Keoni did a great job for my wedding!
I am from LA and my wedding is held in Oahu. I have interviewed several photographers in both LA and Hawaii, and I found that Keoni is the best one among them. He is professional and friendly, with good sense of humor that made us happy and relaxed. He also brought a friend as his assistant. After the wedding he drove us to a beautiful beach for the couple’s portraits. It was a hot day, the wedding tired us out and I thought I may have no mood for portraits. However, Keoni made it a lot of fun and both my husband and me enjoyed the photo shooting. It was not boring at all. All my families love the wedding pictures as well as the couple’s portraits. And the price is great, too!
He mentioned that he will send me a usb with all the pictures. But I was surprised that the usb was came with a customized wood box, with our picture printed on it! It looks so pretty!
If you would like to take wedding pictures or couple’s portraits in Hawaii, you should definitely choose Keoni! Actually I showed the pictures and the usb box to my friend and she said she will hire Keoni even her wedding is not in Hawaii. She would like to ask if Keoni can travel to California…

My fiancé and I were in Oahu in January and decided to take some engagement photos while on vacation. We were able to squeeze in some time with Keoni for an engagement shoot and he was great to work with! He was super flexible and advised us on where/​what time to shoot, how to pose, and provided us with guidance on everything photo shoot first-​timers would need.
Now onto the photos — our photos turned out to be everything we had hoped for and more! You can definitely see his style shine through the pictures and also the personalities of us as a couple. He is extremely reasonably priced for his work and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great photographer in Oahu.

My son fell out of the tree just monkeying around as normal. Keoni got him laughing and back in good spirits in no time with… the claw! Our family of 5 consisted of a 15 year old selfie queen, 6 year old rambunctious boy, and a shy 5 year old princess. We enjoyed a very laid back mountain shoot. Kids had fun laughing with mom and dad. This was an intimate shoot in public and we felt just as if it were only our ‘ohana. We will use Keoni (if he doesn’t think we are crazy) for family photo shoots to come. Highly recommend his services!

I hired Keoni based on the Unilocal reviews and decided to make an account just to add to the other 5 star reviews. We only hired Keoni for a one hour photo shoot during our vacation but it went beyond our expectations. The photos were all fabulous and we had trouble picking just one for the Save the Dates.
Keoni was genuinely friendly, fun, professional and talented. We asked for directions for posing because we didn’t know what to do, and he guided us and made us feel completely comfortable. My hubby was dreading the photo session because he hates taking photos and thought it would be awkward, but he seriously had a blast. He even wished we take him back home to shoot our wedding haha.
This price is on point! Our Kentucky wedding photographer charges the same for an engagement session, but we would have had to driven to her town 2 hours away. Keoni drove through the terrible Oahu traffic to meet us up on North Shore for the shoot. He deserved extra stars just for that. Great price, awesome experience, and wonderful service!

Keoni was great! I called him relatively last minute to arrange some engagement photos because I couldn’t pick between all of the other photographers. I wanted to surprise my now fiancé and have him hiding to take the pictures. The execution was perfect. He picked the spot and everything and just told me when and where to go. The pictures turned out great and it was an all around fun experience that could have easily turned into a stressful disaster if I hadn’t used him. Highly recommended.

Keoni is an absolutely wonderful wedding photographer; he was truly a pleasure to work with on our wedding day! From the start we were impressed with his beautiful images and reasonable prices; we particularly loved his use of light and the way he captured natural, not staged, moments. Keoni’s work is artistic yet accessible, which was a perfect fit for what we wanted.

