Avalon Marlborough

We moved to Avalon Marlborough January 2016 and enjoy living here. The apartment unit is roomy and offers plenty of space for comfortable living. We are the initial occupants to reside in our unit and it’s nice that everything is brand-​new. We’ve used all community features and amenities except for the pool which will open Memorial Day weekend. The gym has a nice equipment selection and the resident lounge (with free WiFi) is a great place to relax, or host a party. The dog run allows our four-​legged friends to play off leash and also interact with other dogs and pet owners. We’ve used the outdoor grills and fireplace several times. both are very nice. Garbage and recycling chutes are conveniently located on each floor.
There are a few areas that may need attention (hence, 4 stars instead of 5).
1.This is supposed to be a smoke free community, yet on occasion when walking my dogs I have noticed residents/​visitors smoking, or evidence that someone recently smoked.
2. At times, some residents are quite noisy (TV/​stereo volume, talking loudly). Not sure if it’s related to the quality of building construction and poor insulation between units, or if some residents simply don’t care if they’re loud.
3. On windy days (which can occur often) trash accumulates in areas throughout the property, primarily in areas that have corners. The trash usually remains for several days.
I believe management should provide residents more reminders on proper etiquette for apartment living, and frequently police the grounds for offenders and other things that should be addressed.
Regarding property office personnel and maintenance team, our interactions with the staff have been exceptional. The few maintenance requests we’ve submitted were handled quickly and professionally. The maintenance crew is very knowledgeable and offered useful tips. Package acceptance service, email notification, and online rent payment option are nice features.

The apartment community itself is nice and brand new but the office staff can be unwelcoming at times. The girls that work there have a sort of «we are right» mentality and will laugh in your face and be condescending when talking with you. I get the feeling they are super nice to your face but if you need anything actually done they are rude. I have lived at other apartments (Dolben, Windsor) where customer service is top notch and you actually feel welcome so that is what I am basing my experiences on.
I am a reasonable person and I am not easily offended but the front office staff is openly and directly rude and aren’t above laughing at you with their friends. They have the mentality that this is their property and they own it, when in fact they should be focused on helping their residents.
If your looking for a nice place to live with new amenities this place is for you, if your looking to be treated like a person and not a customer maybe do some more research.

We moved into our brand new townhome in November 2015. We have been extremely delighted with our new home. The quality of construction is better than we expected. Through the winter we have had no drafts, and heating bills are lower than we expected. The amenities are terrific, we use the exercise facility almost daily and the staff are great. Very responsive to all questions and needs, which have been few.
Overall, a great place to call home

My wife and I moved from another Apartment complex just down the road from Avalon Marlborough, wow what a difference! the tenants are nicer and I don’t get sense of fake «niceness» like I did with the employees at the other place. The amenities are great, both inside the apartment and outside. They do offer apartments without the stainless and granite upgrades if you’re the type that isn’t concerned with those items.
Tod, Eric, and Paige are the people I’ve dealt with in my short time there (since Oct. ’15) and they have always been accommodating and willing to listen to suggestions about improvements or changes. What more can you ask for?! Avalon Marlborough might not fit into everyone’s budget, but you get what you pay for. Everyone should have Avalon Marlborough on their list of Apartments to look at, you won’t be disappointed!

Been living here since Oct 2015 and we love the community. Avalon takes great care of the community and its very clean. The office and maintenance staff is courteous and efficient. The best thing about the apartments is that there is plenty of storage space.

This is the first time that I’ve lived in an Apartment, so I was a little concerned about privacy, noise, etc… Those concerns went away immediately once I moved in. It’s very quiet here, the Staff goes above and beyond to help out with any questions or concerns. The Maintenance staff is courteous, and come right away when they are needed. It’s a pet friendly community, we even have our own dog park! The pool and grilling area are gorgeous! It’s actually like a retreat, that doesn’t have a check-​out time! There is ample parking, several different entrances. The other tenants are very nice. I haven’t had any negative experiences.
I really don’t have any complaints!

Worry free living at a great price. Avalon takes care of every amenity and is responsive to our needs and quickly remedies any issues we may have. The best at apartment living. You won’t find better.

My brother and I have lived here since May, 2014. We have never experienced such devoted staff members at any other community we have lived in. Management is superb. If you have a problem, they will fix and make your life happy. Maintenance requests are handled efficiently and courteously. All you have to do is enjoy the beautiful buildings, the gym, the pool, and the club room where you can have friends and family over to join for dinner (or whatever) while you cook on the three outdoor grills. And they are open 24 hours a day, except for the pool. You can even watch the big TV in the club room all night! The people who live here are wonderful, friendly and go to bed early. There is no noise in the apartment, day or night. Your mail box is downstairs whenever you want the mail. The interior of the buildings are cleaned regularly. The grounds are beautiful and clean. Have you ever been pampered like this anywhere else? Don’t forget the puppies. I love them all. As the Senior Community Manager, says, «We’re here to make you happy.»

After having been living in Avalon Marlborough for just over a month, I must say that I love it here! Down sizing from my single-​family home (as many other residents, here, have done), I anticipated would be very difficult. In every way possible, the staff at Avalon Marlborough have made for a very smooth transition. The (loft) apartments are sunny, spacious and provide for a significant amount of storage. While it definitely is the case that I’m impressed by the amenities, which include an amazing salt water pool, state-​of-​the-​art gym, club house and dry cleaning service; for me it’s about the people who live here. This place has VERY cool people… particularly dog owners! The grounds are extremely clean and landscaped beautifully. The maintenance crew is professional, friendly and exceedingly efficient. Perhaps most importantly, Avalon staff not only go out of their way to keep residents happy, but also maintain a safe and secure living environment. No regrets here…
