Cute & quaint yoga studio. Super cozy and always a great class. I was browsing on groupon for my next yoga venture in noho. I’ve been practicing hot bikram yoga for a couple of years but I was in search of something not as intense, more about the stretch and restorative, calm and zin like yoga. I like how they have blankets for knee and hip support.
Jessica the owner is great. Very bright and knows her stuff. I let her in on my problem areas and she was super helpful in advising me what stretches works best for them.
I would absolutely recommend this spot. It’s great!

Cozy yoga studio in a quiet plaza. I purchased the 2 week unlimited pass for $ 20 and so far I’ve tried the Express Flow and Candlelight Vinyasa Flow. Both were great and the teachers, including the owner Jessica, were all very knowledgeable. I like that the studio is smaller because you never feel lost in a sea of mats and arms in your face which allows you to focus on your practice. I love that Soul Shack has been partnering with the coffee shop, Moby’s, next door so you can get a free coffee token with some classes before noon. If you’re not into the 2 week pass they have reasonable pricing on single classes ($ 8-​$ 15). I’m really happy I gave this studio a chance.

So far, so great! I bought 5 classes on Groupon and each class I’ve attended has been solid. Faye in particular is a gem.

On weekends, I expand my ClassPass radius so I can experience new yoga studios and new yoga teachers. I think I read about The Soul Shack studio but I read A LOT so I couldn’t tell you where.
I booked a Hatha class with Keith. There was only one other yogi in the class – it could’ve been totally awkward. But it wasn’t.
I really value the tiny cues and slight corrections of more attentive yoga. I feel like if I learned one new thing – or a gained new perspective for something I already knew – it was absolutely worth my time. Because this was such an ultra-​small class, I got to practice my headstand with some individual instruction (and no fear of falling over on other students) and that was my ~worth it~ moment.
The Soul Shack isn’t terribly close to my home base (if you factor in TRAFFIC) but I would definitely recommend it.

Alrighty Unilocalers, I’m about to let you in on a BIG secret. Part of me wants to keep this place to myself, but this place DESERVES the raving review I am about to give them.
About 4 months ago I bought a groupon for 5 classes at this place. I had tried yoga before, but went to a studio that had a cold environment and the teachers belittled you in class, needless to say I was VERY nervous to begin classes here, but I loved the concept of yoga and the way I felt afterwards that I decided to give it a go. BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE. Jessica and her sister Mandy own this small studio and they are the most welcoming and friendly people ever. Although Mandy doesn’t teach any of the classes she does attend quite a few. Jessica’s style of teaching is awesome. In fact ALL of the teachers at this studio are so talented and really focus on the fact that yoga is YOUR own practice and give you lots of instruction without being over bearing.
This studio has no mirrors and this isn’t by accident. After talking with Jessica she mentioned that she didn’t like the idea of mirrors because in her experience once there are mirrors, competition isn’t too far behind. She stressed that she liked having small classes where people could feel comfortable in their own skin. This studio really feels like a family.
I have taken close to every class with just about every instructor and ALL of the classes are great in their own way. Every teacher is welcoming, warm and encouraging. During shavassanah some of the teachers even wave aromatherapy over you while you are resting.
Anyone interested in going to the best studio, do NOT pass over this small gem. Take my words and just try it out, I guarantee you will be hooked!!! I cannot say enough good things about this studio and encourage you to stop in. After my 5 sessions were up, I began the monthly unlimited package. I bet you will contemplate doing the same :-)

I’ve taken a couple of yoga classes before a few years back (I was tricked into doing Bikrim… I try not to think about it too much), so I consider myself a Yoga newbie still. I took the Yoga for Back Pain with Jessica with my fiancé and cousins and it was great!
The neighborhood is up-​and-​coming and is very quiet when i came (7:00pm on Monday). The studio itself is cozy and intimate, though admittedly, I don’t have very much experience inside Yoga studios.
I got the 2 week pass for $ 20 and can’t wait to go back! They also have a $ 10 drop-​in pass if you want to try it out. Can’t wait to go back for more classes!

