Great construction company with excellent Custumer service. Tip top is a company with grade a custom residential construction. Highly recommended by Behinyan’s inc.

Buyers please be very careful with this company and the sales people. They subcontract and use unlicensed contractors for the job. Work not done to quality, poor finishes, spent more money out of my pocket because the company will not cover many things. Contract for my bathroom was 9,000 spent over 14,000 after the work was done. What the owner always says that they did not make any money out of the contract. For example they did not pay for all counter tops for the bathroom and they told me that I chose expensive tiles so I have to cover part of the cost. This particular contractor that they gave the job to was a con man. Always asking me for money and even wanted to do more things in the house that I did not need. I have to get a plumber to my house to fix all the leakages and worse of all I was getting cold water when I turn on the hot water faucet. The company did not care that much. I have to spent more money to redo many things over. Please PAY ATTENTION to all the reviews for this company before using them. The sales people will sweet talk you to sign the contract and after that you will not see them again. I will be writing to BBB about this company. I will NEVER recommend this company for those who want quality work in their home. If I had read the reviews I wouldn’t have chosen them and I will be redoing my bathroom early next year. Such an incredibly poor quality of work they do.

We used them as part of a $ 49 design & consultation deal. At first the PM was very professional and on time as he listened to our exterior renovation wish list. He was very knowledgeable in terms of sketching a draft design using his laptop and creating a mock up of our vision. After we were complete, he promised he would deliver me the drawings and official quote so we can move forward with finalizing our different price options. Let’s just say months have gone by with constant follow ups with the PM and back office only promising me they will send it to me soon and that they were super busy.
I was very patient, however it came to a point that their delay diminished my trust in them, and I was at a point I just wanted to get my $ 49 dollar refund and move on (since they never delivered any drawings or written price). The request for refund, lead to more weeks of follow up with their back office yielding more frustration by promising they would call me back, or that they already sent a check (which I never received).
Its also frustrating when businesses run these deals and they can’t keep up with the demand and at the end it hurts the members and their reputation.

–Their back office is very unorganized (lack of follow up or accountability)
–Lack of honesty. If the job was not enough for them to make a lot of profit on, just be honest and I’ll get another bid. I felt like no matter how interested we were with with the PM on the plans, he put our project on the back burner.
Reading the other reviews on Unilocal,I could see (based on my experience with them) how irresponsible they can be when you sign the bid and give them all that money. I wish that those who have had to deal with them have somehow recovered their loses and that this provides future warning for anyone who would consider this company for any future contractor work.

We have been without a kitchen since June, and here it is the middle of November!
Our difficulties with this company began almost immediately after signing a contract for them to do a complete kitchen remodel. They consistently refused to accept responsibility for their poor workmanship. On several occasions we were forced to call in outside contractors to confirm material and workmanship flaws and/​or to repair damage done by their workers.
There were many «bait and switch» attempts to extract money from us beyond what was agreed to in the contract. At one point, we were asked to pay for material and labor that was not added to the contract. None of our out-​of-​pocket expenses have been reimbursed.
We also found out that the electricians who accidentally drilled a hole into our sewer pipe reported it to their boss but were told not to mention it to us, but to just wait to see if it would leak!
Much of the work that was done in our kitchen is substandard and does not meet what is in the contract. We are currently attempting to get the company to reimburse us so we can start all over again.

Buyer beware. Workers who did demolition and tiling were very good. Make sure you understand contract. As the project went on I found that the way contract was written meant I was spending out of pocket for items that I felt should have been part of contract. Example, I wanted pocket doors for ¾ bathroom. Contract said «install pocket doors». Well that meant I had to purchase them, they only would install them. The new sink and mirror were new but cheap. I felt I had to spend to much out of pocket in addition to what I contracted with company. I will not use them again. It took several inspections for electrical work in bathroom to pass.

I just had the most unprofessional experience with this company. After they spent time pursuing me through MANY phone calls, emailing etc I decided to give them an opportunity to bid the project. Jeannette contacted me last week to schedule and confirm. She also contacted me this am to CONFIRM and spent a half hour telling how wonderful the designer she was sending was! I drove an hour one way to meet him for the 10:00 — 10:30 am appointment which I was there 10 minutes before!!! Even with her confirming THIS MORNING the wonderful designer did not show. Ok so things happen but guess what– Jeannette now has not answered the phone and its now NOON… First impressions… good luck if you actually are misfortunate enough to book a job with them if they will not even answer a phone call when they flaked on an initial consultation appointment!!! I know my time was wasted today but thankful they showed there true colors early in the process. New appointment schedule with another contractor tomorrow!!! TIP TOP FLAKES

