I should have read the reviews. Anyone notice that the cars they use to advertise are nothing like what you rode in? They are missing the duct tape on the mirrors! Good thing the windows are blacked out because when it is 80 plus degrees out and you have a birthday party for a group of 8 year olds and the stereo plays three songs and then ceases to work without anyone but the Mother of the Birthday girl at the helm and all the faces turn from excitement to disappointment and «How much longer» you can feel the pit in your stomach start to turn. And please note, I didn’t rent this thing to be ostentatious, I rented it because kids love to ride together and as a single, disabled Mom I cannot drive with that many kids in one car and breaking the group up generally results in a fight plus the car seat laws are strict and I would have needed not just the items I asked their parents to send by booster seats as well. HECTIC.
In addition to the music, roof and other auxiliary items failing before we even began our trip, the A/​C did not work. It turned from the greatest start of a party in the first 15 minutes with just music and turned into a burning hell.

In fact hit my child in the face after a speed bump causing that old detachable JVC stereo to bounce off the face plate and nail my kid in the face so hard it left marks for her party photos and was able to continue on to hit another kid as it fell from above.
With pieces falling off the vehicle, air causing one individual to sustain heat stroke and the overall indication that this vehicle was not as promised or in any condition to provide service to a group of children we had to evacuate the vehicle after at most 40 minutes of drive time during the entire 5 hour rental. We did not plan on this and I had an agenda to that effect but we were left celebrating and eating cake on the side of the road near the ghetto of Novato watching birds and reminding the kids to watch for poop form the geese as they begged to go to the last stop and abandon the limo — unfortunately, as I told the limo service booker I could not arrive at the last spot until 3:30 and would want the extra time as «all the kids care about is singing and dancing in a cool car».
The one thing that did indicate «luxury» was the service provided by Barry. He showed up on time in his beat up limo and made the best with what he had. I felt bad for the guy. The poor man spent over a hour trying to fix the stereo as he knew that the kids were excited to spend the time in the limo. At 8 years old would you rather sit in bird poop on your birthday or in sweltering heat with all your friends complaining. Barry accommodated us every way he could including not making us stay in the limo any longer than need be. He was on time, apologetic, informative and kind. But he couldn’t even wait for us as he had to go work on the vehicle like a mechanic in a suit. He was red and sweaty and I felt awful for him.

I think I must note that if you see the stars are high for a few groups pay close attention as a professional you would not want to take out clients in their fleet nor would you, as a parent, really want your child in a death trap unmaintained vehicle even if for only a few blocks?
So my child who missed her bday last year due to growing pains and this year set to be a great big surprise was a great big miss. The company hounded me about any crumbs or broken plastic glasses costing $ 250 dollars and I could not cancel as it was within 7 days or I would pay the full amount.
However, I contact them and ask for a response within 24 hours and as that hour nears, the company who incessantly called me has not responded, the owner has not reached out, and my losses exceed what you see here as I was bedridden from having to change plans and move the food when I had no help since my chaperone I feared was going to lose it from heat stroke and I got stuck making trips out to poop bay to sing a very unhappy birthday to my kid. Trust me we did all we could but all the girls said is «what a let down, I thought limo’s were nice to ride in and at least had music like my parents cars.»
I think this company takes advantage of single Mom’s and the disabled and those they don’t believe will notice or be capable of fighting back so please support me as I attempt in conjunction with the better business bureau, District Attorney for false marketing and advertising practices and legal representation for which I will not only ask for a full credit minus the tip but for my legal fees for the injuries sustained, breech of contract, misrepresentation by company personnel as to vehicle’s condition and safety, and so on. Please contact me if you are also a victim of this company or if you have any information to assist me. I would love any photo’s (we have many but the more the better) to demonstrate that the company was negligent and did not make repairs that were needed when first notified on Unilocal

Barry was our driver for my birthday this weekend and he truly made the experience perfect for us! His knowledge of the area, pleasant personality and attention to detail made it a birthday I won’t forget and I would definitely request him on our next visit!

Being in the customer service field, I truly appreciate when someone goes above and beyond. The process to rent a limo was easy, efficient, super clear and no hidden costs. They are upfront about everything. I planned a Bachelorette Wine Tour to Napa and it was AMAZING!!! I give 5-​stars to BARRY who went above and beyond my expectations. He made sure to be in front at every location so we wouldn’t have to wait outside. Even provided umbrellas to walk the bachelorette to the car so she wouldn’t get wet (it was raining). He kept to the itinerary and checked in with me numerous times to make sure our comfort level was satisfactory. He didn’t even bat an eye when we made an extra stop. After the 2^nd stop, the girls and I got a bit rambunctious and I thought he was surely going to say something but he actually appreciated our shenanigans and energy. The limo was clean, well stocked with supplies, great sound system where you can play your own music and party lights!!! I would definitely rent from them again as long as I can have Barry as my driver. Thank you Barry for dealing with us crazy girls and the Beebs!!!

