Ricardo is great. I’ve dealt with many spa service people and companies and Ricardo was the best by far. He’s honest, fair, knowledgeable and professional. He did a great job troubleshooting my issue and finding a solution to a complex problem. He has the best prices and won’t do any unnecessary repairs. He’s great all around.

Ricardo was a great guy to deal with. He was nice, honest, on time AND he answered his phone! He also charged a fair price for the heater replacement/​repair that I had done on my Sundance spa. He completed the job in the time he originally estimated. No funny business and far more reasonably priced than 2 other companies that I had gotten estimates from. I HIGHLY recommend him for any hot tub or spa repair. Thank you Ricardo!

Ricardo was recommended by the store that sold and installed my Dimension One spa. I was not disappointed. Ricardo was punctual, cordial, and very patient in explaining the details of what he was doing. Even though he took a bit longer to do the work than he estimated, he did not charge me any more than the quote he gave me. A few weeks later, I had Ricardo back to do some more work on the spa (not related to what he did before) and he was able to come out and do the work on short notice because I was a repeat customer. His pricing is very fair and he does a great job.

Ok, as a property manager and developer, I meet a lot of flakey sub contractors. Not Ricardo. He was on it from the get go. Professional on the phone. On time for his appointment. Prepared for the service call. Informative and helpful. After the service call he even took the time to find and send me a copy of the online manual for the spa. It doesn’t get much better than that. So, if you want my input, use Bay Area Spas and Ricardo.

This company and especially its owner, who is also a service technician, Ricardo Escalante, are just terrific. I found him yesterday, and told him that I have a Jacuzzi tub which had been not working for several years. I didn’t care about it then, but now I have a problem with chronic pain and I’m sure it will be helpful. Based on that, Ricardo very kindly showed up at my house the very next day.
He could have fooled me into buying a new, expensive pump, and paying him to install it. But he located a tripped circuit breaker which was in fact right next to the switch to the pump on, but at floor level. I know about circuit breakers and had looked all over the house before calling, but somehow missed this one which was in plain view.
Ricardo was so respectful and gentle with me, even though I felt completely stupid, and he charged practically nothing for his time. Nowhere close to his ordinary service call fee. I will definitely use his company again if I have any needs that are within his skills.
