This review is long overdue… I got married on March 19, 2016 and it was the most beautiful day of my life and a lot of that is because of this amazing woman. I had a long engagement and contacted Trista very early on about a year before the wedding, from the first time I spoke to her she made me feel like I wasn’t crazy for booking her so far in advanced. She was friendly, attentive, professional, warm… I seriously cannot say enough about her plus her prices are the best I could find. Although I realized what a great blessing she was early on, she just kept amazing me as we got closer to the big day, she was always there when I needed her, she answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. But the day of the wedding is when she really shined, she was spectacular, she took the most amazing pictures and I didn’t even see her taking them! She was my helper/​makeup artist/​coordinator and everything else I needed her to be. And omg the photos were beautiful and she didn’t take long to finish them up… I know I have used the word amazing a lot in this review but I cannot think of a better word to describe her… Trista is simply amazing and you would be crazy to book anyone else for your special event. Thank you Trista!!!

Not only did I find a spectacular photographer, but I also found a lifelong friend in Trista. Upon first meeting, I felt an immediate sense of bridal relief because she was friendly, answered all my questions, and presented herself in the most professional manner. Trista was very assuring and she definitely exceeded all expectations. She arrived to my wedding and engagement on time and was able to quickly develop friendships with my friends and family (which makes it very easy to set everyone up for great photographs). My photos are beautiful, colorful and vibrant. They look spectacular in the frames set up in my home and in my photo albums.

There are not enough stars to say how wonderful Trista is. We collaborated with her for our Vintage Rainbow inspired wedding and she captured it perfectly.
Prior to the wedding, she was always very prompt in responding to emails and phone calls. She was game to incorporate all of our quirky requests including meeting the groomsmen at the Barber Shop and being covered with hairspray as I was getting my hair done.
The day of the wedding, she spent the entire day with either my husband or myself and she was always right on top of all of the action. She really became a huge part of our day and we don’t know how we got through it without her. Her infectious smile will always be a memory of the day.
Well, enough about Trista and more about her photography. Her images speak 1 million words, not just 1,000. Within a few days after the wedding we started receiving the photos as shared on social media and our friends and family went crazy over them. I love that she has talent and does not hide behind photo touching every image. She captures the essence of the wedding and that meant the world to us.
We absolutely loved Trista and are so glad that we were able to work with her to photograph our wedding. We hope that we have many great memories in the future to collaborate with Trista for.

Trista is wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about her. I call her my 5^th bridesmaid and it was true. She always took care of me where most photographers could care less about the client. I first met Trista at my best friend’s wedding back in March of 2013 where I fell in love with her. She did a wonderful job for an amazing price. So when I got engaged it was a no brainer that I would want her to do my wedding. For the price you are getting a steal! I got the package that included an engagement shoot, all day wedding coverage, a wedding photo book, and a photo booth for my wedding. Everyone loved the photo booth! The pictures that were printed out were adorable. She lets you keep the rights to all the photos and delivers they in a timely manner (I got married 7÷12÷2014 and should be receiving the photos today or tomorrow). I have already recommended her to everyone that asks for a photographer. Trista will be there for you all day with no complaints. She is truly a friend to me now.

Trista’s partner, Cadence really saved my butt! I was looking for a photographer at the very last minute because the original person I wanted to hire went MIA. Probably my fault for being so lax during the planning process, but in my defense… I was having to plan things remotely. If you’ve done this before– props to you my friend!
I contacted Trista, but she was booked. After a few hours, quietly freaking out in my head, I received another email stating that her partner, Cadence, was free!
The booking process was seamless. After I signed the contract and mailed the initial deposit we were all set to go. I shared photo ideas through a Pinterest board and awaited my big day.
The day of my wedding was pretty hecktic because I was leaving all of the decorating duties to the groomsmen. I had Cadence and her assistant the whole entire day and like the other reviewers, they were ready and willing to help even with anything and everything. I know some of our guests got in the way during some photo opps (especially since it was difficult to get people away from the cocktail reception to take family photos) but Cadence was patient and shrugged it off.
I am anxiously waiting the final product!