My STRONG ADVICE — Stay clear of this company.
My mother hired them to repair a large canopy over the rear of her yard and pool. It was almost a $ 5000 project that today — 16 months later — needs repair. It appears that they failed to adequately secure the front of several large roof panels, and now they are curling up! During the construction, they took shortcuts and failed to do some work they had committed to during the bidding.
So — if you fail to heed my advice and opt to go with this company, be aware that the contract must be CLEAR and SPECIFIC as to each aspect of the project you want done, and how (down to the kind of boards). For instance, they were using a 2×4 when a 4×4 was called for — as an example. While they promised to replace a long board with rot in it, they only filled and painted it. Bottom line: not in writing = will not be done. Do NOT rely on promises! Period!!!
I have called the company four (4) times in the last 2 weeks — speaking three times with Jeanette (very pleasant, but she failed miserably in getting my calls for help returned). When I called the 4^th time, I asked for a manager and got Nick (not sure of his position). He listened, apologized for their failure to respond to my mother, and committed to making sure my mom was contacted promptly and they would go there to see what had to be done.
A week has passed since my discussion with Nick. No call has been made to my mother. She has an answering machine on ²⁴⁄₇.
Four contacts (actually speaking with employees) — and not one telephone call made to my mother! That is totally inexcusable! God forbid she actually agreed to have them do the repairs (out of warranty by the way — their warranty is one year). I can only imagine the nightmare getting them to actually do the work — and do it right! Maybe it is a good thing that they did NOT respond. Now we can find a GOOD company to fix their apparent sub-​standard work!
I have dealt with contractors most of my life for various home projects. In that extensive experience, none have ever been so unresponsive. I am livid over this total experience. I hope you do not experience the same.

Tip top completed our $ 35,000 kitchen remodel. I want everyone to know what to expect when working with Tip-​top Builders. The communication was horrible. We stated everything we wanted in the beginning with Eli who quoted us on the project. Later on during the project, some things we said from the beginning were suddenly never discussed and they wanted to raise the price on us. We had to tell them over and over again the same things. We ended up dealing with the owner most of the time because our project manager was never there and things weren’t getting done. The owner Leor has to be the most arrogant person. He made sure to tell me may times that they underbid the project and that he was losing money. That was definitely not my problem. He says he is the best contractor ever and that I didn’t agree because I hadn’t worked with bad contractors before.
My advice is to make sure EVERYTHING… I mean EVERYTHING that you want is written into that contract. They will hold it over your head if its not written down. And there were things written in the contract that they didn’t do and made me compromise later on to make up for it. The work that was done was not top quality. There were a lot of things that needed to be redone and fixed. I think I got what I paid for on our «underbid» project.
The final slap was when they promised me soft close cabinets. He said they do that for all their kitchens. The drawers were all soft-​close but the doors were not. When I asked why they weren’t soft close he told me that it was only the drawers, not the doors. How can you do soft close drawers but have slamming doors? We ended up having to buy dampers and installing ourself. He wanted me to buy the parts and then charge $ 250 to install. They were supposed to be included. Don’t trust them.
DON’T trust what they say and make sure every detail is written down. Or just steer clear and find someone else to work with.

Ronald I had the same type of prank calls from them!!! I had them come out for a bid in July for a house remodel I was doing. I do architecture for a living and have dealt with many contracting firms and builders. I decided not to use them for my large remodel. Soon after I told them I was not going to use them, I was getting solicitation calls from them every few weeks about work I may need done. They must sell names to a very unethical telemarketing service. If it is truely them making the calls even worse.
Its now Feb. and I am still getting calls. I had gotten very angry with them and said take me off their call list at least 30 times. This last time they called I was furious. They kept egging me on and trying to tell me I could win a trip to San Francisco if I did 2 grand in work with them. They would not take no for an answer. I finally hung up. They called me 3 more times in the same day and would pretend to be a tile company, a flooring company and another all laughing in the background. I finally called the main office and complained. The woman Gina I spoke with really didn’t want to hear my story, but took my number down. Well, today I got another call from them! Apparently I will have to pay to block their calls! OMG What kind of company is this! I am so thankful I had the sense to not hire them for the job. BUT BE WARNED. Don’t even get a bid. You will be harrassed if you don’t use them.

Worst customer server ever. They had cancelled the original appointment last minute and had the audacity to aggressively push to show up the following week when I specifically told them I am only going to accept bids for this week. If you can’t show up for an appointment what makes me think you are going to finish the job.
Monday came around and they blew up my phone insisting on showing up when I selected a bid already.
Tuesday rolled around, somebody else called can rudely hung up on me once I told them I have selected a bid and the start date has been set.
