Did the same exact job for half the price of the Mercedes dealer. Had my VGS replaced for my 2006 e350 Mercedes transmission and got it back the next day. Honest and reliable mechanic.

Came in and reset my transmissions not my Mercedes ml 350 in less than one hour, 300 dollars cheaper than any other place great help and Serj was very friendly.

I have a 2000 Mercedes ML320 with 155K miles. The tranny was slipping a little bit and a mechanic in Valencia told me the fluid was dirty so I had it changed along with all the filters. When I went to pick up the vehicle, the mechanic told me that now the fluid was new, it was thinner and the tranny may act different. Well it did act different, it was ten times worse and I was now thinking that I had to sell the car, but I still had to resolve the tranny problem with the least amount of cash out of my pocket before anyone would buy it. So I go on Unilocal and find several highly rated Transmission shops. Arminco specializes in Mercedes, BMW and Jags. I call them up and ask if they offer financing and they said that if I need tranny work that there will be several options of repair and not to worry about it until the car has been inspected. So I drive down to their shop and they wire in their computer diagnostic computer and it does a complete check of the transmission. It reads that mechanically, the transmission is working fine. Arminco then checks my fluid level and its two and a half quarts low out of eight quarts total. They add the fluid needed, take it out for a test drive and the car shifts perfectly. Arminco could have taken me for a financial ride and told me that I needed tranny work but they didn’t. They are honest. Total cost was $ 20.
THESE GUYS ROCK!!! If ever I need tranny work in the future, Arminco will get my business as well as all my referrals for my friends and clients.

Amazing work done on my car. My 335i with over 100K miles started giving problems. As he checked my car and read the codes, he gave me two options of rebuilding the entire transmission or partially repairing what is causing it. After getting both prices, I checked few other places. Besides the fact that their prices were much higher, they were only giving me the option to get it fully rebuilt.
Being original owner and planning on keeping the car for years to come, I decided to have him rebuilt it. During the couple days my car was there I went there few times and checked how it was being done.
Every single part of the transmission was disassembled and being worked on !!!
I can say that the work got done as promised and the price was fair.

Hello my name is bijanand I have a 2006 e350 Mercedes Benz first of all I just want to say this is my first time even using Unilocal and I wouldn’t have done so unless I truly felt as I will express below I went to arminco transmission in North Hollywood yesterday to get my transmission fixed the people and manager there are so nice and polite and friendly he immediately took the time out to test my cars error codes and shortly concluded that it was a specific problem and he was 99 percent sure that he can fix what he found as he did he not only fix mycar perfectly within 3 hours which is amazing considering last time I got one of my cars fixed it took 2 to 3 weeks but he also somehow made my car run better than it did before the issues that I had next time you have an issue with your Mercedes we definitely won’t be disappointedived and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone before Mercedes we didn’t want to spend a fortune to fix it please take a try with this guy next time you have an issue with your Mercedes we definitely won’t be disappointed

I got my ml320 Mercedes Benz with a transmission problem that no one knew how to fix I heard of arminco transmission from a mechanic that works at Mercedes Benz he said this is the place if they can’t fix it no One can and after I read all the Unilocal comments I decided to give it a shot I towed my car to arminco transmission got a call the next day saying my car is fixed I can’t believe it awesome place and very affordable

Superb service at Arminco! My 2007 VW beetle had a huge transmission problem. Dealership wanted $ 6,000 to fix it. I found Arminco and trusted the other reviews they had on Unilocal.And I am so glad I did. Serg and Henry were so informative of my car and the issues. They gave me an incredible price, $ 1,800. AND it only took them a day to fix it. They also give a 12 month warranty, and told me to bring it back in a few weeks just to do a check up. Serg also filmed the car being worked on so I could see exactly what they did to it. Talk about incredible customer service. I am so thrilled I took my car to them. All around perfect service and the car is running better than I ever remembered. Blown away by my experience with them! Thank you Arminco!

I have a 2007 C230 that had a common issue with the transmission (valve body, speed sensors, etc.). The problem where the engine light is on and the car goes into a limp mode and won’t shift out of a low gear. You can turn the car off and reset it to drive normally but eventually it stick permanently. Any mechanic you take it to will tell you it needs to go to the dealership because Mercedes won’t sell them the parts. The dealership is 2x what ARMINCO charges.
I took it in after talking with Henry and it was ready the next day. They go over and above to make sure you’re comfortable and also give a 1 yr 12,000 mile warranty.
Go here with über confidence — these guys are a rare breed!

So you’ve come to the conclusion you need a new transmission and you are LESS than excited to drop almost $ 2000 on a new tranny. Yes, its unfortunate but let me assure you you have now found the place to take your car. Henry and Serj are the real deal when it comes to getting the job done. These guys are SUPER nice, very knowledgeable and have the best price in town — trust me, I called a LOT of people. Don’t even waste your time calling anyone else, you’ve found the guys to take your car to. I’ve only driven it about 20 miles and so far so very good. The shift points are like butter and there are zero moans and groans. I go back in 3000 miles for a look over and will GLADLY add the fifth star if all is sorted as well as it is then as it is now!

