Outstanding service and quality. They put my 1965 Mustang back on the road for a fraction of what any other shop would have charged. It takes a while to get an appointment (they are that popular!), but they give you their best. Good, solid work at reasonable prices. They stick to their estimates and stand behind their warranty. I would give these guys six stars if I could. Your pony car will be in excellent hands with Mostly Mustangs. I will allow no one else to touch my car.

I’ve taken my Mustang here multiple times and have always left happy. They do excellent work and keep me updated on progress. Jacks shop is the type of place where you can leave your car comfortably and always end up with a job well done. I’d give 10 stars if I could…

I took my 2005 Mustang over to Mostly Mustangs and the service was phenomenal.
They will drive you to the bart when you drop off your car and pick you up when your car is ready, which was very convenient. I took my car in for a battery replacement and they checked & fixed my tire pressure and lights in addition to replacing my battery.
The staff there is very nice and friendly and really care about your car. Not to mention the service is quick! I brought my car in this morning and it was ready by the time I was done at work the same day. Overall, I am very satisfied, and will come here again if my Mustang needs some more TLC.
Lastly, you should call and make an appointment first, they do fill up quickly.

The best shop for your old or new mustang! I have had 4 mustangs and they all only go to Mostly Mustang for any& everything.

After making the rounds of several other mustang «specialists» and having pretty mediocre experiences, I was directed to Mostly Mustangs by a dear friend of mine Mr. Blue.
Simply Put: It doesn’t get any better than this.
If you want excellent repair for your mustang then go see Jack and Sir Richie and your pony will end up purring.
Every time I chirp second in my 73 Mach I I say a thankful prayer to Mostly Mustang.
In addition to their great work, they also set me up with help body and interior referrals to help me complete the restoration of this car to it’s former glory.

I used to go see Jack when I was a brat in the late ‘80s, with my beat up blue ’69 fastback. I knew damn well how to replace my own cap, rotor and spark plugs but these guys would make the car start up & run *sweet*, with a busted choke. The service is impeccable, this is the kind of place that makes you want to buy a Mustang just so you can go there.

As others have said, if you own a Mustang, this is the ONLY place you should take it. Stop looking for anyplace else.
I own a 2001 Mustang convertible and have taken it to 2 Ford dealers and another shop (good — but not well versed in mustangs) over the years. What a waste!
Jack is SUPER nice, SUPER accommodating (I had to reschedule twice!), SUPER honest, and pretty gosh darn cheap. It’s a shop that’s he’s owned forever and is super old school which is so nice.

Just posting a bit of an update — I haven’t taken my mustang back to Jack’s place in a while, as they appeared to have a bit of a space/​availability issue that ended up causing a number of delays in getting my daily driver back on the road. The quality of work done by this shop is great, but you may need to follow up with them multiple times to see things through to completion.

Great Customer Service, Reasonable prices, talk layman’s terms and they dont recommend stuff you dont need. Everything you need from a mechanic.
Only recommendation is make an appt and get their early. They fill up quick. I got there at 10am and they already had 9 cars ahead of me. Either way my car was still completed the same day.

Jack is the consummate professional! He has worked everything from oil leaks to engine replacement for me and he is always Honest fair and through! just quality shop!

TL;DR: Hands down one of the best shop for Mustangs and more! Very knowledgeable; if I need an honest and fair appraisal of any issue with my car, I take my car to Jack.
I’ve taken my car in a couple times here for major engine work (replace headers/​manifold, clutch, etc.), they always do fantastic work for a great price, and get it turned around in a hurry.
I can’t speak highly enough of everyone in the shop. Funny, Friendly, and knowledgeable, they’ll explain things to you simply without being condescending. When ever I’ve gotten a quote that seems dubious or I have a problem I can’t fix/​figure out on my own, then I ask them.
If you have a Mustang, new or old, (or any other car for that matter) you can trust it to Jack and the guys at Mostly Mustangs.

It’s rare to find a mechanic shop with honest, kind, and experienced mechanics. Jack, the owner, is totally reliable. This one is a keeper! Highly recommended if you have a Mustang, but they work on a lot of other things too.

I’d been taking my newer (2006) Mustang to the Ford dealer in Albany for service, repairs, etc… I know, I know… should have long ago left them. I started searching for a new place for the car and came upon Mostly Mustangs. This place is highly recommended. Dealt with Jack who provided great service and good, understandable explanations. Cost was very reasonable. Dealer would have charged us double the price.

The most intelligent, competent Auto Repair, Restoration establishment
for Mustang, Ford and actually some exotic non Fords as well.
Jack, the master and ringmaster of this shop keeps a well equipped, state of the art and old school line of equipment to work on most any thing you can throw at these guys. They are the experts, well informed, and don’t condescend to you. They do outstanding brake work, engine — tranny swaps, suspension upgrades, engine modifications, and restoration.
Jack is one of the best tuners in the states, from carbs to injection.
They have worked on 5 of my collector cars over 15 years, and each experience there, is as valuable as the extraordinary workmanship
they place in your vehicle; also Rich is one kick ass brake god, no one is better, period!
Concourse quality cars, race cars, daily drivers and rat rod ‘stangs seem to be at home there; I once even saw an awesome fully customized AMC Pacer pickup truck there!
They have an ethical quality about them, and don’t advise anything to your car that’s not needed.
These guys are simply the best (anywhere), and are so reasonable, you’d be embarrassed not to tip them, even for just being there for over thirty years and providing a facility that deserves far more than 5 stars.

This place is great. A lot of garages and dealership could take a lesson from Jack and the Crew on customer service. It says Mostly Mustang and they do just that Mostly, so when they welcomed my Ford F150 (may she serve someone else as she had me for over two turns of the odometer), I had no problem taking my Ranger to them. Never hurt me bad in the pocket and when it did hurt (because I’m tight and don’t trust mechanics), I can imagine what the big guys would have done to me.
When I get my fast back (my dream car), I know exactly where to take it, but for now my pick up is their’s. I wonder does Jack have a relative that works on GM products with the same kind of service, I will have to ask him, headed there this week for brakes, I think

Best Experience I’ve Ever had at a shop, EVER! These guys are great, friendly and they really know there stuff, they are competitively priced, and have often charged me less then the original quote. I trust them with my baby (1971 mustang) and I never get «that I just got screwed by a bunch of money grubbing grease monkeys» feeling, which, is awesome. I love them, my pony loves them! I highly recommend them to anyone with a classic car.

This place is really good. Thanks Unilocal.After reading the reviews I decided to take my 1965 mustang to them. The car had been siting up for 3 years. I just knew it was going to cost me an arm and a leg. They got me up and running and my car in running as good as ever. The best part is it only cost me a few hundred bucks.

The best repair shop out there, period. My mustang died and at first I towed it to a dealer because it was close. The dealer’s quote was through the roof, moved the car over to Mostly Mustangs because of their good Unilocal reviews and now I see why they got the good reviews. Great quality service, affordable, and a super trustworthy crew.
Not much else to say really, these guys are just fantastic!

Jack and his crew took my wife’s 1970 Mustang coupe (she is the original owner!!) and turned it into a car worthy of an article (not just a photo) in Mustang and Fords magazine. He and his crew are great. We are so lucky to have found this place!
