I order delivery from here occasionally, and the items on the menu are usually either a hit or a miss. I think the chicken club is what they’re known for. I’ve eaten on several occasions and it’s always decent. I love that they use ciabatta, but it’s a tad greasy; the spicy mayo, the fried cutlet. But only a tad. The portion is generous though. The buffalo chicken pie is great. From the other pies I’ve had so far, the pizza is pretty good. I don’t recommend the Margherita pie for delivery though. I’m sure it tastes delicious when it’s served in at the pizzeria, fresh out of the oven. But the crust is so thin that by the time it was delivered, the pizza was pretty cold. Not lukewarm. Barely room temperature, but border line cold. The chicken parm. hero was good, but the chicken parm. calzone was huge, sloppy, and soggy(again, it was delivered and wrapped in foil, so maybe it’s one of those items you’ve just got to eat in). There were no utensils for the calzone(I’m not sure if one is supposed to use utensils, but trust me, after many failed attempts at eating this soggy monstrousity, I realized that it was an extreme inconvenience without it.) All in all, I plan to continue ordering from here. But there are a few items on the menu I’ll continue to steer clear from.

I like their pizzas, good crust and eggplant parm, Service is choppy, their set up is awful. They need to designate a pick up spot so that the line is out disorganized with people waiting to order and others picking up.

Despite being a regular this past week I had the best Chicken Parm hero. Ask for it with the vodka sauce. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had

Can’t believe I never wrote a review for this place. Grew up coming here and the quality has remained excellent over the years. The owners are extremely friendly, and come out to say hi when I happen to be visiting home(from CA). Their pizza, as other reviewers have mentioned, is very good. Also be sure to try their garlic knots and their grilled chicken salad with balsamic dressing(and extra bread to dip in it).

Best pizza place not only in Northern Valley, but the entire world. Who said the best pizza is made in Italy? Don’t listen to them, they’re stupid. The best pizza is obviously made in America, because America is the best. That being said, the management here is very welcoming and they are always hiring people that are looking for work. Everything on their menu is awesome, but my favorites are the Buffalo chicken pizza, chicken parm sub, and the chicken club sandwich. Best pizza place NA. 5⁄5 would eat again

Very good food, we’ve never been disappointed with our orders. Love the thin crust pizza, fresh toppings, and when we say light on the cheese… they get it always right. Excellent!

One of the best slice pizza joints in the Northern Valley area along with Ray’s in Closter, though prices are a little better here. I believe it’s a family owned restaurant. Nothing fancy, just good slice pizza. I’m almost always going for one of the honey dijon, buffalo chicken, or chicken bacon slices. Haven’t had the other items on the menu, so I can’t comment on them. But for a quick slice pizza craving, it’s hard to beat Mario’s around here.

I hate to do it but I’m going to leave 2 stars for a place that we used to love going to. Multiple times we have ordered delivery and it’s always been a fiasco. If it’s not late it incomplete. I once had TWO delivery drivers, in separate vehicles, almost crash into each other in my driveway, 90 mins after I ordered, because they sent out my order in pieces. The pizza used to be the best in the area we would eat it weekly either pickup or delivery. They slowly went downhill and lost our business. I’ll give it another try someday but I’ll start with picking it up and then consider delivery.

This place rocks! If you want a slice in Norwood, you can’t beat these guys. Their garlic knots are good as well. Nice little quirk: instead of the crappy tiny napkins most pizza places have, this place has paper towel holders on each table. It works nicely, actually!

Had the grilled chicken club today(they’ll make it with breaded/fried by default). OMG. On ciabatta with bacon, lettuce and a spicy mayo. Could eat this every day… for a week maybe.

My gf has a knack for knowing what to order and almost every restaurant she goes to. Well this place is the Chicken club sandwich. It a big piece of breaded fried chicken in chibatta bread. I also had a big Sicilian slice as my appetizer and a legit Stromboli. I’d stick to the Chicken club They also changed the t.v. channel so I could catch the Rutgers football game. Closed Sundays :(

Ordered delivery from here tonight. Good pizza, had large pie w/vodka sauce instead of classic red sauce. It was very good. Quick, friendly delivery.

This is the kind of local joint which you never think about when you think«what are the good restaurants nearby?»…until you realize that when you want pizza, it’s almost always where you go! The pizza is good, the meatball parm sandwiches are good, the hot platters are good, the Italian combo sandwiches are good. The garlic knots are killer. There is always a steady stream of business in there, and the staff is plenty friendly. Delivery, take-out or eat in. It’s a really great, classic neighborhood pizza joint.
