Way behind the times bank. When you call the fraud department you wait 18 minutes to talk with someone.
When you do get someone to talk with finally you tell them you saw a fraudulent charge on your account and they tell you that they were going to call you!!!
When you travel OUT OF STATE you have to let them know you are traveling. How ridiculous, in this day and age people travel many places, not just to Amherst or belchertown. This is the most antiquated bank we have ever worked with. We are going to close our account

I can’t say enough good thinks about FSB. All those other banks out there say that they want to treat you like a person, but FSB actually does. When you call, you get a human being. IMMEDIATELY. That person directs you to the right person for your call. I love this.
Service there has always been great. I lived in the valley years ago, and switched when they had a whole bunch of great incentives, like ATM fees refunded, money just for switching and using direct deposit, and interest on my checking account. Still have all those great features now.
When I left the valley in 2007, I tried to find another local bank like FSB to switch to. I even opened an account. But their service was lousy and their online banking interface was terrible. So I closed it and stayed with FSB. Almost all my banking is done electronically, so I don’t need to be there physically. If I get a live check for deposit, I send it in by mail. So there is zero reason for me to switch.
Don’t mess with perfection!

I have only great things to say about this bank. I’ve been a customer for several years (checking, savings, mortgage) and they have always gone above and beyond. I recently relocated to another part of the country and I’m looking hard for something in my new city that can compare to FSB.
