Theater/Foyer
Our Theater and Foyer are perfect for anything from theatrical performances and concerts to fundraisers and corporate events.
The Lakeside Theater is ADA accessible, and seats over 300, with extensive backstage amenities.
The Lakeview Foyer curves around the outside of the theater, and offers sweeping views of Lake Merritt through our floor to ceiling windows.
Conference Rooms
For business meetings, presentations Webex conferences and more, we offer fully equipped conference rooms both spacious and intimate.
Rooftop Garden
Perched atop the Kaiser Center’s 5-story parking garage, this 3.5-acre roof garden features a reflecting pond with fountains, a wooden bridge, expansive lawns, mature trees and ample seating.
Even if you are not scheduling an event, you can still enjoy the garden! The Kaiser Center Roof Garden is open for public enjoyment Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 p.m.
Use of the Roof Garden outside normal business hours must be pre-arranged and fees may apply.
History
Established in 1960.
The Kaiser Center Roof Garden was the first roof garden built in the United States after World War ll. The project was commissioned by Kaiser Industries and was awarded to the San Francisco-based landscape architecture firm, Osmudson & Staley.
