Always yummy, cheap. On hot days especially weekends be prepared to wait in line. Only outside seating so I prefer to sit in my car with ac. They take credit card which is nice since most ice cream places don’t around here. Maybe because they are open year round?

No fuss ice cream stand. Has all your standard ice cream flavors plus some seasonal faves. They even have treats for your canine companion. I don’t really get into all the fancy flavors. My favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip so I judge most ice cream places on how much I like this flavor(a simple but effective means of rating, lol). I gave them 4 stars instead of five only because the handels in broadview heights gives you bigger mint chips than this one. Overall really good ice cream… they never disappoint

Homemade ice cream is the standard here. Ice cream is smooth, rich and creamy. Flavors are not overpowering but blend in wonderfully. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. This is not a dine or drive in but well worth the stop. You could go many times and not come close to trying all of their selections. Spoon tastes are free and provided with smiles. They take Visa and Mastercard but NOT American Express. The staff is friendly and the place can be very busy. This is as close to homemade ice cream as it can come and well worth the stop…

Most delicious ice cream ever. Never tried a flavor I didn’t like. The peanut butter sauce is out of this world, I would highly recommend putting it on top!

Randomly drove past this place while on my way to the mechanic. I’ve heard from friends that the ice cream is pretty delicious, so I thought I’d give it a try myself. I got the chocolate raspberry truffle flavor, and I must say… it was awesome! Normally I don’t eat ice cream that often… but I enjoyed every bite of that ice cream. And it’s not like other ice cream shops, where you feel sick by the time you get to the bottom of the cone/cup. I’m glad I made the stop, and I will definitely be getting the chocolate raspberry truffle flavor again!

while Bill Cosby, Tom Cruise, and Rick Santorum are all cuckoo as Cocoa Puffs, they are also noted fans of Handel’s Ice Cream(or at least, Wikipedia says so)…and I must now count myself among this elite posse! a ton of flavors, with a handful of ludicrously-named ones. «Spouse Like a House», «Graham Central Station», «Tin Lizzy», «TWIXter», and a metric buttload more. yeah, after you eat some you’ll weigh a metric buttload! I had a cone of Peanut Butter Parfait. soft, smooth, creamy, and just plain FUCin’ delicious! nice big chunks of peanut butter mixed in. just what I needed on a warm day. it’s affordable too. my dad got pineapple sherbet, and my uncle got a cone of chocolate; total damage for all of us was about 6 bucks. 4-scoop sampler on the menu? how positively decadent! note that it’s not a sit-in place, but there are plenty of seats and benches outside.

OK, they rarely have my favorite flavor, Chocolate Raspberry Truffle anymore, but aside from that, no complaints. High-quality ice cream, friendly service, good prices. Carry out only, a few benches for seating. No restrooms or water fountain(ok, that is a complaint), but McDonald’s is right next-door. Unlike many ice cream places(including some other Handel’s), this place is open year-round.

Just the best Ice Cream in the world. Butter Pecan is my favorite, but all flovors are really good.

After a terrible dinner at The Winking Lizard, we needed something sweet to make everything better. I had the chocoholickchunk, pure chocolate with big chunks of chocolate chips in the ice cream. You could tell this stuff is homemade… amazing ice cream. My wife had the coffee/chocolate chip, again really well executed ice cream. You could actually taste the coffee in the ice cream unlike other places. We also got a 4 scoop Sunday for my father in law. Total cost right under $ 11.