I highly recommend Trista to anyone looking for a wedding photographer in the LA area.
She is incredible! We instantly hit it off and she fit right in with our guests. Several people thought she was one of our friends that we’d known for a long time. Trista made us feel comfortable all day. Even my husband who hates having his picture taken had a blast! Her pictures were amazing! The perfect combo of posed and candid. The best!!!

Altar Image Photography by Trista is a gem in the LA area. Jason and I are so pleased with our experience for many reasons:
1.) You will not get the quality of service for the fair price packages she provides.
2.) Trista is extremely responsive and guarantees that you are happy with the style of the photos.
3.) Trista is flexible. I changed the wedding date and forgot to tell her! Obviously, this would have been a HUGE issue but she was extremely patient with me and found a way to make the date work. (I wouldn’t suggest changing the date without telling her but this demonstrates her flexibility)
4.) Trista is a very hard worker– She travelled to 3 locations on wedding day to ensure she captured all the moments. She worked all day and all night behind the scenes and took thousands of photos without me or our guests realizing it. At one point, I told her she didn’t have to stay any longer and she did any way. We had our formal photos and photos that made me re live that day upon seeing them.
5.) I knew Trista was extremely experienced not only when I reviewed her work but also on wedding day when I noticed she was prepared for any wedding day challenge– change of clothes in anticipation of weather change, emergency kit for the bride and ladies, directions ready to go, phone numbers on hand etc.
It was a pleasure working with her!

OMG when you hire Trista you don’t only hire a photographer, you hire a wedding day helping hand! She went above and beyond to help out with getting the guys in order, making sure the flowers were put in water, helping set up, being there longer than we expected. Just everything! The pictures are beautiful and wonderful too! Such a great, friendly, fun photographer! Will be using her again! Her work is great and her presence on a stressful day is such a blessing. Trista was a great photographer for our July 2013 wedding! I chose her because her prices were reasonable for unlimited photos for as long as we wanted her to shoot at the wedding, but I felt that her level of service and the photos she produced were priceless.
I knew that we would be spending all day with the photographer, so it was important to get someone that we felt comfortable with and got along with. Trista is really sweet, friendly, relaxed, and funny so we enjoyed taking photos with her and I genuinely liked having her around all day. It really felt like she cared about us, our photos, and our day, which really made me feel great.
As for the photos, they are all gorgeous! I feel like she really understood the look and feel we wanted from our vintage, simple, not over-​the-​top wedding and photos. She captured the moments from the night and the details from the wedding beautifully. I have gotten tons of compliments on her photos and was so happy to receive over 10 disks of photos from her!
On a sidenote, we got ready at my house and my dogs were running around throughout the day. Trista is a dog lover (another reason she clicked with my (now) husband and me!) and she took some really adorable photos of my dogs in the downtime.

Trista was great! She photographed our wedding; prep time, ceremony, and reception. We chose Trista because of her personality, her unique way of capturing special moments, and the beautiful photos she showed us. Trista was easy to work with and on time! She’s easy going and fun, but very professional. She sent us our digitalis timely and we were very pleased.

Trista went above and beyond the call of duty when it came to our engagement session and wedding day photography. She replied to all of my emails and questions all the time without even blinking an eye. She understood our needs and wants and worked with our schedule like a pro. Our pictures came out beautifully! Everyone at our wedding loved how she made them all feel when taking photos and enjoying the evening. She kept a professional attitude all while keeping the fun of the day to the forefront. I would recommend her for every photo session for all my life events.

Trista did our engagement photos and wedding photos! She was a pleasure to work with. On our wedding day she was with us all day long! The price was great, the photos are fabulous! She gave me a coffee cup with some of our engagement pics on it, that was very sweet! Communicating with her was a breeze, she replied very quickly!
