Here at Blue Sparrow Pilates & Fitness we specialize in STOTT Pilates®, Gyrotonic®, CORE™ Interval Training, and Total Barre™ to help you build strength, gain awareness, and rehabilitate injuries.

We want you to get the most out of every single workout. We want you to look and feel amazing. We want you to build your core strength without pain or tension. That’s why our highly trained team teaches exercise methods based on science, and rooted in what we consider to be the world’s leading method of fitness: Pilates. STOTT Pilates®, Gyrotonic®, CORE™, and Total Barre™ will expand your understanding of your body in a way you can feel right from the first session. By understanding your body, you’ll build a deeper connection with the core muscles, making you resistant to injury and able to tackle life with strength. These exercise methods will transform the way you move, because we build you up from the inside out.

Our flagship studio in North Beach, San Francisco was founded in 2007.

Blue Sparrow Pilates & Fitness in Oakland, CA, founded in 2015, is an extension of the Blue Sparrow team, services, and philosophy that Pilates and fitness enthusiasts in San Francisco have come to know and love.

Meet the Business Owner

Holly F.

Business Owner

Holly Furgason, founder and CEO of Blue Sparrow Pilates has taught more than 15,000 hours of Pilates and is a true expert in the field. DailyCandy recently called Holly «one of our favorite Bay Area fitness gurus.» Holly opened Blue Sparrow Pilates in 2007 in San Francisco and is excited to be opening the second location eight years later in Oakland.

When asked why she loves to teach Holly remarks, «I love to teach Pilates and fitness because I help people feel better in their bodies, and I help my community become healthier, happier, and more fit.»
