This store has such bad customer service. The worst location is here. Nobody will help you find things and if they will help you they don’t know where the item is

Only reason the store didn’t receive one star is because of the manager and cashier that helped us. Word of warning, NONE of their blue-​light or clearance items are scanned correctly, ever.

I don’t come often but when I do, I just want to slash my wrists (the long way). They are sooooo slow

Sucks so bad. How are they still in business? It’s a shame because I grew up with K-​Mart…

ATTENTION Kmart Shoppers! This is very important that you read this: Please be aware that when you park and go inside shopping at this Kmart, the Miami-​Dade county Uniform parking workers patrol this parking lot, driving up and down the parking isles writing CITATION on your vehicle for anything from expired tags, no license plate, and running your car tags for any violation they can find! Understand this is not the police officers doing this but the «security looking» cars writing tickets. They have the right to do this. I personally spoke with the Kmart manager and told him of this. How many customers would shop here if they knew this was going on while you are inside the store shopping you can be written a CITATION. I am warning all of you because I do not think this is fair or right! I personally got a CITATION for an expired tag. I was parked in the Kmart parking lot shopping and when I came out, to my surprise I had a CITATION on my vehicle. After further researching and speaking with the manager and hearing from other customers that have gotten tickets while shopping in this Kmart. It’s not worth shopping at this Kmart since they are allowed and constantly patrol this parking lot. You have been warned, SHOP with Caution.

Significant delays at the cash register. Last night, I had to leave my items at the register when after significant wait I was told to move to another line when they closed the register. There was no attempt to prioritize those customers at the front of the line. I will be staying away.

This store has the worst customer service. Check the prices before you get to the register. They say one price and ring up another. The store has good stuff and is big and spacious. To bad the the employees are not properly trained.

I like this store but there are somethings that could be better. I’ve been at this store countless times as it’s so close to where we stay at my aunt’s home in Miami.
There are a good 15 check out lines but only two were open today. There are some decent sales on some things but many everyday items look to be more expensive than say Walmart.
There’s plenty of parking at this store, there’s an auto service center on the 108^th street side.
There doesn’t seem to be as many customers in this store than the Target north on Biscayne but for us, it’s in a convenient location.

The store is decently clean and organized but for some reason I always have bad luck when I buy something from here. It has always been defective or broken or missing pieces. One time it was a balance, the other time was a 5 piece bed set. I no longer buy things that I might rub the risk of having to return. Just things I’m going to use immediately like food.

I like the store and the prices are good, however the employees are rude and they seem lost on what their doing no one knows where the items are so you have to look thru every isle.

When you first come in everything looks organized. Don’t be fooled, every other aisle except where the clothes is it’s very disorganized. I came by on Thanksgiving (I forgot to get the French fried Onions for my green bean casserole) they only had the small ones and it said .59 so I grabbed 5. I get home and realized rack was $ 2.49. I used credit and they don’t have the prices on display, the cashier only asked if I wanted to make a donation. I came today to return the 3 I didn’t use.
Only 3 people @ customer service for 9 of us at the moment. 1 woman also was wronged on her purchase. When I got to the desk they were all getting involved. The woman who was suppose to take care of me told me to go to the woman taking care of the woman who was wronged. Then she leaves me there waiting while getting involved with them. Looks at the simple thing I brought and tells me some girl who just walked in will take care of me.
THEN she also gets involved with the other 2. Is being asked from a cashier for a penny, leaves me there again. Finally comes back to me, some random girl comes asking for a manager saying she is looking for something and not getting help, apparently there’s just 1 person in the back.
I was here for an hour, 45 minutes were just for them to give me my money back. Don’t waste your time here. Target isn’t too far from here.

KMart like all huge stores suffers from many of the same problems big business all share.
This KMart seems to be slightly larger than most and really conveniently located only a few blocks from my business.
It’s also seems to be unusually slow for a store that size. I mean super slow. Almost makes me sad.
I will say the employees of this particular kmart are much nicer than most and are usually more than willing to help me locate items.
I would really recommend checking out the garden area. The staff in garden is very helpful and nice.

Employees are entirely unhelpful. Their systems are miserable. No prices on anything and I stood for 10 minutes waiting for the ONE cashier to get back from getting cash. What do other stores do?! This should not be an issue. Close the register. Absurd.