On a random sleepless night I got this brilliant idea of doing our engagement photos on an upcoming family vacation in Oahu. I immediately went on Unilocal and started searching for an affordable, yet AWESOME photographer in the area. I browsed around, compared prices, looked at many websites, and fell in love with Keoni’s photos and prices!
I sifted through all the photos and reviews on his Unilocal as well as his regular business website (
) and concluded that he must be a down to earth kind of guy with a knack for natural looking photos. I contacted him right away and discussed possible dates, ideas for location, etc. And yes, he was very friendly and easy to talk to from the beginning. He even accommodated to our evolving plans and when the day finally arrived I was really impressed by the way he led us throughout the photo shoot. He made us feel comfortable right away and guided us through different poses in a fluid manner. He made the whole experience very fun and NATURAL, which was the general mood/​theme I was going for. He did an amazing job capturing our moments blended with the beautiful landscape, and has gifted us with precious memories and images to last a lifetime. I cannot be happier with how the photos turned out and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Keoni was awesome as our wedding photographer. We really liked our photos and felt like he did a really good job getting us to take good pics. He was good at posing us and had great ideas for pictures. He was very communicative before the wedding and during the wedding he let us know that he was going to be late due to traffic and then he jumped right in when he got there. We loved that he and his assistant seemed to be everywhere and everything I was like we need a picture of that, they had already gotten it. We were happy that we picked kpix.

keoni’s wedding photos are beyond gorgeous, there’s no doubting that (just look at his website portfolio!!) but i’ve known him since his days shooting lifestyle photography for fashion, travel, etc. which to me embody his true talent as a photographer. his ability to capture texture and composition is a natural talent that cant be taught. beyond that, he has an extremely good eye and professional skills at editing photos in post, which to me is one of the most important things to consider when hiring a photographer.

We booked Keoni for our wedding in December. I loved the way his work had a unique style to it, much different than most wedding photographers and he was super affordable! He was awesome, so friendly and professional. He was so open minded and never got annoyed when family members kept trying to cut in while we were taking our photos. Keoni was amazing! We hired him for our wedding and even though we didn’t meet beforehand, he made us feel like we were old friends. We chose Keoni as our wedding photographer based on his stellar reviews, reasonable price, and high quality photos. I found that a lot of Hawaii wedding photography was too expensive and/​or too cheesy, but his photos looked authentic and impressive. I liked that his photos showed variety, which led me to believe he took care to adapt his photography to the place and people around him. He did not disappoint.
Keoni not only took beautiful photos of our special day, he was down to earth and fun to be around. He and his second photographer were focused and professional while making us feel comfortable. Even though they were snapping away like crazy, they were quite stealth about it and never felt burdensome at all. Keoni was receptive to my few requests, but I trusted his skills. He mostly captured the day authentically as it happened, which is what we really wanted.
Due to our modest wedding funds, we could only budget to have them with us until about three songs into the final dancing portion, but if you can afford the extra couple hours I highly recommend having them with you until the very last minute!

I’ve worked with Keoni on several occasions. He is a fantastic photographer, and very creative! Being a second shooter for him showed me first-​hand how creative he is with his surroundings. He makes use of everything around him, like the scenery and abstract objects. He especially is prompt with time, sometimes even an hour early! He makes sure that all the needs of the couple is taken care of. Definitely a great photographer and nice person.

I would definitely recommend Keoni to anyone wanting a fun, yet professional photographer. Whether its for a wedding or engagement photos, he’s amazing at both. His style is very natural and relaxed. I found Keoni 2 years ago when I was researching photographers for my destination wedding. His portfolio blew me away and I knew I had to have him photograph my wedding. His rates are affordable for weddings of all sizes. He has an amazing eye and captured the most beautiful pictures. I was coming from the mainland so I needed some help with location and he made great suggestions. Keoni was very laid-​back, easy to work with and took a great variety of photos. I wouldn’t have gotten the quality of pictures with anyone else. I was expecting the photos to be done in 6 – 8 weeks but I got them in a month!

When looking for a wedding photographer I only had two things in mind; price and quality of pictures. While researching on-​line, going through portfolio after portfolio I finally found Kpix Photography. The web-​site is beautiful and very professional so right away I was sure the prices would be expensive, but I loved the photographs so much I decided to look up the prices. I thought there must be some kind of mistake; beautiful pics at a resonable price?
My fiancé and I decided to set up an appointment with Keoni to take our engagement photos, just to see for ourselves how the pictures would turn out. He really took his time with us and took TONS of pictures. The end result almost took my breath away, somehow he knew exactly what we wanted with the limited amount of information I gave him.