Every interaction I had with the Rixos team was flawless and attentive. As parents we felt that the kids were safe with you, and I know they felt spoilt in the stretch SUV with Rodney the driver!

I wish there was a way to give them 5 NEGATIVE stars. What a bunch of liars. We had a confirmation several months prior to our tour that we were all booked. The day before the excursion they told us that there wasn’t any room on the bus! What? Are you kidding me? Liars! When we told them about the confirmation email they said they never heard of us. Missed the whole tour, thanks! If you want to be screwed, I would definitely recommend them.

I used this service for my children’s senior prom. The driver, Barry, was very nice and even showed up ½ hour early to get the kids from Sebastopol to Downtown SF on time. I would highly recommend tham, as they even got us booked on very short notice, for a very busy night!

Booked Rixos for a Party of 8 for 2 days of wine tasting in Napa Valley. I had reached out to a number of transportation and tour companies and landed on Rixos. They were super easy to deal with online, very responsive in following up on all my questions and cost-​wise extremely reasonable. They are a transportation company, versus a tour company so you do have to plan your own itinerary, but I wanted to do that myself anyway, so was a win-​win for me. I had even asked some of the tour companies if there were specific wineries we wanted to see if there was flexibility to accommodate our personal requests, and many of them do NOT have that flexibility unless you want to pay an arm and a leg extra.
Anyway, on to our Rixos experience. It quite honestly could not have been better. I did read the negative posts prior to booking and decided to risk it anyway. After our experience, I’m quite stunned at those that had such horrible dealings with this Company. As ours was superb. The booking itself was easy with Rose, Firi, Selin and Lindsay managing all the details and answering all our questions throughout. They also sent a list of recommended wineries but were not pushy in the slightest to go with their recommendations. The cars were immaculate, they showed up on time (in fact on the first day, they were almost 30 mins early and just waited until we were ready at our reserved time with no extra charge), and the drivers were laid back, personable and outright fantastic. Thank you Eric and Oscar for a fabulous 2 days!
I can’t wait to go back to Napa and would look no further than Rixos for any transportation needs.

Very disappointed in the way they treat clientele. Driver was late. After calling once to ask him for his ETA he was even 10 minutes later than that. After being told from the time we booked the trip that if we needed more time we could add on and pay extra, our driver could not accommodate us for an additional hour. When telling him we wanted another hour after he picked us up late, thus resulting in more traffic, he told us he could not extend out time as he had somewhere to be. In our confirmation it says we could have extended our trip if needed. He drove erratic at times. The car made noises. Then when I called to voice my disappointment. 2times. No one had the courtesy to get back to me. Thank you to Firi who listened to my plight. My family has a limo service in NY and prides themselves on promptness and courtesy towards the client: Including showing up on time, responding to client inquiries and opening a door and helping people out of the car. (None of that was done for us). As a whole I am disappointed with the service I received and I am still waiting for a response.

We booked a limo bus through Rixos for a bachelorette party wine tasting day through Healdsburg. The house we had rented was at the top of a long, windy, narrow road. Barry, our driver, appreciated the heads up but had no issues navigating the road and getting us to/​from the house safely. The bus was perfect, plenty of room, very comfortable, and had all the essentials (wine cooler, chilled water, AC, cables to hook up our phones for music, etc). Barry was an absolute gem. He was very sweet and tolerant of our antics; he took several pictures for us, allowed us to adjust our schedule, and even gave us a little taste of his Elvis impersonating talent!

Was setting up a Mom’s wine tasting event for a local elementary school fund raiser. Reached out to Rixos based on a recommendation. Initial emails were helpful and informative. I understood all of their policies and provided a deposit for my event.
After it was clear we would not have the headcount necessary to make the limo bus pencil out, I sent them an email 12 days before the event (their policy dictates notification at least 7 days in advance). In my email I stated «I’m afraid we’re not going to have enough Moms to fill up the limo. Can we cancel that one and perhaps find something smaller for 10 – 12?» We then discussed some other options — all the while I assumed they were clear I cancelled the original bus.
7 days before the event I received a «confirmation» that my large bus was scheduled. I replied back stating I had cancelled. After 3 – 4 emails back and forth, showing my previous correspondence, they still hold firm I never cancelled. So I can either contact my attorney to get this resolved or ride around in a limo bus by myself for 6 hours. What a fantastic experience — when I just tried to raise money for a local school, benefit the kids and help a local small business. Wow — was I screwed.

We used Rixos for my daughter and her friends’ prom last night. First of all, let me say that they gave me a great price and were very nice, especially with my thousand emails back and forth including last minute changes (it happens when you have so many kids involved)!! They were ALWAYS professional, nice and very helpful. Last night the kids had Jeff as their driver and they absolutely loved him! He vibed very well with the kids and they even played his favorite song. They had an awesome experience and I want to thank Rixos for that. I heard some horror stories about other places so it was nice to find out how awesome Rixos was first hand. Thank you, thank you! We will definitely use them again!

