping hand with rental clients, market advise, you name it. She is a super agent.

This review for Rosie is long overdue. She is the best realtor in the East Bay — willing to go above and WAY beyond for her clients.
My husband and I were searching for a house in Berkeley/​Oakland for about a year, before we had to move to the Peninsula for work. We never ended up getting a house in the East Bay because a job opportunity came up in the South Bay, but Rosie was our realtor the entire time and we were so lucky to have her. We were extremely picky when it came to finding a house, but Rosie stuck with us the entire time, never showing any frustration with our indecisiveness. She was ALWAYS available when we called on her to show us a house or give us her insights into a house or potential problem with a house. She is easily the most knowledgeable realtor out of all the ones we spoke to, so if you want a realtor who will be there for you whenever you need her and is an expert on homes and any issues that may come with them, call on Rosie. She will tell you the truth and not sugar coat it to get you to buy a house, which is what you want when putting all that money into a big investment! She will tell you everything you need to know about that home to help you make an informed decision.
Beyond her wealth of knowledge about homes, she will aggressively negotiate for you. We put offers in on a couple of houses, and she got us far through the process, but in the end, other people were willing to offer more money than we were, so it wasn’t meant to be.
We are now renting on the Peninsula, but if we ever look to buy a house again, we hope we’ll be looking in Rosie’s area so she can be a realtor again. I don’t know how we could go with anyone else now after she’s set the bar so high.

Not only did Rosie hold my hand when I was shopping for my first home, she also carried me through the selling process when I decided to move away from the area. While shopping, I changed my mind multiple times of the type of houses I wanted. Rosie was very patient and she never pushed me to offer on something I wasn’t sure of. When I was sure, she offered honest advice on what I needed to secure the deal. I was so happy the first time around that I knew I had to go back to her to sell the house.
Because I would be in a different city while the house was on market, I needed someone who is trustworthy and responsive. Rosie was exactly that. Whenever I needed a status update she would always respond timely. She held open houses for my tiny property multiple times just to make sure that my property maintained visibility.
When we dealt with a difficult agent Rosie treated the deal as if it was her own house. She expressed her concerns timely to help me getting into potential traps. I was so glad that she was there! Without her experience and genuineness I wouldn’t know what I would do.
Although Rosie deals all sorts of million dollar deals, she never made me fell inferior or less of a priority given that my property was not an expensive one. Rosie is a true professional and simply a wonderful person. I would recommend her to all my friends and fellow Unilocalers over and over and over again!

If I had 500 stars, I’d give them all to Rosie the Realtor. An acquaintance recommended her after we fired our dud realtor, and we were wary. Could she work around our limited schedule and deal with ever-​present, ever-​loud twins in the background? Could she really find us a liveable house in our price range, in a good neighborhood, with good schools?
Thanks to Rosie, I’m now a homeowner. I never thought it could happen! And Rosie was there every step of the way, with a smile and an efficient can-​do attitude. Even in our bargain basement price range, she treated us like we were million dollar clients. She saved us from a number of pitfalls, helped us where others failed, and never ever wavered in her communication. With her blackberry, she was practically available 24×7!
Rosie exceeded every expectation I had, delighted me in areas I didn’t think to have expectations, and was a bulldog when she needed to be, badgering sluggish paper-​pushers to make sure we closed as quickly as possible.