As a studio owner it was refreshing to drop into a place to flow on vacation that all about the practice and community. The vibe was welcoming and the instructor is fantastic. If your looking to feed your soul, this place is it!

I actually really liked this class, but the location was scary. Literally a smoke shop next door and gross guys sitting outside smoking and staring at you as you walk in. unfortunately in a bad neighborhood because the studio itself and teacher were pretty decent.

This is an amazing yoga studio!
After doing tons of research on different studios in my area I decided to go with Soul Shack. I purchased the 2 week unlimited pass for $ 20.
I am already 1−½ weeks in and I am totally impressed, and so happy I went with this studio!
The customer service is amazing. I am always greeted when I arrive for class and the girls who run the studio are super sweet! As some of you may know, I am huge on good customer service and Soul Shack goes above and beyond.
The teachers are extremely knowledgeable and take the time to discreetly help newbies, like myself, with proper form. Which I appreciate so much, since its my goal to become advanced in yoga one day.
The class packages are VERY affordable in comparison to other studios in the area and I will definitely be signing on for their Unlimited Monthly Membership once my 2 week pass expires.
Parking: I’ve had NO problems with parking. There are plenty of spaces and each time I attend I get a spot in the parking lot.
Overall, I love this studio! I even got my fiances attention with how much I’ve been enjoying my classes. He also plans to attend with me in the upcoming weeks. Since joining I’m getting very flexible, more toned and feeling so at peace after each of my classes. Which is the perfect workout in my eyes!
I recommend this Yoga Studio to everyone!

LOVE THIS PLACE! The owner Jessica is extremely kindhearted and runs a studio that focuses on the students and giving back to the community.
The studio is very clean and plenty of parking is available nearby.
I have been doing yoga on and off for various years now but what makes this place truly remarkable are the instructors, the class sizes, and the ambience.
I love that the instructors are hands-​on correcting my body position and offering me new challenges to take on. If you have any injuries advise them and they will quickly provide you with alternative positions. I have a bad knee and this can be problematic but the guides are very accomidating.
The various classes offered challenge my body and mind but don’t make me feel intimidated because the instructors cheer me on and help me into the positions.
Every time that I walk out of class my body and mind walk out in harmony, my body feels revitalized and my mind feels tranquil.
I have been to plenty of yoga studios that are intimidating but this one really makes me feel at ease.

I love the Soul Shack. Great people, great vibes, solid, personalized yoga instruction. Took a class last week with Katy, and she was my favorite so far, although I haven’t had anything but great experiences with all the instructors. Brought my friend who’s a beginner, and she loved it, too. I’ll definitely be buying a package for the new year. Wish everybody knew about this great place!

Peaceful, cozy and full of positive vibes. Is like you own private yoga class, you’ll fall in love the minute you step in. Their prices are so unexpensive and the instructors are amazing. Ask for their class packages they are such a great deal!

I know the owners. Just based on that alone this place has just the right ambiance for the perfect spiritual, mental and physical Yoga experience. Get ready to positively transform your body and mind .! Soul Shack is definitely the place to do so. If you haven’t been ask yourself what are you waiting for.

Oh my gosh, I don’t even know where to begin! Soul Shack has opened me up to yoga in so many beautiful new ways. I know I’m not the only one whose once felt reluctant in trying yoga. Some studios can feel intimidating and/​or disconnecting as an experience– but not Soul Shack. From the moment I walked into the studio, I felt instantly at home. The space, the instructors, and the overall community made me want to keep coming back. So I did! I feel like a part of the family now and Jess, the owner & instructor, is absolutely fabulous. The prices are extremely affordable AND is right next door to Moby, a delicious coffee shop (you should get the iced dirty chai!!!). I love that the classes are all very different but yet cater to every single level. I’m not even kidding when I say that I learn something new every time I take class. I recommend taking one of Janet’s power flow classes if you’re searching for a bit of a sweat:) There’s also sound bath classes!!! MUST TAKE. I have yet to take a workshop but I’m 100% certain that I’ll fall in love with whichever one I decide to take. Definitely love and recommend this studio, my home:)

Love coming here! Cute and cozy. All of the teachers have been great. The classes are small enough that you can easily get modifications for any pose.
