Jimmy’s Burgers

Been eating at jimmys for 22 years now and if you want a big juicy charbroiled Burger this is definitely a spot worth checking out!

The drive is so worth it because they have the best burgers in town! The meat is well cooked and their fries are delicious. The staff is nice and helpful.

I used to be a huge fan of this place. 15 years ago when I first moved to the area my hubby and I would eat here all the time. Throughout the years you could see the upkeep start to decline and its cleanliness questionable. Nonetheless, we continued to dine. Last week I found myself having to take the bus while my car was in the shop so to avoid the chill of the morning, I came in for a nice hot cup of coffee. There was a freshly brewed pot but instead of pouring my coffee the guy at the counter went to the back. As I waited, I tuned around and saw my bus approach. Before I ran out, I let the guy at the counter know that I’d be back for my coffee the next morning and ran out to catch the bus. Once I got to work, I called to ensure my message was heard. Jose said he would be happy to help and to just come by. The next couple of days they opened after 7am and I was unable to get my drink. No big deal, I’ll stop in when I can. This morning I made a point to come in to grab my cup of joe. This time there was a lady at the counter. I smiled and greeted her with a hello, but she seemed to be in a bad mood. I explained how I ran out without getting my coffee and to my surprise she said that she couldn’t give me a coffee and that she doesn’t honor that sort of refund. I asked her if she was kidding and if I could see the manager. When she explained that she was the owner, I thought how rude, inappropriate and inconsiderate and told her I’d never be back there again. As I walked out she yelled back that there are plenty of off her customers and I won’t make a difference. What a bitch!!! True my coffee cost a mere $ 2.57 but it’s the principle of the matter. I’d give them a negative star for customer service if I could.

The dishes they serve here are fantastic and the people there are awsome so I would recommend espically the chili cheese fries and the breakfast burrito.

OMG. THE BEST joint for a quick burger, really big and good big fries. the chicken strips loooook amazing big fat crispy. menu big people happy. all locals so go in sneakers and jeans. you can see the kitchen is VERY CLEAN although you eye might not think that with the visual of the restaurant. don’t worry it’s just an old place and the kitchen is the most important clean are you need.
you must try this place even if you get it to go. really good pop’s place.

Simply Amazing! Im not from LA but found it in Unilocal Truly Amazing Burgers and can see the guy they call «Pops» takes time to care for his Customers. Great place!

This is my go to joint for burgers during, before, and after work. They have the best burgers and sandwiches. Their Orangebang is amazing!!! Especially after drinking!!!

They have the best cheeseburgers. Not something you can eat often but once in a while as a cheat meal is totally worth the calories. They’re usually packed so I would recommend calling ahead for the to go orders. Chilly cheese burger must try.

I love Jimmys! They have the best burgers. My favorite is the Avocado Burger. I love the breakfast burrito too. The staff is super friendly and food doesn’t take long at all. The place is small and can get cramped but it’s worth it.

We came here because DANIEL’S Tacos was closed. So glad we did! Food is delicious and prices are unheard of :)

Jimmy’s is the best burger place, this side of the valley.
The staff is kind and attentive and they make their food fresh– forget In-​N-​Out, Jimmy’s is the SPOT!!!
They have the best fries and even have Seasoned Salt for your enjoyment. Soda is always fizzy and cold and your cheese is always melted perfectly.
Bun is toasty and burger is juicy!

Favorite place of all time, hidden gem in the city of North Hollywood.
Great food for great prices.
Try the New York stake dinner.

The cash only gimmick is ridiculous. Join the 21^st century quit being cheap and accept plastic. You’re crazy if you think I’m carrying cash in this neighborhood and putting an atm that’ll charge me 5 bucks to get money is stupid. Call me when you accept plastic.

Okay so months ago I moved to an apartment right next to Jimmy’s and I must disclose that at first I disregarded Jimmy’s as a just another dingy, run-​down burger spot 3 months left for its foreclosure just by its look.

I got their bacon burg with cheese, and dude, it’s unreal.
like it’s fricking heavenly. The patty is grilled perfectly and just. everything is so perfect. I don’t know why. It’s such a basic burger, but it’s so good. Dude. Good.

Came here to eat and it was really Good!!! I had the Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger and it was delicious.
The restaurant is very friendly. Neat and great to eat out with family or in a date. They offer Mexican food, burgers, hot dog, breakfast. etc. But again. I came for burgers and I was not disappointed.
Give this place a chance!

Jimmys burgers is the best burger spot! I’ve been coming here for years and love it! Very friendly staff, owner is nice guy always greets you with a smile. I highly recommend the chili cheese fries, bacon burger and Tuna sandwich. I also love the chicken dinner! The best thing is the ranch I think it’s homemade and taste amazing. If you like spicy foods ask them to add green salsa to your burgers!
Only bad thing is that they don’t have other locations, but I’m willing to drive from reseda 40 min drive it’s worth it !

Great combo prices and okay quality makes for an easy visit any time you want to indulge in some burgers and fries.
Their double cheeseburger is good – not great – but will leave you satisfied nonetheless. The fries are the old school, box-​cut style, which I enjoy.

On my lunch break, I usually call in and pick up their cheeseburger combo. Sometimes I also like getting their chili cheese fries which comes in a small or a large size. Cheeseburger is basic, nothing fancy, but better than a fast food burger. Chili cheese fries are cheesy, greasy, clogged artery yumminess.
Their menu is pretty extensive with burgers, salads, breakfast burritos, breakfast items, hot dogs, sandwiches, shakes, and the list goes on and on.
Jimmy, the owner, is always somewhat friendly and it’s CASH ONLY.

I’m always excited to check out hole-​in-​the-​wall local burger joints. I drive by here all the time, but finally got to check it out. This place reminds me of an old-​school burger spot that you would find in the 80s and it doesn’t look like they did any re-​modeling.
Food:
1) Double Bacon Avocado Burger — the burger was pretty good. It’s one of those burgers you can get anywhere and the portions are pretty big. Nothing fancy about the ingredients. Just a standard good-​tasting burger at an affordable price
2) Chili Cheese Fries — I would’ve given this place 4 stars, but I had to knock it down one star because my chili cheese fries came out cold. Specifically, the chili was barely warm. It ruined my meal. It started off well with the burger, but my dining experience quickly deteriorated with the side dish.
