Mobius Computers is a state certified (Cal​Re​cycl​.com) elextronic waste collection facility located in the Bay Area. By working with responsible partners, we ensure all e-​waste is recycled locally. E-​waste is never shipped overseas!

We also provide secure data destruction services. To ensure your data is wiped or magnetically and physically destroyed, we service is performed onsite and then locally shredded.

History

Established in 2003.

Mobius Computers is a family owned and operated electronic waste (e-​waste) recycling collection facility.

Established as a computer refurbishing company, Mobius Computers was interested in the ultimate way to recycle computers. Refurbish and repurposing.

As technology changed, we too changed by providing the need for managing responsible e-​waste recycling services and secure data destruction within our community.

We work with local downstream partners to maintain all recycling is processed locally and within the guidelines of the State of California CalRecycle Program. The only materials migrating overseas are in their recycled components, such as scrap steel, copper, aluminum. Your hard drives and hazardous waste is not disposed of overseas!

We maintained a collection facility in Oakland for residential drop-​off up until this year (2011). We no longer accept residential drop-​off,. We still offer *FREE pick up service at your commercial facility or property management group.
