I wish I could give less than 1 star. We just left Bruster’s and had the WORST experience. The sides of the business is not lit and the sidewalks are uneven, and my little one fell. Terribly skinned both knees, arm, and chin. Me and my husband had to ask several times to get napkins and water to help clean all the blood off and were told to wait by the extremely rude woman named Kim. No compassion, no empathy, and as a military family– the little discount going there isn’t worth that kind of attitude and behavior.

I love this place. I am a child at heart and they have my favorite cotton candy ice cream. They do a military discount which is always a plus for those who serve!

Very creamy and delicious. Waffle cone was so tasty too. Cake batter had a little hint of flavor but I liked it more than vanilla. Can’t wait to go back and try other flavors.

This my favorite ice cream place in South Carolina. I like that they rotate the flavors and you are not stuck with the same flavors all year round. Customer service is always fantastic. We have bought a pretty good amount of ice cream cake. For the size and the value, it’s pretty inexpensive. Also their ice cream cakes are the most favorite in my circle.

The ice cream would be great if they actually sold Ice cream, really this place is a huge f-ck up. I suppose they have teens running this place and a teen for a manager/boss because they are forever out of ice cream flavors and Topping’s. I mean how hard is it to place orders in for ice cream to be shipped to their company, umm I suppose it’s a hard task! So that’s my reason to believe they should hire some people that can place simple orders for their business. I will say that when they do have ice cream in the ice-creamless shop it is good, but whom can enjoy when the ice-creamless shop never has ice cream to order? So yeah I call this place the«Ice cream less shop» because they are forever out of ice cream. Just go to «Cold Stone» that’s down the street, they run their company a lot better, or hell just go to cookout right next door from it and get a shake. They always have flavors. If you want ice cream from this ice cream-less place in a flavor that you desire you’d probably have to wake up at about 8am on random 1st of the month and just then you may have about a 3 percent chance out of 100 to get lucky if they have what is supposed to be sold there.

The ice cream and prices are great! I think the ice cream is very fair priced especially for the large portions. Its also very delicious. The only problem ia that when we showed up there were 2 people inside and only one of them was helping us… a party of 9! It was really obnoxious waiting in 95 degree weather while he very slowly making a cone at a time. He also cleaned up the area after each order instead of just completely finishing then cleaning up. I would go back but not with a group. Since there is no seating inside it was a long wait and the people who got their ice cream first had theirs melting all over their hands while waiting in the hot sun. We had to walk over to Starbucks next door and wash our hands before leaving. Also had to throw alot away because of the wait and melting.

This place is great! Love the options for ice cream and think their cake and pie creations are adorable! Also appreciate that when we have gone with our pup we were immediately offered a cup of vanilla as a little treat for our dog. Overall my only complaint would be if you need to use the facilities you have to pop over to cookout or Starbucks. But other than that they’ve got lots of different ice cream flavors and an open eating area.

We have Dairy Bar in Chicago and North Charleston has Brusters. Great service and tasty ice cream. For anyone looking for some good old fashion ice cream, recommend this place. Your $ 3.59 will go a long way.

I don’t know what Brusters these other people are going to but we have been to this one about 10 times and it is the best ice cream in the low country. We live in Summerville and drive the 20 minutes because it is worth it. Graham Central Station is the most unique amazing flavor. Get it in a waffle cone and you will be in heaven. Remember Graham Central Station… the only flavor to get!

Mmmmm… the best ice cream selection. They have all seasonal limited flavors too. I go here every year to order my husbands birthday cake which is right around the corner. They also have different days like doggie day– bring your dog and they get special treat. Banana day is ½ off banana split if you bring your own banana.

Had the chocolate ice cream with chocolate fudge plus m & m’s. Gave me a bad tummy ache afterwards. Place was easy to find. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Being a former ice crème server, I experienced the joys one gets from holding a wet scoop and pressing it firmly into the curves of a bucket of hardened chocolate crème. However I am not sure that the youngsters who are working for the minimum(not living) wage at this Brusters know how this can moisten even the driest of lips, which became apparent by the youngsters desire to swab the deck instead of wait on overweight customers looking for that evening dose of pre-diabetes. The ice crème was pretty good except the white crème from the middle of the Oreo built up at the bottom and clogged my straw like a tampon.

5 stars because the flavor ice cream I had was AMAZING! It was called Nutty Coconut. It was coconut ice cream that was chock full of bits of coconut and chopped up toasted almonds. Yum. A serious win for his coconut lover! It wasn’t even on the menu but when I said I loved coconut, the owner quickly got me a sample. Also, get the waffle cone. They make them fresh every day and they taste like it. I will definitely come back next time we roll through N Charleston.

Our first visit here after my daughters swim meet. The team came here after a meet. They have military discounts. Their ice cream is good. I ordered a blizzard and shared it with my son. My husband had a chocolate chunk waffle cone. *super chocolate fix. The kids had a great time. It was 830pm(they closed at 9) and we had about 50 people in line for ice cream. Staff handled our large crowd well. We ate our ice cream out side in their seating area. Thursday is Banana day. ½ price on all banana split if you bring your own banana. thats like a $ 2.50 savings.

Bruster’s is always delicious and seems very clean. They have lots of flavors and options. The ice cream is a little pricey, yes, but they do coupons(join the email list) and have daily specials. It’s one of my favorites for ice cream. You can get waffle cones, sundaes, kids treats, and they also have some sorbets, yogurts, and no sugar added options. Gotta knock off one star for seating options. There are some benches in the shade, but the tables are concrete and do not have umbrellas. I really wish the tables had umbrellas for shade, and the concrete was super hot on a Charleston summer day.

Fantastic ice cream! They will let you sample as many flavors as you’d like and the staff was incredibly friendly. I tried 3 ice creams and they were all incredible. Ended up with the birthday cake ice cream. They also give a 10% discount for military and 15% for health care professionals :)

I have visited this place twice. The first time was okay. I stood in line forever, and funny thing is I was the only one in line. 0_o Kinda over priced for the amount you get too. The Second time I didn’t even order. Reasoning: Okay so Cookout just opened up right next door. And I had noticed Brusters was offering 10% off if you present your Cookout recipt. And since cookouts parking lot was full I decided to park at brusters. As soon as my friend and I got out of the car the owner/manager came to us and said we can’t park here if we are going to cookout its for brusters customers only. I stated well there is no sign the says we cant park here. I was pretty upset considering I was going to come to this chain after I got some lunch. But how he approched me totally turned me away from ever coming back. Not to mention while we where sitting in cookout we noticed the owner was having peoples cars towed ILLEAGALLY! Reason I say its illeagal is because they don’t have any signs posted about towing or that this parking lot is for brusters customers only. Not only that, but brusters is tech in Berkley County Zoning and all signs must be approved before posting and I think after the first car was towed they put up a sign but might i mention it never said«FORBRUSTERSCUSTOMERSONLY» I just find it funny you want to welcome cookout and offer a discount for its customers, but won’t allow them to park in your parking lot. You shouldn’t be so stingy! Remember the golden rule do on to others as you would want them to do to you. And Also remember Sharing is Caring. So in general, don’t waste your time with a bussiness who over prices their product and is extremly rude to potential customers! No wonder why their parking lot is always empty.
