Unfourtantly I have to agree with the other negative review users on this place. First my experience was good. I came in about a week ago and placed in my custom cake order that I have been discussing over the phone for months and finally had the opportunity to come in directly and order it. Since my cake was very specific and the gentlemen helping me was clear on what I wanted and my expectations I left the bakery happy and paid for the cake in full which was my MAJOR MISTAKE! on Sunday I sent the bakery the image I wanted on the cake with the writing and follow the steps the gentlemen gave me. I called about 2 days before I was suppose to pick up the cake to confirm that the cake was exactly how I wanted it with the image. The lady I spoke to first asked if I order a cake already and I said yes than she ask for the name of the cake so I told her than she informed me that they’re was no order under that name. I informed her I had the recipet and I know I paid for the cake in full and she should try to find the cake. She again confirm that she could not locate the cake nor the email I sent the bakery. She informed me that I can drive back and deliver a print out of the image for the cake. I don’t have the luxury of dropping everything for a BAKERY MISTAKE! so I informed her I will attempt to email them again the image about an hour later I called to get an update on the email the same lady answer and informed me that she didn’t see the email nor the order for the cake. Now I’m getting more worried and annoyed so I told her than I want a refund and I will show her my recipet she inform me to just attempt again to send another email for the cake so I did then I asked her if she could hand the phone to the gentlemen that originally helped me, so she did and he told me he found the cake but still no image on the cake. I then proceeded to send the image one more time and he called to confirm he recieved the image. Finally I was a bit relieved, today ⁶⁄₁₈ I went in around 1 to pick up the cake. I had my fingers cross hoping for the best to only end up leaving upset and in tears. The cake was decorated very sloppy and it was not the way I discussed with the gentlemen. The cake was suppose to have just the image and writing nothing else instead I got stuck with a extremely dry chocolate cake with Oreo filling which had zero Oreo taste or appearance and the outside of the cake had this very tacky blue ombré at the base. When I informed the staff that I specifically was told and agree just the image and writing on a white frosting cake nothing more the staff informed me that they paint the cake base of the sex of the person even though I did not agree to this. I don’t expect a refund but I do expect an apology and hope that this bakery stops selling crapy cakes!

LOVED the cake! It was beautiful, exceeded my expectations! The only reason I took a star off is because the taste of the cake could’ve been better. It was my first time ordering a customized cake so I was a bit nervous. We don’t like fondant, so the cake was created with all whipped cream and it turned out great. It was a big hit at the birthday party. Our guests loved it!

Cake is simple, spongey not too sweet. Taste good. Didn’t feel like standing in line at portos. Not a fan of candlelight.

Most dopest and realistic BB-​8 cake ever for my son’s 1^st birthday party! Everyone loved it to the fullest! Not only that but the tast of it was out of this world with the white cake and strawberry, with white cream filling! Attendees kept getting seconds and even thirds I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back for future birthdays!

I loved my sons 1^st Birthday cake! It came out amazing and tasted delicious. I had so many of our guests coming and asking where I got the cake. They all loved the taste and design. I will definitely return again for future cakes! Pricing was accurately priced for what I asked for! $ 200

DONT ORDER CAKE HERE. It’s 5:38, my sisters college graduation party is at 6. My cake was ordered to be done at 1pm… At 5:38 pm IT IS NOT DECORATED! I should be able to come in here, pick up my cake, and leave within 5 minutes or less!!! My first time going to Joyce bakery… what a disaster. I will stick with candlelite!!! Im so upset, the cake is UGLY and to top it off it tasted terrible! No one finished their slice. It was BITTER! marble cake with strawberries and vanilla mousse filling with whipped cream frosting. How does that create a bitter cake?! They have no idea what they’re doing! Pay extra, go to candlelite down the street, you get beautiful cakes that are sweet!!!

Came here based on a recommendation from a coworker. The cake was customized as I wanted it **very cool**. However, she forgot to incorporate the unicorn I wanted onto the cake. I had a gut feeling this was going to happen when she didn’t draw it on the piece of paper. I did point that out but she assured me she will remember.
The cake tasted okay. I had better tasting cakes.
Will I return? Probably not unless I wanted a really cool designed cake.

We had our son’s first bday cake made here and I could not have asked for a better cake!!! It was challenging but exactly what we had in mind! Everyone loved it and it was absolutely beautiful!!! Thank you sooo much!

