I was licensed as a Marriage, Family Therapist in 1991, after doing internships at different community mental health and private mental health agencies in Oakland. I have been in private practice in Oakland since 1991, primarily in the Montclair and lower hills area. I continue to work with adult individuals, couples, adolescents and groups.

I was licensed as a Marriage, Family Therapist in 1991, after doing internships at La Clinica de la Raza, Casa del Sol (mental health clinic for the Spanish speaking population in Oakland); Family Service of the East Bay, and Gladman Psychotherapy Clinic. I have been in private practice in Oakland since 1991 and have worked with referrals from EAP programs (the City of Oakland, Claremont, etc), Victims of Crime, immigration attorneys, doctors, schools and universities, health care facilities, etc, and worked with a wide range and diverse group of ethnic, socioeconomic, cultural backgrounds of clients. I lead ongoing groups, provide parenting consultations and offer workshops, and have supervised interns.
