Our newly remodeled facility is in a gated and secure location, so you feel safe leaving your vehicle with us. We have a clean waiting room with windows that look into the shop that provides for a relaxing environment. We repair all imported and domestic vehicles. They honor extended warranty repairs, and have a one year warranty on all repairs performed. They’re definitely the cost-​effective alternative to car dealership servicing for all scheduled maintenance. Regardless of where it was built, they’ll service your vehicle and still maintain the manufacturer’s warranty. History

Established in 1986.

When David was a kid in high school he dreamed about owning his own auto repair shop one day. He got a part-​time job at a gas station when he was a teenager, which only fueled his dream. After he graduated high school he moved to Los Angeles and got his first full-​time job as a mechanic with European Motors in Studio City. Studio City Motors hired him away from European Motors and promoted him to Sr. Smog & Repair Technician where he spent the next four years fine-​tuning his mechanical skills. In 1986 he was driving up Lankershim Blvd. to buy a used engine for a Volvo wagon that he had recently purchased, when he saw a «For Rent» sign that was displayed on the front of a vacant auto repair shop. It was that fateful day back in August of 1986 that he decided to finally turn his life-​long dream of owning an auto repair shop into reality. Business Owner

David has over 39 years experience in the auto repair & auto body industry. Unlike some auto shops out there, he takes a very personalized and hands-​on approach to running his business to insure that his staff and he provide customers with the best customer service possible. You can find him in the shop on a day-​to-​day basis handling anything from check engine drive-​ability electrical problems, to writing collision estimates, to test-​driving a car that’s just been worked on. Because David truly cares and takes pride in the work that he and his crew perform, customers continue to come back to to High Tech Automotive Center year after year.