I needed a limo for a wine tasting I was planning for my birthday with a bunch of my friends and found Rixos online. The people at Rixos we incredibly helpful and nice through everything. They gave me recommendations about which wineries I could go to and were very clear about all the details of the limo and the ride. Barry was a great driver, very funny, and very nice for putting up with all of us after we had been drinking a lot. I definitely recommend him as well as Rixos Limousine service.

We loved Barry!!! The limo service was easy to book and SUPER reliable! Barry was 100% on POINT — he understood our group and helped us get around! Love this limo service and I would recommend Barry a hundred times over! Two thumbs way up.

I wish I could give them a negative star. The worst night ever. The meanest «party bus» driver ever. His name was Casey and he literally ruined my friends birthday!
I’m beyond shocked with how this driver handled everything.
He was hours late picking the party up, and his excuse was «he lost track of time …»
Then he kept getting lost, taking wrong turns, we were late to every event that we had planned!
On the ride back was a different story!!! He stopped in a parking lot, made 2 people WALK, yes WALK. 2 miles home because he thought there were to many people in the bus… Really? You couldn’t drive 2 minutes and drop them off at home? You honestly thought it was okay to leave them in a parking lot at 2am?!? WHO
GAVE YOU THIS JOB!!! The birthday girl was crying, everyone was upset. Seriously ruined the night!

Barry was hand’s down the best driver I’ve ever had for a Sonoma wine tasting trip. My family & I were excited for our tastings at Ledson, Gundluch & Sebestiani, and although we were concerned our driver would not be able to find us (as our house wasn’t easily found on GPS) he managed to arrive 15 min early. Giving us time to finish our mimosas and pack our snacks & selves onto the limo bus. We arrived at each vineyard promptly following our schedule, thanks to Barry being always ready to pick us up at the blink of a text ;) Our limo bus had an aux outlet for playing music and enough room for all 10 of us to comfortably sit and move around the bus if we wanted to switch spots or bust out a dance move. Barry was accommodating when we decided to leave our last tasting early to find food in the town of Sonoma and grab ice cream. What an excellent service/​driver! Also, the staff at Rixos were great about following up prior to our tasting and providing a documented itinerary for us to proof and make changes as needed leading up to our trip. I would 100% use Rixo again and ask for Barry! :)

I made a reservation for a Sunday to go wine tasting to celebrate my birthday. The reservation process was easy and it was all done quickly through email, which I prefer anyway. They were also accommodating to the slight changes I had to make. This definitely makes things easier when trying to organize a group outing.
We got an SUV and the driver Casey was early but not too early… he was the right amount of early lol. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgable when it came to the wineries which was great since it was my first time. We never had to wait when going from place to place because he would be there quickly to pick us up.
All in all our experience was great and I will be using this company and requesting Casey if I ever need a service like this again :)

I only use Unilocal for positive reviews, but I had a unpleasant experience with this company, i even tried contacting them via email and no response, they were very prompt during the booking period but not so much now, so here I am.
The day of my event, my driver arrived 20 minutes late. I had a party of 6 with me for a day of wine tasting in Napa. Once we hit the road, our driver (Maria) got on the wrong freeway, I noticed and brought it to her attention, she then go off the freeway, parked, and asked my party if someone could sit in passenger seat next to her, because she didn’t know how to get out of the area on her own.
We got on the freeway at 10:45am, pick up was scheduled and confirmed for 10am.
Once one of my guest was in the passenger seat, she also had to insert the directions to the Napa winery on our drivers phone, because our driver didn’t know how to do so. We arrived at out wine tasting reservation with 2 minutes to spare.
Maria was a nice lady! but that was just too much. We had to give her directions, sit next to her, myself and my party were unable to enjoy and relax on our way there. And for the company not to reply to my email about the situation is unprofessional.

My bachellorette party went smoothly thanks to Ameen, our limo driver. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. He showed up on time, made sure all of my girls were comfortable and all our needs were meet. He explained to us that we were going to get to our destination really early and so he went the scenic route so we wouldn’t be waiting in front of the winery waiting for it to open. Then when we needed him to pick us up, he was there right away. We did not have to wait on him.
He was such a great limo driver, he was funny and friendly, not to mention he knew I was getting married and gave me flowers after our last stop of the day!!! That by far was the BEST part of the trip! Super sweet and reliable. Thank you Ameen for making my bachellorette party special and memorable!

I WAS RIPPED OFF BY RIXOS! I was quoted a point to point price. I was told I would be charged $ 295 for pick up and drop an hour away. Then pick up that night and dropped back off at home. I was actually charged $ 295 each way.
$ 295 for an hour of driving is outrageous and was not planning on spending $ 600 for two hours of driving not including tip.
The driver was nice, but the limo was old and worn out inside. There was a hole in one of the seats and no champagne or cider either. Not to mention the driver would not drop us off near the stadium. He dropped us off over a mile away from Levi stadium which defeated the purpose of getting a limo in the first place! Not happy!!!
