We are all about using play, exploration, & caregiver modeling to teach a love of music & basic music competency (singing in tune/matching pitch & keeping a steady beat) using music from around the world AND created by Music Together developers to provide young ears with a rich variety of tonalities & rhythms. Every child is musical, and music learning supports ALL learning. Grownups have fun & are challenged, too; plus it’s an opportunity to set aside 45 minutes to focus on just one thing: making music with one’s children in a community of families doing the same!
Private beginning guitar & ukulele lessons offered by Deborah Dietrich in West Toluca Lake.
History
Established in 2011.
Valley Cat Music was created by Deborah Dietrich in June of 2011 and was once a combination of Del Rey Music Together in the Marina (now Marina Music Together) and Sunshine Music in the Valley, which started offering the classic Music Together program in 2009. Valley Cat Music now focuses its work of providing excellent music & movement classes in the Valley communities between Burbank and Encino.