I have a Mercedes C230 that started having transmission issues while flying down the 101. Not cool. So I pulled off the freeway and looked for the nearest transmission repair shop, and Arminco comes up first. Luckily I was only about a mile away. I called and explained what was going on, they seemed to know almost immediately that it was a faulty speed sensor as its a very common problem for Mercedes (side note to Mercedes: get that shit fixed!!!) and the valve body would need to be replaced. Serj showed me all the error codes for my car on his computer. I really appreciated his honesty and transparency. His prices are fair and he works very quickly. My car was done in less than 24 hours. He offers a free 1 year warranty on his work for peace of mind, pretty rare for an indy mechanic! Thanks Serj!

I have a 2005 SL 500 that started having transmission issues. I took it to the dealer and first they kept my car for 2 days and charged me $ 250 to tell me what I already knew, which was I had a transmission issue. They then told me I need to spend close to $ 8000 to get a new transmission. I was referred by a friend to ARMINCO. I called and Serjik answered and the next morning I had my car in his shop for diagnostic. He did a full diagnostic in addition to driving the car. He recommended that I fix the internals of the transmission, but keep the original housing. I felt confident in his recommendation and within 3 days I had my car fixed. I paid 25% of what the dealer wanted to charge me and my car runs like NEW! If you have any transmission issues don’t think just go directly to ARMINCO and let Serjik take care of your car.

I brought my Land Rover Lr3 for a complete transmission overhaul because the transmission was totally gone!
The dealer charged me for a new transmission $ 7000 and That was a lot money!!!
A friend of my told me to call Arminco Transmission because he had really good experience with them.
I called them and talked with the owner on the phone Serjik Zargarian.
He told me to come in with the car, so he could see what is wrong with it.
The next day I came in, he checked the car and told me that the transmission had to be replaced and gave me a really good price!!!
He was way cheaper then de Dealer!
So I left the car at his shop and the car was ready and fixed in 3 days already!!!
Now the Landrover Lr3 drives fantastic again like a new car!

This shop is great and Serj the owner is very honest and upfront. I have a Range Rover that needed the transmission replaced. We had taken our RR to a shops prior to Arminco Transmission and $ 1700 later they returned our RR the same way we took it in NOT WORKING! Everywhere we went to compare prices we were getting charge an arm and a leg. Serj had our car ready sooner than expected and running in great condition. If you want someone honest to work on your car I would not trust anyone else, but Serj at Arminco Transmission.

I would never leave a review for anything but a restaurant but this place really left me with a strong impression. There aren’t enough good words to describe Serj, the owner, and his stand-​up work. He is very passionate about what he does and treats his customers like family. He is highly experienced and is dealer licensed.
I took in my Benz that was having obvious transmission problems to a couple different transmission shops and was quoted $ 5k+ everytime. You have got to be kidding me… So my dad recalled we took one of our cars to Serj awhile back and he did a great job so we decided to give him a shot. He diagnosed the issue within 5 minuntes (radiator and transmission issue) and was able to replace BOTH for just under $ 2k.and that’s not even the best part… he is so confident in his work he includes 1-​year warranty on his tranny’s.
In addition, I dropped off the car to him Wednesday morning and the car was ready to go Thursday morning. He sent me videos and pictures through text during the whole process so I could see what he was doing. Mind you… everywhere else I took the car was quoting me at least 2 weeks.
This is absolutely the only place I’ll be taking my cars for tranny work in the future.

I own a 2004 Mercedes ML 350 when I went to the dealer they said the control unit had A transmission problem they said it would cost $ 5000 to repair. I am very lucky I have a friend that referred me to Arminco Transmission. I met the owner Serj who happened to be very friendly and you did a free test drive which saves me $ 80 which I wouldn’t pay to the dealer. He immediately noticed what was wrong and he suggested that repairing the car would be required immediately! So I did with that offer of $ 1800 I couldn’t resist! The job required a few hours and they even went through the trouble of taking me home of taking me home. I got a call when it was ready I have never been happier in my car runs like brand-​new! He also gave me a one-​year warranty which not many shops offered. I gave it a four out of five because of the inflexible hours but that’s just me.

this is a terrific shop! henry profoundly understood my transmission, the cause of the failure on my 2000 xj8 jaguar, and how to rebuild with the updated drum. additionally, they were the lowest quote. the ZF transmission was built with a defectively designed drum, apparently not severe enough for a recall, however. these last 40k-​80k miles MAX! (and rebuilding with an oem part has the same lifespan.) henry has rebuilt 100 of these, all with the updated part… he showed me the difference between the two, with no failures. further, his $ 1800 quote rebuilt my 42k transmission (not a core swap), and he honored the quote. by comparison, other quotes: galpin ($ 6k with jaguar core swap), a jaguar shop ($ 4200), my usual transmission shop ($ 2400) — not sure which use the better parts, though. plus, arminco included a 12k mile /​12month warranty. the car drives better than new, thank you, henry! i will definitely be recommending them to any jaguar (or bmw or mercedes or range rover) owners.

The owner, Serj, has replaced 2 transmissions for me and each time, the price was amazing and the work was top notch. I have been driving my 1991 300E transmission rebuild for $ 1500(Everyone else wanted $ 3000) for 3 years without a problem. Serj just saved my 1999 Odyssey by rebuilding my transmission for $ 1400 that included replacing 2 bad transmission mounts. It feels like a new car and has never run better. MERCEDES or HONDA, I doubt the dealers could give you a better job. I like Serj because he prides himself on his work and being the best transmission guy around.
