Avalon Northborough

We have just moved into our apartment from an overseas appointment. Scott made the leasing process simple, transparent and efficient. The apartment is spacious, clean and well maintained. A couple of minor work requests were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Cannot speak highly enough of the maintenance crew, in particular Sherman, who was fabulous. Location near to shops combined with great views and amenities made this a no brainer! Looking forward to our time here.

It’s been five years and I cannot emphasize enough how much it has changed and not for the better. I actually miss the old management team! Just as an example, last year they changed my yearly lease to a 10 month lease, and of course, I needed to extend my lease by 2 months before I could actually move, which really should have been part of my original yearly lease I had agreed to. I agree, the maintenance staff is great, but I just don’t think the price to live here is worth it. It took almost a year for them to get their act together and finally set a policy on delinquent dog owners who were leaving dog feces everywhere. (After NUMEROUS resident complaints.) Their new policies regarding pool use is ridiculous, and way to send an update to your residents after having several resident complaints about not informing us readily about guest passes etc. It’s not worth it to live here, ask someone who knows, and has lived here for 5 years.

I simply love our sweet home at avalon Northborough. I was longing to book an apartment for rent since 3 months and got it finally. I like the quick response on service requests and especially the ambience is amazing. It’s pet friendly and also love the idea of trash recycling within the building (only in 14 000) which is very convenient. Glad to reside at avalon.

I am writing this review prior to my move in because thus far this has been the easiest and most professional leasing process I have ever been a part of. My wife and I were tired of looking at properties and going through a difficult and time consuming leasing process we went to Avalon Northborough and our leasing consultant was (Jhennyfer Siqueira) We felt that she went above and beyond explaining all of our questions and showing the community, the leasing process was so easy that before we knew the apartment was ours, We would like to thank Jhennyfer Siqueira for the outstanding service!

Very expensive for what you get. No covered parking. Ground maintenance is lacking. The exit doors to the building I was in would be blocked by snow and it was over a day before anyone shoveled anything after a snow fall. Ice melt buckets were placed at the entrances of buildings and tenants were responsible for dispersing ice melt until grounds keeping would get around to it. $ 500 pet deposit for one cat which took an act of congress to get refunded. No trash pickup and one trash station for the entire property which was overflowing onto the ground most of the time.

Really an amazing place to live. We moved out here from Boston to cut down the commute for our kids to day care. The complex is fantastic, the gym is new and clean and the best part is the responsiveness of the team to fix anything when broken. I have put in work orders for everything from doors off track, broken sink disposals, to halogen light bulbs needing replacement. The crew comes within hours of the submission to fix. They are very considerate and make sure to take off their shoes so as not to track any dirt into our home.
Lastly, the location is great. We literally have Starbucks, BJ’s, Wegmans, Toys R Us in our parking lot.
Really a great place to live while in transition.
