Auto Glass On The Move began as a privately owned and operated auto glass repair and replacement company in Oakland in 1979. Today our fleet of mobile repair units provides free, mobile service anywhere in Alameda and Contra Costa County. We are preferred vendors for insurance companies, dealerships and discriminating body shops. Whether you require a custom cut piece of automotive safety glass or a simple windshield chip repair, no job is too big or too small. Our commitment to the highest quality customer service possible has earned us an A+ rating and placed us on the Honor Roll with the Better Business Bureau. Starting in 1979 I opened Glass On The Move with one intent; to provide excellent customer service, superior craftsmanship with the best quality materials.

With corporate offices located in Oakland, CA we now provide auto glass replacement services to all of the Bay Area.

When I began my apprenticeship I was fortunate to receive my training from journeymen that had been if the business for years and taught me things that no longer are common knowledge. I used to spend hours learning from the masters. What seams like a simple process in truth is a highly crafted skill. I learned to cut glass to exact manufacturing specifications and install it so that the repair looked better the original.

Today that same integrity and pride in workmanship is the backbone of our business. We have become a resource to insurance companies, dealerships, body shops, fleet mangers custom car restorers to resolve any and all automotive glass replacement problems.
