History

Established in 1986.

I began my experience in the remodeling industry more than 31 years ago. While in college, I began an apprenticeship with a local contractor. Through thorough mentoring, I learned the fundamentals of building and all aspects of construction, from finish work to building homes and business professionalism.

My passion turned professional shortly thereafter when my reputation as a reliable and qualified worker gained me a client base of my own. I first started Chiaramonte Painting and Decorating, a wallpaper, painting and carpentry business. With the success of this company, I started to use the carpentry and construction skills I had learned to create Chiaramonte Contracting. With increased demand and referrals from loyal clients, I incorporated my business and expanded it to include property management.

Over the years, I have been building upon my skill base and educating myself on the current innovations and methods in the industry. As a member of the Bergen County Mastercraftsman for many years, I attended seminars, events, and toured material factories. Among many things, I learned how products are developed and specifically how different qualities affect work once implemented at home. I have maintained excellent working relationship with my vendors and industry contacts throughout the past 28 years. I bring the knowledge, the benefits of having professional colleagues in the industry, and expert quality craftsmanship to renovations and remodeling projects in the New York/​New Jersey area.
