They messed up my phone so bad and charged me $ 150 to replace the Iphone 6+ screen. Pain in the ass to deal with they are terrible

I was referred here by an apple employee because I had a phone I needed fixed for a trade in. Initially, the service seemed fine. Friendly, timely fix on my iPhone screen. Everything on the phone worked perfectly just the screen needed to be fixed. The cost was not bad either. However, that same night the phone stopped working. After making the effort to drive back up there, I was denied a refund. I emailed their customer service on the website, and no reply. Shopping here for electronic repairs is definitely a risk as they will not be held accountable for the damage they do. I am out of both $ 50 and an iPhone 4 (which wasn’t worth much anyway).

GREAT experience. I was referred to Technoworld by Apple after they turned me away to fix my Iphone as they could not get it done that evening. I needed it to travel for work the next day. I walked into Technoworld within 30 minutes of them closing. I had a broken screen and within 25 minutes they had it repaired and then gave me a discount on a cover. They were extremely helpful and the repair was perfect — as if my phone was never broken!
Thankyou Technoworld! I am brining my sons broken phone in this week!

Great service. I have had some issues after my phone was fixed and I came back twice and they fixed it for free. They are all very knowledgeable and always fix my phone super fast! Love this place!

I took my unit to get fixed by them only to take it home and have it broken again. I paid for the labor, so I called them and asked if there was anything I could do and they basically said I was SOL — to bring it back and it’d be even more money and labor.
What should have I expected? It’s just another one of those goofy stores selling garbage they bought off
for 3000% markup. I should have known better.

absolutely awful! they use 2^nd hand garbage to replace apple products. they guaranteed my ipad and within 2 days it was coming apart. they told me there is nothing they would do about it. never go to this place. the manager would not even call owner to discuss my issue. this place needs to be shut down. do not go there. also, if you let them touch your item. nobody else will clean up their mess after. please advise!

Actually let’s not. Technoworld is a spot that sells phone and tablet cases and fixes screens. This place is is really starting to piss me off. The products are garbage.
I’ve bought 3 cases in a couple months, all which broke immediately in a light fall. The 4^th today cracked and splinted when I dropped it on *a stack of towels. * The whole point of me giving the guy my $ and taking my valuable time to go is for the cases to be protective and not disposable ineffectual trash and maybe look nice too.
Maybe they should call this Shttyworld.

I have never been so displeased with a service as I was today at technoworld. I have brought in my two phones to get fixed for years, only because they keep breaking due to poor service, but I had been getting warrantees. I don’t know what I was thinking, I should have paid the extra money to go someplace else. I came in with the phones today 11-​08-​2014, both which had received new screens 10-​6-​2014 and I was told by the manager without even looking at my phone or my previous history that he wasn’t interested in replacing the screen because it was my fault. The two phones seem to always break at the same time and it is even more interesting that they lie about the quality of products they use to fix your phone. They say that whatever they replace is apple supported and manufactured; however, when you bring your phone to Apple to look at, apple will tell you that they won’t touch your phone because it has been tampered with.
Not only do they lie about the product they use, they are mean and ignorant. The sales/​tech guy got smart and rude with me infront of everybody, customers as well as his manager. I tried talking to his manager who then told me to come back Monday when someone else was in. Really?! You’re the manager and you ant make things right. I asked for my phone back and noted what a waste of my time it was to come here, since my phones’ screens always seem to get loose or the touch stops working. The manager ten ordered the sales/​tech guy to delete me from the system which now cancels my warrantee I might have came back for Monday.
There are so many other better, cheaper, nicer places to go. Don’t be like me and go there because you’re comfortable coming back with warrantees every month. It’s better to get the job right the first time.

The two guys that work here could not have been more helpful when I brought in my son’s phone with cracked screen on the 4^th of July. It wasn’t an easy repair but they didn’t stop until they fixed everything. I can’t thank them enough for being so helpful and kind.

Brought them my cracked iPad Air screen at 530 pm. Was fixed by 845 pm same day. These guys are great!

I can’t speak for the services here, and the reviews seem really mixed in this department, but what I can tell you is that this place has some really cool gadgets for your iPhone and iPad – the biggest collection of cases I remember seeing all in one stop. They have rubber keyboards that fold up and wrap up, and I’m in love with their iPhone player with water filled clear speakers that move to the beat. My kids might have to arm wrestle me for that one. Fun gadgets for kids and grownups alike.
Services: They fix broken glass on iPhones, and this is something we will quite possibly be coming back for.
Worth the stop, even if you just want to get some ideas for taking your electronics to the next level.

i brought my iPhone in to have its screen replaced because glass was coming off and it was nearly impossible to swipe to unlock. Dropped it off and it took under two hours. Really happy with the service and i would definitely go back again to replace my screen (But I hope i won’t have to). Also they are very reasonably priced for their speedy work.

Efficient, reasonably priced, courteous. I find the negative reviews difficult to believe given my experiences but then again this is the Northshore and we will always have a large contingent of whiners who are never content with service, no matter how superior.

This place is awful! I dropped my iPhone, cracked the screen, toolkit here. They said they use all apple parts and will be like new.
I picked up the phone and the screen was a different color, when I press the buttons, it’s like when you press a LCD computer screen where the crystals change. The volume and home buttons are loose.
I took back, they said its never going to be like new again, deal with it!

Horrible, they intentional ruined my iPad. Instead of just replacing the screen on it, they also took the liberty of filing down every single corner of my iPad. When I asked why all my corners now had rough metal exposed, he said so I would scratch myself. What??? Also the screen is coming away from the board. Horrible. They ruined my iPad, now the iCare warranty is void because they went nuts with a drill and ruined the edges.

Broken Apple, PC or Android device, this place is excellent!
