Rd’s Custom Cakes and Cupcakes

I first found out about RD’s Cakes when my wife threw me a surprise party with a very nice customized cake and Star Wars cupcakes. It just happened that I was myself already looking for a nice cake place with good reviews as I was helping plan a surprise baby shower for my wife a week later. The few places I had found in Broward and Dade were quite expensive and had bad reviews for their customer service.
When I tasted the cake and cupcakes at my birthday party I immediately knew where I was going to order the baby shower cake. Both the cake and cupcakes were delicious and bursting with flavors of chocolate, raspberry, coconut and vanilla and were a great hit overall.
For the baby shower, Mellisa, the owner worked with me and my budget so I could really get the cake I wanted and a box of beautiful cupcakes. The experience was amazing and I have no words to express how professional and dedicated she was throughout the whole process, from ordering the cake, choosing the design, the flavors, the payment process, all the way to the delivery. Mellisa was extremely committed to making my experience outstanding and even changed the figurine on the cake to something I liked better right at the last minute in spite of my initial choice. For the cake I had chosen vanilla and lemon cake flavors with mango cream cheese fillings, strawberry buttercream and fondant while the cupcakes were chocolate and lemon cupcakes with raspberry cream cheese and buttercream with chocolate elephants and owls on top.
The customer service was just beyond outstanding and needless to say the cake and cupcakes were a tremendous success.
RD’s Cakes is a gem and if you have never tried their cakes you are missing out.
