Nevada State Bank – Craig and Clayton Branch

Really disappointed with NSB as a whole but mostly with Irene. She contacted me today to tell me that my account was overdrawn. I had closed my card with the fraud dept weeks prior but they never cancelled the card — thank god I had proof of the call. She told me she would immediately close the card since it had been lost or stolen. While on the phone with corporate for an hour at the end of the call Irene still had not closed the card so corporate had to do it for her. In a day when a lot of fraudulent activity is happening that is unacceptable. The situation makes me think that NSB has people working for them that are not looking at accounts as if it had been their own. Irene also informed me that they would not reverse any of the fees even if the charges had been reversed which is also ridiculous when this was not my fault BUT corporate told me that is not the case and put the actual request in for me. Bad information that is clearly not true on Irene’s part. I’m still waiting for the fees to be reversed after 12am tonight but when fees can be reversed in circumstances like mine, I shouldn’t be told a bank isn’t going to work with me and shame on Irene for not trying.
