We are always looking for the latest in comfort brands to add to our collection of brands.

Established in 2005.

We grew up in the comfort shoe business where quality shoes and customer service is everything. Our goal is to keep your feet healthy and comfortable in all your life style of shoes.

Manager

I have been in the shoe for 21 years started out as a pace setter in the dept stores. Then moved on to working for independent retail shoe stores who specialized in comfort brands. I have always had a passion for the shoe business. So now I am taking all my experience and putting it to work at The Walking Shoe in Northridge.

There is a great selection of comfort shoes and sandals for women and men. Most of the shoes here are well-​known comfort/​support brands like Clarks and Born. The owner is very kind and helpful but isn’t afraid to be frank with customers (that’s my response to the negative anonymous review below…).
My mom recently broke a bone in her foot and the owner helped her find a shoe that would be the right height to match it and found an insole that would help her be more comfortable. This a great shop, you can find better deals here than chain stores and support an independent business that cares about customers and feet!!!

I came in here looking for half insoles. They did not have them in stock. They have limited stock. They said they would call me when it came into stock. They never followed up. So I bought full ones. But they did not fit. So after spending $ 50 on useless insoles that I can’t use they refused to exchange them for a smaller size. Re-​evaluate your return policy. I should not have to be told «well your an adult, you bought them, that’s not on me» by the owner. Very disappointed.
I also looked up the insoles I paid $ 50 for and they are $ 25 online. DO NOT TRUST THE PRICES

Chat with the owner and he is a really genuine and nice guy. Great shoe selection so I bought a pair. Price was acceptable I liked the environment the most and the small business aspect.
