Holiday Inn Express & Suites North Conway

Staff very friendly and helpful. However the hotel rooms are basic. It’s winter and the AC was set at 50 in our room. Didn’t understand why initially but once we turned it off the temp in the room went from 72 to 76 quickly. We had to put the AC back on to keep temp at 72. It was very warm and uncomfortable. Friends of ours stayed over the same night and had same issues with temp in her room. Pool is small but great for the kids.

This Hotel started With the AC didn’t work, then there Wifi was down the room was dirty and smelled musty. Nice location but for the price wasn’t worth it. Will stay somewhere else next visit.

My boyfriend and I were at your hotel this past week (Tuesday-​Friday). The front desk staff were personable and very helpful! (thank you for the salt and pepper shakers)!!
The room was clean with the exception of the coffee pot … It hadn’t been cleaned from previous guests! But a little wash and all was good! :)
Let me prelude this next statement with the fact that I work in a hotel… For not having a full service dining area your breakfast was awesome! I particularly had a great time with the pancake machine! :)
Fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, eggs, bacon, sausage, cinnamon rolls, assorted breads, English muffins and bagels! And everything that was supposed to be hot… WAS! Kudos!!!
Knowing that the breakfast was complimentary (obviously included in the room price) it was worth it!
The wifi kept kicking us off but patience is a virtue… Sign in again and your all set! :)

This is a very solid 4.5 start review. I travel a lot for business and have stayed at several hundred hotel and this was one was at the top of the list. In this case I was traveling with my family for a short ski vacation.
First, the front desk folks were outstanding. I booked two rooms (family of 6) and they noticed the rooms were not together and asked if I wanted adjoining rooms. Since they were close together it was not important as one of the rooms would have had a king size bed and we wanted/​needed two queen beds in each room. The woman checking us in then make sure they keys for each room were different colors so the kids would not mix them up. May seem like a minor point but I really appreciated it.
The pool was outstanding. The hot tub as hot and the pool was warm. We were lucky that the hotel was not busy so we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Rooms were big and comfortable. The beds and especially the pillows were perfect. The breakfast was solid. I really liked the fact that they served milk from a local dairy farm (just a plug to do the same for the yogurt).
Front desk folks always made a point to say hello (or goodbye) depending if we were entering or leaving. Again may seem small but we enjoyed it.
My only complaint was having to log into the wifi every time a device powered down.
For the price they charge you would be crazy not to consider staying here.

Excellent service! Very very friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. Great location but above all service is fantastic. I would recommend it above most hotels in the Conway area. Also it’s on the main highway but set back so you don’t feel like you’re on the highway.

Not a bad place. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and our stay went well. It was relatively quiet when we were there, not a lot of guests as it was off-​season. One minor gripe is that they use that silly fusion hotspot wifi which is free, but dumps you out frequently and requires you to endlessly enter a cryptic user name and password. Not awful, but annoying. There are no DVD players in the rooms, which was a bit of a hassle with the kids. The pool and hot tub are nice and the free breakfast buffet while not fancy, had good fresh tasting food and plenty of it. Overall not a bad experience.

Very annoyed right off the bat. Within minutes if being in our room tonight we got a call from the front desk about a noise complaint — the term «herd of elephants» was rudely used. Not sure what happened, we apologized but then we also heard noise in the hallway. We received a second phone call from the front desk, again about a noise complaint from the people below us. At this point, we were all in bed. We continued to hear noise in the hallway throughout the night (we had a room directly across from the elevator… ugh). We have stayed at the Hampton Inn and Marriott on the same road without incident so we will not be coming back here. I just signed up for Unilocal because if this hotel.

This was a great hotel. The staff was exceptionally polite and accommodating. Everyone from the front desk staff, to housekeeping, to the breakfast staff, all were extremely pleasant. The rooms are all updated, clean, and very comfortable, and I am very fussy. And there was a mini-​fridge in the room– obviously they’ve purchased some since the last review two years ago.
The location was ideal, close to everything. We are most definitely going to stay here again.

Not a child friendly hotel. Pool restriction at 9:30pm. Very poor building construction. Stay 2 days and got multiple complaints regard noise level. Very disappointed and will stay away from this hotel.

The rooms are fine, the breakfast buffet good, but the hotel seems to cater to hockey tournaments.
Loud, boisterous, taking over the one common area as if it was their own private function room (during my stay, they threw a pizza party for about 50 people there). This didn’t leave any place for the other patrons to gather and talk, and the staff didn’t move to stop this.
There were hockey players present during my last stay as well — the hotel staff had to quiet them down.
In short, if you are looking to get a good nights sleep and a little quiet, you might look elsewhere.
BTW — the free WiFi is a pain in the neck — it keeps logging you out.

Usaully I stay at the Comfort Inn down the street. This is very similar but does not have mini golf outside. The Holiday Inn was clean and the people working there were very polite and friendly. The rooms were good but did not have a minifridge inside. There is a small glassed in indoor pool on the left end of the hotel. The hotel is located right across from the outlets and next to McDonalds and CVS. You could walk to many places from there.
The breakfast buffet had eggs, biscuits, sausage, bananas, yogurt, bagels, etc. and was open from 6:30 to 9:30am.