This kmart is the nicest kmart! It’s going through some changes right now, moving some departments around. They have a manager always there up front to help you so the lines aren’t as long as they used to be in the past.
There are a lot of older comments from 2009 – 2011 that are probably true to what this Kmart used to be, but youstep inside the store you’ll see how untruemuch of it is now. No retail store is perfect, but people are nice and helpful. The store is generally kept clean. sometimes during peak hours people make more messes than anyone can keep up with but the employees really do a good job.
If you need something out of stock they can order it now, plus sign up for the membership, its free «Shop your way rewards», you get freebies, coupons, and special prices. Just bought a spiral note-​book for $ 0.20!
They don’t have a grocery department that sells produce or meat but you can still buy food. Way better than Wal Mart, a lot better product, and cheaper than Target! Again my favorite Kmart.

The employees are loud, no helpful but than again there’s barely no employee to even help out. I was in the store today that’s all I saw some really loud screaming employees and they didn’t help me find the things I needed. The store was really hot also and just a total mess today.
I will never go here again

Unhelpful employees. The store is often messy. The prices for certain items I find a bit pricey over the edge. Huge parking lot and free. I only come here in an emergency.

Has layaway no exceptions. Is nice a quiet like we like it. Is cheap. On the other hand worse customer service and the slowest workers around its ridiculous.

Weird, it’s as if I went into another Kmart than the one others have mentioned, because the place was clean, very well-​organized, and the staff was very friendly. Hmmm…
I went yesterday for the first time, and had a pleasant experience. There was an entire section of the store dedicated to shoes, unlike other Kmart stores that don’t have much of a selection, and everything was clearly labeled. They had sexy Sofia Vergara stilettos, leather and fur boots, and classy Jaclyn Smith pumps. They had a cute junior’s section, which had Selena Gomez’s clothing line (I did not even know she had one!), and a section dedicated to scrubs for those who work in a medical setting, as well as the typical men’s, boy’s, women’s, and plus section. I did not see the Kardashian clothing line though, and I thought it was exclusive to Kmart/​Sears. The parking lot of this store is huge, and there are people of all income levels shopping here. The store itself is huge.
The lines were not too bad, but I suspect that it’s because it was 3 p.m. on a Tuesday. They ought to have more than 2 registers open though. It’s definitely much more organized, cleaner, and less chaotic than the Walmart on 163^rd though, and the people are not nearly as trashy. Maybe the people giving such bad reviews have not spent nearly as much time as I have at Walmart to realize that this store is not bad at all and take it for granted. Trust me guys, you don’t know what you have till it’s gone. Go to Walmart a few times and you’ll see what I mean. In fact, I am hoping to come here more often and save myself the trip to Walmart, as not only is it a bit far, but trashy.

I don’t have the heart to give this place only 1 star as the 3 people who’ve reviewed this K-​Mart before me have done, but wow, what a dump!
Seriously, the first time I came here, I thought they must be remodeling because everything was in a shambles, there were large parts of the store that were just random, open space where they had no shelves or displays at all, the shelving they did have looked like it was pretty beaten up, almost like they brought it here used from another store, and the stock at this K-​Mart was sketchy at best.
That was about 2 years ago. At the time, as mentioned, I thought they were simply remodeling the place and working on some improvements or upgrades and that’s why it looked so cluttered and disorganized. However, I returned here again recently when I happened to be going past the place and needed an item I thought they might have. I went into the store, and it hasn’t improved at all! It’s the most ghetto, shameful looking K-​Mart store I’ve ever seen! Seriously, it’s such a hot mess that the only reason I knew it was a K-​Mart was because of the signage out front and their signature red «K» on some of the signage inside the store. Apart from that, this place looks nothing like any other K-​Mart store I’ve ever been to!

This store is always dirty and the lines are always too long. The times I have gone, it was because I saw a really good deal in their ads. When I show up for these deals, I have about a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance of them actually having it in stock. Thankfully, it’s right by Busy Bee, so sometimes while I’m waiting for my car to be cleaned, I’ll head in to Kmart.
One thing that really bugs me is how long the lines are. I always see employees walking around the store, putting things back on shelves, replacing plastic bags at registers, etc. Basically, things that can be done when the store is dead or closed to customers. Instead, they do this in the middle of the afternoon to early evening on weekends, when the store is busiest. I’m always waiting in line at this place.
