When I first went to this doctor, he seemed nice enough. However, I was turned off a little by his «salesy» personality. For example, he pushed for me to spend extra $ on special lens coating for my son. The following year when I said that my son only needed an exam, not new glasses since he still had the same prescription, the doctor said that I should use my benefit and get the glasses. I didn’t need the expensive coating for him, that there was a cheaper coating. Hmmm… why did I need it the previous year then, and why was I not offered the cheaper coating before? Also, this doctor does not give you your script at the end of your appt… which is against the law. You have to request it, and then they will mail it to you. Why do they do this? So, that you will purchase your glasses and contacts from them! Lastly, and the worst of all… I chose to use my glasses benefit the second year, since I still had contacts remaining. When I ran out of contacts one month before I was VSP eligible for a yearly exam, I called them and asked them to send my script so that I could order contacts elsewhere. He would not give it to me. He said that I would have to come in and pay for a contact lens appt, since I only paid for the glasses exam 11 months before. WHAT?! The extra contact charge is for contact lens fitting (changing brands). I have never been charged that by any other doctor if I was remaining with the same contact. And, he looked at my eyes with my contact lens in during the appointment, and said that my eyes were healthy, everything looked good. This man is $$$ HUNGRY. So, I ended up having to wear old contacts for the last month. I will never go to this doctor again. He lost 2 more customers. I’ve seen similar reviews online for the same doctor. BEWARE
