History

Established in 2005.

Mey Saephan, LMFT, has been providing psychotherapy for over 18 years! She loves to see people’s lives change through the new insights and skills they learn. After many years of working in the non-profit sector, Mey started her private practice «Lasting Affection Counseling services «in 2005. Over the years of providing counseling, she found that individuals, couples or families, experience relational problems due to unresolved trauma, whether it be emotional or physical. These traumas prevent them from being able to feel safe and secure in their relationships. Over time, these individuals develop relational strategies that break down their relationships. Her job has been to help individuals identify their old strategies that are not working and replace them with new strategies in relating to create safe and secure relationships. As clients learn new behaviors and practice them, it becomes a part of their unconscious and eventually they have a new way of relating in relationships!
