Excellent!!! Immaculate!!! Great friendly staff!!! Excellent pink and white, gel, manicure, full set, pedicure etc. Whatever you need done you will love it. Very reasonably priced. I’ve been going there for years. Wouldn’t ever consider going anywhere else.

Ken does the BEST French Shellac Manicure ever! It always lasts for 3 – 4 weeks without any wear marks or chips. I only get them redone because of nail growth showing at the cuticle line. Great for vacations, so I don’t worry about keeping my manicure up while I’m aways. Ken also does a great pedicure. I select regular polish for toe nails, but he takes such care that the pedicure also lasts longer than any I’ve had before. I don’t even bother with discount coupons to other places anymore, as they just don’t compare to the great work I have done at Northville Nails.

My sister and I had gotten shellac at this place. A few of the staff members laughed a little at the fact that I was a guy getting my nails done, and all started talking their language, so it was obvious they were talking about me. After about 4 days, my nails already started to chip but hers wasn’t. I called about it and they said they would fix it. When I got there, the lady tried telling me only 2 nails needed to be fixed, when clearly 4 of them did and I had to argue a little with her. She did them irritatedly and you can tell she was annoyed, which just made me more annoyed. She kept yanking on my hand and forcing it under the light, acting inconsiderate. Then I didn’t even realize she used THEWRONGCOLOR. So now my nails look stupid. Don’t go here. Rude workers.

First time here, I was pleasantly surprised. I had a manicure and pedicure. $ 42 dollars which was very reasonable. They took extra time with both the manicure and pedicure. They used a couple different lotions in the leg and foot massage. The polish choices were great, OPI and others, not the cheap brands you sometimes see. They did a hand paraffin wax on the manicure which most salons do not do and felt great. My nail technician was Steve. He was professional, pleasant and friendly… and working towards his Master’s! Good job, Steve! I’ll be back.

I came in around 345 on a Sunday for a fill for my hands. I was taken right away, and my tech was quick to see what I was looking for. I had a picture from Pinterest, and she went to work! She wasn’t too chatty but that was OK. I stared off at the TV and tried to keep my fingers loose for her to maneuver as she needed. In the end, I was there and hour and loved the end results! I paid $ 48 for a full and design, not the cheapest but she knew her stuff, that’s for sure. I guess I would take skill over friendliness in this case. Would come back!

Such genuine people and actually have the sterilizing«ovens» visible. Nice to know that they are actually clean! Always very happy with my results! Gorgeous nails every time!

This salon is clean and professional! Tommy did an amazing job with my full set. He was attentive and friendly. We had a great conversation about music while hi worked efficiently. I would definitely go back in the future!

You know, I’ve tried to give these guys ‘one more chance’ about three times now simply because their location is so convenient. Now I have to be done. The only benefit is the location. They rush people through like an assembly line, with very little concern for the satisfaction of the customer. The quality of a simple manicure is subpar. Two days after the manicure, I had peeling polish and HORRIBLE cuticles. Honestly, I can do a much better job myself.

This review is late but I still haven’t forgotten! I went there about 8 months ago to get my first shellac manicure. I had no idea what to expect with the procedure, but I do know what to expect when it comes to customer service. I was told to go sit at a certain station. I sat down in from of a girl who was sleeping(yes arms crossed, sound asleep). I should have gotten up and left that moment, but I stayed. Someone said something to her after about 2 – 3 minutes. She wiped the drool from her mouth and said«sorry, I don’t feel well». Eewwww, just eewwww… She then proceeded to touch my hands and give me a manicure. Granted it was a decent job, but really? If you don’t feel well, go home or go in the back to lay down. DONOTDOITINFRONTOFYOURCUSTOMERS! Service was fine, but I can’t get over the lack of professionalism. I won’t be going back. There is a MUCH better place in Northville that I go to now. Love my shellacs and they don’t act like they’re doing me a favor.

I barely get my nails done(every 4 years maybe?) but I had shellac for a wedding 2 weeks ago and needed it removed. I tried Northville Nails on a whim, and have no complaints! $ 21 for shellac removal and a manicure. The paraffin wax was new to me but my hands are so soft and pretty! I may have to start coming back.

Such a terrible experience! I came in and there were 5 techs sitting around doing nothing and I had to ask for assistance. When I told the guy what I wanted he did a rush job. The worst part was he did not use tools to remove my old polish… he used his nails. I got there at 4:10 and ended up leaving at 6. That’s insane to me! Don’t go there!!! They did a hack job and I don’t know how they stay in business.

I went to Nancy at Northville Nails until she left earlier this year. Since I had no allegiance to any other manicurist, I tried a few other places around town to try and find someone I liked. No dice. A couple weeks ago I was in the area and in desperate need of a fill, so I stopped in, figuring I didn’t care who did it, I just needed it done. Lo and behold, I was given Vanessa and had one of the best experiences ever. She got the shape of the nail just right, her technique was perfect, the color looked great and now I have my new stylist. Halleluiah! Can’t vouch for anyone else there but I do highly recommend Vanessa.

Terrible experience. Waited 45 minutes to get my pedicure, then the pedicurist watched TV the entire time and kept stopping. He cut the corner of my toenail and then pulled it out. It hurt like hell, bled and now I’ve been walking around with a big swollen red toe for the last 5 days. I called about it and they were very unapologetic. I would NEVER go back.

So I walked in just for a pedicure, there was 1 other person getting her nails done and about 4 employees sitting around doing nothing. The girl that did do my nails acted as if the place had a line out the door. She rushed through everything, I didn’t even get a chance to soak my feet. When it came time to pay, I asked if I had to add the tip to the bill or if I was able to add it it at the bottom, she asks if I hvw cash on me and after asking someone else she proceeds to say«we can do it this time but next time we can’t.» I was in and out in literally 10 mins… Not very happy however my nails do look good!

I am very picky when it comes to my nails and I am really happy with this place. I have been coming here for about 4 months now. I previously went to another nail place but as time went on they started to not do such a great job. The staff here is very friendly and are always accommodating to your needs and will make sure you are happy with your services. This place is a little bit more expensive than other nail places but it is definitely worth the extra couple bucks. This has now become my new place to go to every month and I hope I wont have to change again.

Sitting here waiting to have my pedi, the water has actually turned cold while I wait for someone to come. Once the guy did come, he spent the entire time watching tens on tv, actually stopping in the middle of my pedicure. This place isn’t even that busy. So far, not impressed. We’ll see what the end product is, if I am pleasantly surprised I will let you know, but so far, not so much.

I was enjoying my visit until the pedicurist made a snarky remark about my feet and asked me how long it had been since I had a pedicure. The remark pretty much ruined all the fun. I won’t be back. I’m giving two stars instead of one, because I also had a manicure, which was adequate and inexpensive.

I have liked my 2 visits to Northville Nails for Pedicures. It seemed low in cost and the employes were friendly and easy to understand.
