Baja West Coast Kitchen

I absolutely love this place! Fresh food, fun beachy atmosphere and good average prices; however certain days have specials so that’s definitely a plus. Fish tacos are my favorite and not available everywhere so I’m happy to have Baja! The combinations on the menu are fun and unique so try this place for lunch or dinner. So yum and not heavy.

My favorite restaurant in the area. 2 can dine easily for 10 – 12 dollars and their food is portioned well, flavorful and healthy. Their rice bowls are a cut above chipotle and their brick fired pizzas hit the spot when you are looking for that taste. The mango salsa is great with hot chips right out of the frier. Highly recommend.

The concept of this place is really cool. They have a variety of pizzas, salads, and rice bowls you can put together. It’s nice because you have the option to get something super healthy or not at all. However, they messed up my family’s order and ran out of avocado when we went. The food itself was okay. Nothing to rave about, but good for a quick lunch. I would probably try this place again, but wasn’t blown away by it.

This place is awesome. Me and my lovely wife get there about once a month and never had bad service, food is always top notch and store front is very clean… I highly recommend if your looking for yummy… thanks gals and guys keep up the good work

Love the surfer atmosphere! I got the fried avacado taco, chicken taco and the bacon Gouda guacamole… It was all delicious! The only change I would make is adding tomatoes into the guac. I suggest trying Baja!

I was disappointed this time. They have a great menu, the flavors are wonderful but they don’t add enough meat to their wraps or pizza. The pizza was delicious but it needed more cheese, sauce, meat and veggies. We ordered a chicken breast and it was completely burnt. My wrap had 3 small pieces of steak. The bottom of the pizzas were also really burnt. Overall not a good experience this time around. This place has the potential of getting 5 stars but under new management.

The atmosphere is laid back and very west coast feel. Lines are long, but go quick. Good is fresh and excellent delicious!

Was a Baja virgin till tonight. My boyfriend brought a rice bowl for my lunch at work. I’m beyond impressed! Very fresh tasting. Rice was the perfect texture, shrimp was delicious and there was plenty of it!
I’ll be back (or at least my boyfriend will)

Straight forward, healthy, and quick. I would choose this over a Chipolte or Qudoba any day.

We made a last minute decision to come here when everything else around here had an hour wait on a Saturday night and I’m glad we did! First time here and the food was great! We had a variety of things. Several different pizzas, steak wraps, salsa and chips, freshly made guacamole… EVERYTHING WAS GREAT! The pizza dough was excellent. The chips were warm and the guacamole and salsa was fresh and tasty. I personally think the steak wraps KILL Chipotle wraps … My family said they thought they were equal. The staff was very friendly and the food was fast. Very casual dining and you get your own drinks. Will definitely be back!

First time here! How did I never come here? Maybe the location is a little hidden but this place is awesome. The concept, the food, the décor, everything! Mahatma Beach Pizza was awesome and Mahi Mahi Rice Bowl was great. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu out. Everything looks and sounds great. The taste matches the menu. Awesome. New favorite place

The atmosphere is really laid back. It definitely reminded me of home back on the west coast. I was somewhat skeptical at first when I read the reviews since I know how baja food is supposed to taste.
I was pleasantly surprised of how good the food is. I ordered the Shark Repelent Pizza, a salmon taco, and a shrimp taco and all were amazing! The employees were great and they made me feel welcomed. If I were a local I would frequent this place. Until then I will pass the word along to anyone who hasn’t tried this place and friends who plan on visiting the area.

Wow! What a great restaurant with amazing food! We had the great white pizza with no ricotta along with the walnut creek strawberry salad. By far one of the best pies I’ve had and the salad was so fresh. Can’t wait to go back.

I’m from Arizona and lived in California, so I’ve been looking for a place that serves yummy California-​style food here in Ohio. I may have found it!
We went last Wednesday for lunch and split the Great White Pizza and the Baja Chicken & Roasted Red Pepper Pizza. We also ordered two kinds of guacamole, the Goat Cheese with Sundried Tomato and the Smoked Gouda with Bacon.
Everything was delicious and fresh! I like a little kick to my food, so my favorites that day were the Baja Chicken & Roasted Red Pepper Pizza and the Goat Cheese with Sundried Tomato Guac.
I recommend this restaurant if you want fresh, California-​style food at a reasonable price.
I’m definitely going to try the tacos next time I’m in. I’ll update my review with info about the tacos, and hopefully some pics!

So good! Cool atmosphere. Friendly service. Great prices. Delicious food. My husband had the pizza and was very happy. He said it was the freshest pizza he’s had in a long time. Perfect crust and awesome cheese. I had 3 tacos: mahi mahi, salmon, and fried avocado. They were all excellent. Lots of fish on them. Got them as they were on the menu. Perfect toppings.

Celebrate Baja’s 3 year anniversary today only! $ 3 pizzas and $ 3 rice bowls. Name change, too! Baja Pizza is now Baja West Coast Kitchen.

Not only is the food great, but they have Cholula (my favorite hot sauce)! I had a fish taco, half a rice bowl (that was huge), and a slice of veggi goat cheese pizza. The only thing I would have changed was not getting avocado ranch sauce on my rice bowl (i’m not a big dressing person and there was a lot on there). They have $ 5 pizzas on mondays and $ 2 tacos on tuesdays. This is another place I would be at a lot if I had one near me.
I do wish they would have the music a little quieter though-​the songs were good but there was a speaker right above out table that made it difficult for us to hear each other.

Very good products and service. Everything was fresh. I had the salmon salad and nacho chips. My wife had a rice bowl. We were both satisfied and will come back.

Canton is FULL of chain restaurants, so if you are looking for a place to grab a great bite to eat but can’t stand the taste of chain restaurants check out this place. I’ll admit we waited a little bit longer then we should have to try this place so that is our only regret!
This place is so good they make guacamole fresh to order and you can customize your guac anyway you like which is awesome for guac fanatics like me! My husband and I had the baja shrimp tacos and they were awesome!

Yeah, its really good. I went for lunch and got the «double halvsies» which is basically just a pick 2 of a select half portion of a regular meal. I did this because the employee talked me into trying the pizza for the first time, but I really wanted a fish taco. Win-​win.
The cabo mahi mahi fish tacos were great. It had great fresh flavor, very light, and nice crunch from the cabbage. I would have preferred the mahi mahi to be cooked a bit more rare, but I didn’t ask for it that way so no judgement there.
The pizza really surprised me more than anything. I tried the BBQ chicken pizza because she claimed it was the best seller — sounds like a good place to start. The BBQ sauce was perfect for the pizza… nice and sweet with a ton of flavor. The chicken was average, but nothing wrong with it. The dough was phenomenal and for this reason i cannot wait to try more of the pizzas. Awesome house made dough that was perfectly chewy and just a bit of char on it. I am not sure if its «wood-​fired» dough, but it looks and tastes like it — I would say the dough was as good as any wood fired pizza in town, including the fancy ones.
Two fish tacos and a half a individual pizza for $ 10? Yes please. The quality of food here amazing for the price — if they sold alcohol I would probably just loiter around here all the time. Also, this place can certainly appeal to the healthy diners as well. If this place was 30 seconds closer to the «beaten path» it would be slammed everyday, no doubt.
