This park is HUGE! so much to do and see here. This park also has many sculptures on display throughout the whole park. Just a quick jump off the main roads of 120th and I-25 in the city of Northglenn. Its the big park with the small hometown park feel. Theres actually many biking/walking trails that connect other parts of the city to this park, so its an easy bike ride from pretty much any of the surrounding towns. Great place to hang out, bring the family, have a picnic or come to just to chill out. I found this park to be clean, well kept and having a friendly atmosphere.

A beautiful trail-connected park with plenty of lot and neighborhood parking. Huge area, wonderful rocky mountain range views. Only downside of the lake is that geese love it, lots of poop. Leave the sandals at home.

I been going here since I was a kid it’s always adding something new it’s a great park it has two playgrounds a basketball court and a skate park recently added. In the summer it has water coming out the ground on the kids playground a big lake to walk around in plenty of pavilions for parties. It has two parking lots to park in. Overall it’s a great park

Went to this park for the first time today. I have to say, it’s one of the cleanest parks I’ve found in the area.(Just moved here from Utah.) The pond is very pretty, there are lots of ducks and birds, and lots of picnicking areas. The play area for children is huge, and therefore LOUD. Lol. But I think this will be my go-to park for evening jogs.

Has a pond with a large walkabout that goes all the way around, geese and ducks, a kids play area w multi-age structures, skate park, mini boulders to climb on for the kids, a bridge over the pond, and huge picnic areas throughout, with BBQs. In the summer you can rent paddle boats for the pond and there are hot dog and sno-cone vendors. Spring thru Fall is absolutely gorgeous with the greenery, the trees are large and leafy, good for pictures. They also plant many flowers in the springtime, and have various art sculptures placed throughout the park that are replaced seasonally, so there is always new art. There is a hub of bums that hang out near the back of the park, a nice speck of metro culture for you. :) Yeah, I like this park.

Prior to visiting E.B. Raines Park, the only thing that I knew about Northglenn was that it has a Krispy Kreme donut shop. Well, now I know about the park. It is pretty sweet. It comes with a large pond filled with ducks and geese, which are fun for my son to watch. Unfortunately, there are piles of fowl turds all over the lawns. There are also plenty of large, covered picnic sites available for big parties. But the main attraction of this park is the really nice playground. There is an area for big kids and another for little kids. We stayed in the little kid area, which has swings, toadstools, jungle gym, and other things. It is noted as a sensory park, so there are a lot of fun toys that engage children with sound. Zephyr especially loved the large metal drums. I was happy that this park used padded rubber flooring for the playground instead of dirt, woodchips or gravel — I didn’t have to worry about my 11-month old eating the landscaping materials.

I live near by the park and its awesome! Go for walks daily, and the lake is usually well maintained, as in people pick up the inconsiderate garbage carelessly left behind.

This review is specifically for the paddle boat rides at the park. I have been really impressed with EB Raines park. The longer we live in Northglenn the more i appreciate it. EB Raines has just opened a big skate park that seems to have every kid I know excited. However we finally got to use the paddle boats. They were really cheap, I thought $ 4 for ½ hour. My hub took himself and 3 kids out while I watched them from a pavillion. Of course there is nowhere to really go-just paddle out and around the fountain and come back wet. But the kids loved it. They were provided life jackets. The group had no sooner gone out than it began to thunder and sprinkle. Unwilling to be caught on water in the rain, my huband paddled back. the concessionaire gave him a rain check for an additional ½ hour. the guy was helpful and courteous. also, while we were sitting there watchin, the concessionaire got into a paddle boat and paddle out to retrieve a floating coke bottle that had a little girls catterpiller in it, because the little girl had lost her caterpillar and she was crying so hard. such a nice thing to do. the paddle boats are family friendly, bright spots of color on the water, fun to play in, fold fashioned fun to watch, ecologically positive(foot power)-perfect for a day at the park. The employee was pretty nice, too.

I love ebr! They have so much to do. If you are in need of a park some sunny afternoon, this would be my choice. There are always lots of groups and individuals enjoying it. BBQ, picnics, birthday parties, and people just going to the park. Several bike trails, several of which are off-road, come in to the park so it is easy to reach, even for the little riders. There are concerts there in the summer and fireworks on the Fourth of July. They have pavilions for groups and lots of areas to stretch out. There are basketball games frequently underway and skaters and cyclists cruising around the lake. The lake has paddleboats in the summer and people come to fish too. The sculptures around the lake add interest to walking around the lake, it has nice views. My only issue with ebr is that there are people who should take more pride in their park. Even though there are lots of garbage cans throughout the park, there is also lots of trash on the ground and in the water. Come on people, clean up after yourselves! You enjoy the park, take some pride in it.