As always, Joyce Bakery did it again! They had the challenge of copying a Supreme box logo for my son’s 21^st bday cake. It came out fantastic! It was a hit at his party! The quality of the cake was absolutely delicious! Thanks again!

Came here a week before my niece’s birthday and asked if they can make a custom two tiered simple 6″ and 8″ Frozen theme cake? With their busy schedule, they were willing to accommodate since my cake was simple.
The day I came back to pick it up, I was beyond amazed by how pretty it came out! The baker actually walked out and helped me put it on my lap! (Great customer service!!)
My family LOVED the cake and my niece was super excited that it was exactly how she wanted it! The look on her face was priceless and best 5^th birthday for her!
Cake flavored– strawberry filled with whipped cream frosting. Not sweet, cake is fluffy and moist! Perfection! (I chose whipped over fondont)
So good that my sister wants a custom cake for her son and Go To for cakes!

Thank you Joyce’s Bakery for an amazing cake!!! It was both beautiful and delicious!!! Literally 3 layers on each tier! Red velvet was delicious and moist (top layer) and so was the bottom layer of vanilla and strawberry filling!!!

I ordered an «under the sea» birthday cake for my daughter’s 1^st birthday. With just three days notice, including the New Year holiday, this bakeshop made a beautiful cake — just like the picture I showed them! I didn’t realize the high cost of fondant cakes but I was pleased to have had a pleasant conversation with the woman working there (not sure of her name); she helped me figure out how many people I needed to really feed, what I could do to fit my budget, and without any pressure whatsoever. They are fast, affordable, nice and the cake was so tasty too! They also made a tasty smash cake to match! So happy to have found them. Thanks Joyce Bakery!!! Note: the cake topper we added ourselves but the rest was Joyce Bakery.

I’m a fan! Look at this beautiful and tasty creation! Johanna and her design team is awesome. With less than a 48 hour notice, she dished out this beauty. I’ve found my cake place. I highly recommend this place. For me and my wife, it is bar none! Thank you Johanna!

I’m 100 percent satisfied! The cake turned out amazing! Not only visually but a moist chocolate cake with chocolate cream.
I’ve also tried their pastries. I will definitely come just to get a treat.

I loved the outcome as soon as I saw it! Everyone loved it too!!! It was a hit for my best friends bridal shower. I was so happy to share with everyone that I found them on Unilocal :) the taste of this cake was AMAZING!

This place is so great! 25 years in business and the cheapest cakes I have seen. They look delightful! I picked up a pre-​made chocolate with chocolate mousse and had a customized message written in chocolate. Total? $ 11! Can you believe it?
Some thing like this at another bakery would easily be $ 20+. The nice owner also gave us 2 candles.
The cakes taste? I’m not sure. We brought it to the restaurant and they had a no outside food policy. I’ll have to ask birthday boy and update this.
This place also has eclairs and macaroons as well as other pastries. But the cakes just looked so delicious.

I ordered a Gender Reveal cake with White (Pink for a Girl) cake, half strawberries, half banana, and a rosette frosting design half pink, half blue.
And I absolutely loved it! It was beautiful, reasonable in price and delicious.
I will be going back to Joyce Bakery to order more cakes in the future, and I will refer her to my family and friends! Thank you Joyce Bakery for a stunning cake!

Bought a cake here for my sons 5^th birthday.
It was beautifully done, and it was delicious. Top layer of the cake was vanilla cake with lemon curd and bottom layer was chocolate with chocolate crème. Both tasted amazing and not too sweet.
Will be coming here for all future cake purchases.

Joyce’s Bakery is Amazing!!! I normally do not write reviews but I felt the need to after ordering my Daughters first Birthday Cake from here. I called and made an apt no problem they said I could come on anytime. Emailed them a couple of pictures of what I wanted and they nailed it! The cake looked exactly like the picture I send and tastes sooooo good! I recommend the chocolate with strawberry filling… Yum yum and my guest were so impressed with the design and the taste to match. I don’t understand how some of these reviews claim their cake wasn’t sweet. It’s cake people! Unless it was accidentally made with salt it’s nearly impossible to make a cake that isn’t sweet. Butter cream frosting was on point! I recommend them to everyone at the party and have a lot of girlfriend with babies so I know this place is going to get very busy pretty soon!
Oh I forgot!!! I called the day before panicking because I had more people rsvp at the last min and needed more cupcakes. I called and she said it wasn’t a problem. Picked up the next morning less then 24 hours with no additional charge!
