History

Established in 2003.

As some may know, Bounce Boba Loft was formerly known as Lollicup Teazone. The owner, Paul Tsai, purchased an existing Lollicup in October 2003. With the help of his son and daughter, Paul later took the business under some major transformations including converting the business into his own brand Bounce Boba Loft. The once dismal interior got rennovated into a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The drink recipes were tweaked to better suit local taste buds. A variety of yummy food items were introduced to satisfy the hungar of young college students of CSUN and others who frequently visited the store.

Meet the Manager

Tina T.

Manager

Tina developed her passion for food at an early age of 10. She immigrated to the US with her brother Alex from Taiwan in 1993. In Cleveland, TN, they grew up with their god family, who operated a local restaurant. From creating new entrees to running daily errands, Tina became her godmother’s «little assistant» in operating the family restaurant.

Even though her godmother was exceptional in preparing authentic Taiwanese dishes, Tina and Alex often miss something from their native land that wasn’t available in the Southeast – Boba! Eventually they reunited with their father Paul, who moved to Cali in 2001. From then on, Tina and Alex had visited countless boba places to make up for those bobaless days. Sooner or later, they were making their own boba creations at home. The siblings’ passion for boba drinks had eventually led to the establishment of Bounce Boba Loft when their father Paul wanted to reinvest his funds from a previous business venture.
