Krewe of Baloo

Evidently this is the 6^th annual Mardi Gras event held by the Krewe of Baloo! According to their FB page: The Krewe of Baloo’s mission is to engage a diverse and fun-​loving group of people with music, art, and spectacle while raising money for community-​focused charities in Colorado and Louisiana.
Who doesn’t love a Spectacle?
The event was chock-​full of fun performances from cheesy (but quite talented) card tricks to Burlesque/​Boylesque dancing. Everyone in their best Mardi Gras gear; the patrons were just as entertaining as the performers! True to Mardi Gras tradition, this Krewe was the pall-​bearers for the recently deceased: Whitney Houston.
The bar did not lack — a great selection of beers and the best deal could be found in the Bacardi Hurricane specials — available in Category 4 and Category 5. I’m not a huge fan of Bacardi itself but I AM a huge fan of their support for the Krewe and event w/​these easy-​drinkers at a fantastict price.
I have not had this much fun at a public event since the Cedar Springs Hallowe’en parades in Dallas … and that is saying something!
Can’t wait for the next KoB event as well as next year’s Mardi Gras again! I will be sure to follow this Krewe for more fun and will definitely be going to next year’s MG again!
