I am a certified agent with Covered California. I assist people with the process of filling out their application and support them with information on how to select the best plan for their needs. As an independent agent I can offer quotes from multiple companies both on and off the Health Care Exchange. I also offer Vision, Dental and Medicare supplements.

The laws governing health insurance are extensive and complex. The Covered California Exchange can be a challenge. Even when applications are correct the computer does not always calculate correctly. I can support and guide you in the process. There is no cost for my services. The companies pay me and there is no increase to the cost of your policies.

Working with an agent gives you a person who knows you and your needs. I offer service, consistency and access to help when you need it. If you are calling a call center you will never speak with the same person twice! A licensed agent is required to not only pass a state exam but be current on continuing education on the subjects they offer. Being a Certified Covered California agent requires additional training to qualify to sell on the Exchange.

History

Established in 2013.

I believe in access to health insurance for all people. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Obama Care) has changed the health care landscape forever and now more people than every have access to health care.

I have spent the last three years studying the new law. It gives me a great sense of satisfaction to be able to help people in the process of obtaining health insurance.

Affordable Care (Obama Care) has changed most of the rules and created an entirely new system. It has not been without its issues but any venture of this size and with the amount of changes introduced can expect to have issues.

I am pleased to be a part of this process. It is very rewarding to be able to help people gain access to health care.

I grew up on the East Coast but have been a California resident for over 30 years.

My values are based on a belief in service to individuals and community. I believe the more people you serve the more you prosper.
