Once again, out to eat with my omnivorous family as the vegan. Got my usual italian dish: Penne in Marinara with Broccoli and Sun-dried Tomatos. The flavor and portion was AMAZING. Perfect amount of garlic and tons of broccoli and tomatoes. The food was SO fresh. The only drawback is the length of cooking time however, you know this food was prepared perfectly for you. My dad got a massive portion of Chicken Parmesan that came with a side order of spaghetti. The spaghetti alone was enough to be a meal for someone! My mom loved her Rigatoni Bolognese with ricotta on top. The pasta was cooked properly and there was a perfect amount of sauce. My mom wants you to know that their food is worth the wait. I would be glad to return! Highlights: Portion size, flavor, freshness Lowlights: Cooking time Overall, I did not want to revoke a star(despite slower service) because the price is good and my family loves this place.

When this place first opened it was really good and the service was great. I catered food from them several times. Since they’ve opened up their second location, this location has suffered. The food quality has gone down tremendously. I recently ordered two calzones, a single buffalo chicken slice and a salad. I was told(on the phone) it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived at the 20 minute mark and was told the salad wasn’t ready. Another 20 minutes later, still no salad. When asked, I was told that I arrived early and that there was only one person making salads. It wasn’t that busy and how long does it take to throw lettuce in a plastic bowl? The other person behind the counter confirmed that the order was called in 40 minutes earlier. The calzones are LOADED(and I mean loaded) with Mozzarella cheese and hardly any Ricotta. It makes it tough to eat that way. Service-wise, this is my second visit that has taken a long time to get the food. Most of the«boys» working behind the counter don’t really care about service and would rather BS and argue with each other than serve the customers. It doesn’t seem like there is anyone there that is responsible enough to take charge. It seems like once the owner opened up the second location and sent less time here, this one went down. Sorry Crostini, moving on to another pizza place — and there are plenty in the area to choose from. I had hoped that you would have been better than this. It didn’t take long for you to start your decline.

Just had the most disgusting plain cheese pie from there!!! The crust was burnt, yet the dough was undercooked and sticking to the bottom of the box. While the cheese topping had slid across to one side of the pizza! If my kids weren’t starving I would have sent it back, but instead I put it in the oven and fixed it the best I could!

I’ve tried crostini’s numerous times and I really don’t see what all the hype is. I would save your money and go somewhere else. The food in general is mediocre. Very soggy and small portions. Pass.

First time sitting down for dimner dinner service. And it was less then average. Pizza was ordered as well as entrees. The server brought out the pizza 10 minutes before the entrees came out. The salads came out with the entrees. The glasses where always empty. I asked for water, and never got it. I had to ask for napkins, even though mine was clearly in need of replacement. The food was awesome. As always

So this is a review of two online orders… one week apart. Last Monday we ordered online from the restaurants website. We were given a delivery wait time of 1 hour 15 minutes. At an hour and a half I called the restaurant and was told the order was delayed because they missed the online order. The food was now ready for delivery but the driver was out delivering other people’s food. I was told I would have to wait. Well the food came an half hour later with an apology. I suggested to the manager Alex that he could have called to let me know about the delay. He agreed. Tonight we placed the exact same order. This time I called the restaurant to confirm they received the online order. The food arrived on time this week. However the side of pasta came without sauce. Our order did not read no sauce. Our order last week came with sauce. When I called the restaurant I spoke to the manager Alex again. He blamed me and said I didn’t request sauce. I placed the same order last week and they gave us sauce then. Alex just kept repeating that I made a mistake. He said he doesn’t want my business and he needs new customers. I asked to speak with the owner and he told me the owner was not there and he didn’t know when the owner would be there. He repeatedly said that he needs new customers. I think maybe they need a manager who cares about the customers he currently has. He needs to appreciate the people who visit or order from the business he manages. I will not go back to this restaurant or order from them again. All please consider yourself warned. Owner… please pay attention to how your manager Alex represents you… you are losing business.

We’ve been here a few times because it is walking distance from home. Pizza is ordinary and overpriced. Dining Room has uneven service(turnover). Menu is way too large with too many items. Cooking staff clearly can’t handle Italian food. I mean where else does your risotto come from a mold? I’ll still come on occasion for a takeout pizza when I’m too lazy to drive elsewhere, but the Dining Room is off the list. Were it not for it’s convenient location, this would only get 1 star.

I don’t understand how this place has only 3 stars. The food(large portion) was fantastic! Get the tortellini carbonara! Creamy, bacon, amazing. The garlic bread was excellent. My fiancé is gluten free and almost everything on the menu has a gluten free option. I only wish this restaurant was located in New Mexico.

We ordered a hero, a pasta dish, hot wings and a antipasto for 2. It was delivered timely and was hot. The hero was ordered as a breaded chicken cutlet with tomato, mayo and melted provolone. What we got was grilled chicken with tomato and house dressing. The pasta ordered was supposed to be a pesto sauce but was really a greasy mess with not much basil. The wings have some type of breading on them and they don’t seem to be cooked enough… not good. The wing sauce was spicy and way better than the wings they covered. The hot antipasto was not good and smothered in greasy sauce.

