Alandre Salon & Day Spa

I’ve been going to Alandre for so many years and I can’t imagine going anywhere else! Susie has done an amazing job every time I get my hair cut, colored, or done. Susie has also done my makeup many times and every time looks amazing! Today was the first time I got my nails done at Alandre. A lot of people at my school always are talking about Yana’s nails and how amazing they look. Yana does an amazing job at nails, I’ve never been to a nail salon where they have all different charms, designs, and rhinestones. Yana has an amazing selection of nail polishes, and designs for your nails. She is so creative and comes up with such good ideas and colors that will look good. Defiantly never had an experience this good at ANY nail salon or hair salon before! I recommend everyone to come and get your nails, hair, and makeup done here at Alandre!

I have been going on to this saloon for more than a 3 yrs now & started trusted on the owner suzie .as she was my stylist … Then I decided to get hair extensions from her … As this was my first time ever putting the hair extensions. trusted her. She put in some old over used hair extensions on me … Which broke my hair. I called in again she did the same thing … Pl don’t ever go to this saloon. suzie (owner) very sweet & nice on your face. But later on you will be scammed from her work. She’s a liar & doesn’t know what she’s doing … Waste of money & time… I m disappointed & pissed … Will never go to this nasty place again … If you really want a good work especially on hair extensions. Pl go to Tina in commerce township. You will be amazed to see her work. Mona!

I wish I could give it negative reviews we booked nine people for a bridal party, and when we got there there were only 2 stylist and one of them was doing hair and makeup so finally after being there 2 hours they called in one other girl and she did one up do and left, so we ended up being there from 1030-​300 and barely made it back to hotel to change for pics it was awful… They didn’t listen how you wanted your hair or makeup just did it how they wanted and when u asked them to fix it got really rude with you, the man there doing hair thought he was some superstar I asked for a blow out so he blew it out, but than started putting my hair in an up do and said to me I won’t do just a blow out, so some other lady had to fix my hair… The bride had a purple sponge sticking out of her hair we had to argue with them to fix it so it wouldn’t show they told her just keep you veil down… Crazy I would not recommend this place if my life depended on it

The owner, Suzie, is is a rockstar at updos, color and blowouts, so I usually don’t mind driving over an hour round-​trip to have her do my color. Unfortunately, Suzie now has an assistant do most of her work, which resulted an unfinished blowout! I left with frizzy, half wet hair after paying $ 130 plus tip. I can’t justify driving that far for that price. In addition, I was supposed to have had a credit from previous work (eyelash extensions that fell off) that went astray, but it wasn’t noted in the system, so I just let it go. Disappointed.

Save your money if you want your eyelash extensions done here. For the price of $ 85 you can get ‚~8 –10 lashes added and glued in clumps onto your eyes. Unprofessional… perhaps all salons like to give that air of.” We are professional… certfied and hauty”. Competence is better. They advertise «permanent»…then tell you they fall out if you use oilly substances or 2weeks…“natural”…when its really a a clumped spidery appearing Lash. I saved my before and after pictures… very disappiontedand truly feel like I was given a con job… now I have spend more money to get it fixed.

I have passed this placed a million and never gave it a glance until groupon. I go right next door to the starbucks quite often and never knew the place existed.
I’ve been here twice now. The first time was right before I went on my trip to Vegas. The girl was nice. The whole staff was friendly, no negatives there. Actually nothing was negative until i got to Vegas. The next my nails were peeling only after one day of wear. I thought it was the nail polish since I never heard of the brand and just picked it because I like the color.
So i went back again last week. Once again friendly staff… I brought my own nail polish which I use quite often and it stays on for days without chipping… and once again one day later my nail polish is chipping. Whatever is being used there for base coat or top coat. I have no idea which one… it SUCKS!!! And also leave my nails brittle and dry.
I also looked at their price menu and it’s very expensive for a mani-​pedi. I didn’t even see a combo for a mani pedi on the list which stinks. I wouldn’t pay $ 70 to have my nails keep chipping.
If they change their nail coats… then I’ll go back… until then…

Pretty nice salon and very friendly stuff. The only downside — prices… and pain (for waxing, I mean).
I have done my waxing there with Sheila and she did an okay job, except could have been more gentle with me — I was brused for almost 2 weeks! (this never happened to me before, usually my estheticians are very gentle and waxing small areas only. Here, Sheila was ripping off really big areas, very roughly, ouch…) and. the poses were the worst ever! I mean, really I never had to be in a pose so embarrassing as in this salon.
Not sure how the hair stylists are, so this review is only for waxing service.
