I feel like I got bamboozled :(While she is nice the professionalism lacked extensively. No after care instructions were given for the extensions and the hair I purchased did not seem worth the price after reviewing with other salons.

I always like to support African American small businesses, we are so very talented and hard working. I usually don’t write reviews however I am so disappointed and upset about this outcome.
I came here in hopes of having my hair washed, edge straightened and styled well, spoke with Tiffany and she said $ 65.00, long story short, I got there late due to chest pains which I had apologized for and asked if I would still be seen, she said yes and also told me things to do to relieve the chest pain as she had an episode like that once before. She washed my hair in a hurry and left me under the dryer, then got me out in a hurry with my scalp still wet, flat ironed my hair in a hurry and burnt the side of my face with her hot comb and proceeded to scold me for jumping from the pain of the burn!, she then said she was upset with me for coming late and asked why I came late, I told her that we just had a conversation about it.
My hair looked wrong like my kid sister flat ironed it and then brushed it, I told her again that the reason I had come was to get my edges straightened but she said she was in a hurry and I should go to the beauty supply to by an edge flat iron of some sort, she refused credit card and had me go to the bank to get cash (it would have helped if she mentioned this earlier) while telling me to hurry up because she needs to go and return her boy friend’s car to him because he was getting irritated, she said just give me $ 60.00 but when she saw that I had retrieved $ 65.00 from the ATM, she grabbed it and ran off to her car telling me to call so that she can sell me some hair she has in her shop.
There is no way I would ever return here! The high light was when we all thought we heard a gun shot and she ran towards her back exit leaving us in the salon! Then she was peaking out and asking me if the bank next door was getting robbed! She didn’t even care about the customers safety, for goodness sake, we came to her salon! All in one, the whole first impression of her was completely unprofessional.
If you have tons of money to waste and want a mediocre hair style, then by all means go off and see her but try and find someone else please, this is just my personal opinion, some of her other regular clients might feel differently, I am just speaking from my own experience.
However, the one star is because she had said to go and buy and edge flat iron of some sort, although I was offended, I turned it into something good, went and bought the edge flat iron and some needle and thread and fixed my hair myself