Food very tasty, and portions very nice size. Price was right! Meat sauce probably the best I have ever eaten in a restaurant. We stumbled upon this place from a few towns over and will definitely revisit!

I live in the neighborhood and wish wish wish that this was a great pizzeria. Sadly it is not. The food is good sometimes and eh other times. Until I discovered other pizzerias in the area I must’ve been here 50 times and on zero occasions did the guys at the counter recognize me as a regular customer. I’m not looking for recognition for bringing regular customer but perhaps some sort of «hey thanks for coming back». The owner has moments where he’s friendly but overall he doesn’t foster a culture that encourages his people to really care about their customers. Average food + disappointing customer service = I’d rather drive to Umberto’s in Wantagh or Mario’s which is about a mile south on Broadway.

Worst counter people I have ever experienced. From what I witnessed they gave some guy the wrong pizza. When he got home he called, they wouldn’t deliver him his pizza and told him while I was standing there they won’t credit his credit card unless he brings back the pizza. Then they openly talked about this customer in front of other customers. Not sure what they were thinking. It was obvious the owner was nowhere to be found. They showed the few of us standing there how they really feel about their customers. After seeing that I won’t go back.

The Sicilian slices are better than the regular slices, but they are still«just okay»… My husband happens to be a bigger fan than I am… I find their food it a bit too salty for my liking. There are plenty of other pizzerias in the area that are much better. It’s a shame because I wanted to like this place!

A lot of gluten free Options. The problem is that the gluten free dishes don’t taste good. The pasta dishes are always over cooked and the chicken dishes are so tough that it is hard to cut. It’s nice to find a Italian place that has so many options if your gluten free just wish the food was good. I give an extra star for accommodating the gluten free community.

Crostini is somewhat popular for locals. Friendly and food is fresh. Very friendly staff. Fast, efficient.. busy place. Hero’s were hot big so don’t think share, Sicilian pizza is good, sauce has good flavor.

BEWARECOCKROACHES! I ordered a salad to go. I got home and started to eat and low and behold a goddamn coach in my salad. I was so disgusted and creeped out. I threw it outside trash immediately. Easy the most disgusting experience in my life. BEWARE

There are almost 14 pizza places in a half mile radius around and somehow they thrive yet only 2 dry cleaners. I live in the area for about 5 years. Prior I lived in Garden City where we had 14 dry cleaners and two pizza places. Lol. I have tried many of the places around here. I can not speak for every dish, but the sicilian pizza is the best you can get without going to Brooklyn DUMBO or NYC. A note, they tend to be doughy which is how I like my Sicilian. However if you like yours less doughy it is simply a matter of a bit more cooking. If you ask them, they will cook it a bit more for you. I can’t review any other dishes as I go here just for the sicilian pie. As for those that say there are«variations», I have found that to be true on Fri, And Sat nights when they are packed in the restaurant and on pies to go. They are swamped.(Says something right there). But other than Fri and Sat night, you will find consistency. YES it will be doughy. Simple: You can always toss it in and Cook it a but more. Once it is more«crusty» you can’t undo the crusty and make it doughy without doing another pie. If you are getting a whole sicilian pie, ask for it doughy or crusty and that is how it will be cooked.

I was in the area looking for a pizzeria when this place came up. I Ordered a few slices of pizza and the avocado salad to go. The avocado salad was just fantastic. What a great surprise! There was mozzarella, slivered almonds, tomatoes, and avocado — with a vinegarette dressing. Next time though I will ask for extra dressing. The white pizza had just the right amount of ricotta, garlic and mozzarella. The veggie slice I got was just a little soggy, so I only ate the toppings off of it and not the crust. I’m giving 4 stars for prompt service and the avocado salad. My friend and I had a satisfying lunch! If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely come back. Next time, I will try the fried calamari.

Good sauce… great chicken rolls. Had other things like the pizza and chicken parm hero, both were Ok… but the chicken rolls are what keeps me coming back. Try it! Friendly guys behind the pizza counter. Enjoyable experience.

Looks like Crostini’s is great for takeout… but they seemingly can’t handle the casual dine-in it offers. We went around 7:30 on Wednesday night(the day before Thanksgiving — pretty big pizza night) and the counter was packed but the dining room pretty empty. We waited about 10 min while they«prepared» a table of 5… I couldn’t actually figure out why we had to wait 10 min for an empty table. Our order was taking pretty quickly — HUGE menu with lots of yummy options(in addition to the pizza). By the time we ordered there were about 4 – 5 other medium sized tables. Some of our meals came with a salad and it took about 20 min or so to get the salads. We waited about 35 min for the food and the waitstaff seemed a little confused(kept coming over to tell us our food would be out in a minute, and it wasn’t). I got grilled chicken with broccoli rabe — it was good, but kind of bland. I had to add some salt and parmesan cheese. I’m used to Phil’s grilled chicken w/broccoli rabe which is just oozing with flavor… garlic, lemon, etc. The bill was pretty cheap, but I definitely won’ return here for a quick sit-down dinner.
