Encompass Care

I tranferred to Encompass Care and Dr Bazemore in November. 2015. I cannot express how kind and professional he and his staff are. I have had serveral appointments with them and have never been dissappointed with either the care or customer service. Dr Bazemore has always been spot on in my diagnosis. I also have to mention his medical assistant Rubyani. From the minute I walk thru the door I get the most amazing greeting from her. She makes sure I have no long delays in appointment times and handles all business in a professional and courteous manner. In closing I have nothing but kind words to say about this clinic and only hope to continue with them for years to come. Keep up the good work

I have used this service for a year now and am not impressed. One visit I was told I could not get my cholesterol prescription for no more than 3 months. When I asked the front desk why they stated it is policy because the doctor needs to see me every 3 months. I have always gotten the prescription on every visit to include my last visit for 6 months. The last visit I called in to make an appointment and they ask why I needed the appointment. I told them and they gave me my appointment. When I arrived at the office, the front desk informed me they couldn’t do everything I had scheduled because my insurance would not pay for so many things being done at one time (prescription renewal, lab work, and removing a small sunspot on my arm). The doctor told me to schedule the appointment for the sunspot/​mole removal on my last visit. The front desk also said they would have to have pre approval from my insurance to do this. I asked why they hadn’t called and could they now call to get it. They told me no, my insurance wouldn’t do that the day of the appointment. I asked them if this was true, that my insurance company told them I scheduled too many things for one appointment and second, they needed approval prior to my visit and the girl said yes. When I arrived home I called my insurance company and they informed me no one called them about anything and they prefer I schedule as many things as possible at one time to save office visits costs. I called the office back and the girl would not come to the phone. Looking for a new office. If I can’t get truthful information from my doctors office, I need a new office. What a very unprofessional front desk. Thank goodness I have dual and great insurance and also that I am healthy, except cholesterol, and have time for finding a new doctor. I did file a complaint with my insurance also.

I gave them $ 50 for an urgent care visit per my insurance plan. 10 minutes later, «I’m sorry sir, we have a $ 5 urgent walk-​in fee i didn’t tell you about.» (Like the hundreds of dollars they made off my cadilac insurance program wasn’t enough. Really, $ 5 is going to make that big difference in your budget) Not to mention the fact, I had to walk to cvs Pharamacy to get change because they didn’t have a $ 10 bill to give me. Expect surprises and a bit of derp (call it what ya want). After you get past the door, it’s about the same as anywhere else. Standard urgent care. Bazemore is a good Dr. There is nothing better than a DR who listens. It’s the reason my wife and I come back when we need medical care. I see some people getting mad at the fact they don’t call you back regarding anything. Don’t expect them to. It is an urgent care center. They don’t do call backs and they claim they don’t to protect your information.

I have been a patient at this clinic for several months. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. B is easy to talk to and he knows his stuff. I have nothing but good things to say about this clinic. I live near the clinic and am glad to find a doctor I like in the neighborhood. I’ve never had difficulty being seen either by appointment or as a walk-​in.

I walked in and was informed they no longer see patients after 5pm… It was 5:03, and there were two other people sitting in the waiting room. The girl at the front desk had a very unapologetic, crappy attitude about this, and an unkempt, unprofessional appearance to go along with it. P. s. Their hours are listed on their website, Unilocal,and their door as being open until 6pm. Not the way to get business. I’ll take myself, my family, and my insurance elsewhere, thanks.

Around 8pm Saturday I called and asked her if they were still open and that I couldn’t make it to an E.R. She told me she would have someone call me bacc. I never got a call talk about HEARTLESS! I DO NOT recommend this «Urgent Care».

My wife and I have both been patients of Encompass Care for quite some time and have only good things to say about them. If you have no insurance, bad insurance or challenging insurance, they always treat you with dignity, respect and care. Dr. Bazemore is a progressive and compassionate physician that treats patients as human beings in a system that still struggles to find its way. This office offers urgent care services, primary care services, weight management, age management, in house x rays, in house blood draws, work physicals and telemedicine for reduced rates. They even give you access to your health profile and records online for no additional charge. On top of that, you barely wait even if you are a walk in. Go there and decide for yourself. You won’t regret it.

If there’s a negative star, I’d rather give that. I took my mom at this money making, insensitive, hole in the wall clinic to get her stitched up. What did they tell us when we went there to seek «urgent» care?!? Come back in 2 hours because we have to close down. Really??? You called yourselves an urgent care clinic? What school did you all go to? You must not know what the word «urgent» means. IF YOU NEED URGENT CARE, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE AS ALL THEY CARE IS YOUR MONEY. They could careless if you’re about to bleed to death. Like the previous reviewer, they will charge you $ 5 if you don’t have an appointment. Maybe I should bring these guys a dictionary or introduce them to Google. They do not know what URGENT means. Again, save your precious time and go elsewhere, somewhere where they actually care about your wellness. Spread the word!

It is Thursday and I called Monday at 9:10 and got the answering service they’re supposed be able to nine and no one called me by 10 am. I called at 10:30 and was put on hold for like seven minutes. So I hung up. Still have not received a call back. The website I found and that is more about ads and according to the reviews below more about money and not helping people who are ill.

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS CLINIC. Last week my ill and handicap mother came here for medical attention. She had Medicare however, because she had a small outstanding balance they would not serve her. They weren’t concerned on how ill she was, THEY WANTED PAYMENT! On a side note I thought was interesting was they taped on the door and near the front desk that you will be charged a $ 5.00 fee for not having an appointment. Isn’t this an «Urgent Care clinic» not a doctors office? I’m not sure if this is «A bait and switch» tactic or «let me nickel and dime you» to death scheme. Another side note to the nurses. If your hand can fit thru your earring hoops, they are probably too big. Tie your hair up or back, no dangly earrings and press your clothes. It just looks professional. I have posted this comment to my facebook community and we will return to our original urgent care clinic where it’s professional and we are valued.

This office will do all they can to scam you out of as much $$ as possible. The unprofessional staff will lie & continually tell you different stories to get more $$ out of you & will keep your medical records & test results from you unless you pay it! Whatever the cost they tell you will be up front– go ahead & assume it’s at least 3 times that amount. The front desk staff is rude & clueless. The doctor is good & the male nurse is very kind & good at his job. It’s too bad the prices are a scam.
