Meet the Manager

Lauren O.

Manager

Dr. Lauren Hood-​Olson, DMD, specializes in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. She was raised in McLeansboro, IL, a small community in southern Illinois about 100 miles east of O’Fallon. She graduated valedictorian of her high school, and then attended Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville, where she was awarded the Chancellor Scholarship, as well as one of two positions for early acceptance into the School of Dental Medicine.

Upon graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree, Dr. Lauren was recognized with the highest overall GPA for the department of science. She went on to complete her doctorate of dental medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, IL. She again graduated summa cum laude – the only doctor in her class to earn that honor.

After graduating dental school, Dr. Lauren married Andrew Olson of O’Fallon, IL. They moved to Rochester, NY, where she completed her residency at the Eastman Dental Center Department of
