History

Established in 1999.

My foundation for forensic architecture was forged from more than 20 years as a design architect. My prior work specialized in commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings experiencing deterioration from various sources of water infiltration or material failures. I developed and designed various waterproofing details for several new high-​rise commercial and residential buildings — including below grade, exterior wall, and roofing.

I’m a licensed architect and general contractor with more than 25-​years of experience in design and construction. Since 1999, my focus has been on forensic architecture. My years of experience in the building industry enables me to develop analyses to differentiate between design intent, work in place, and rate of occurrence for alleged construction defects. As a design Architect, I prepared repair drawings for projects with material failures and/​or deterioration from water infiltration. And my construction experiences allow me to oversee the construction repairs while working closely with the Contractors.
