I ordered a cake from CHristine for my daughter’s first birthday this past Saturday and it was above and beyond my expectations. Christine was available at all hours of the day and night, no matter what time I emailed her she always got back to me right away. I have ordered cake from many other places and the only times you can contact them is your typical business hours. I sent a pic of what i had in mind and asked for a few changes and she said«leave it to me I know what to do». Our Minnie Mouse cake looked amazing. It was so beautiful people could not stop taking pictures of it. Then the taste test… OMG the cake was delicious!!! It is very rare that you buy a specialty cake that not only looks good but that tastes like heaven, and this cake was both. For the first time ever in one of my parties all the cake was gone in a matter of minutes. I have people calling me asking me for her information so they can order their next cake. Thank you Christine.

Fighting Cancer with Cake and Ice Cream I first used Christina nearly 4 years ago for my mothers 50th birthday party! Ever since, I have been using her for birthday parties, baby showers and any event I could think of that required a cake. Her work and professionalism speaks for itself(visit her website, read the articles). Throughout the past year, she has alot of negative feedback and comments… even from ppl I personally referred to her. I couldn’t understand why. Baking was her life, her passion, her one true love. Well today, she shared her story with the world. Stay Strong Christina and God Bless You! PS. The last cake she made for me was 12.2.12. All while she was struggling with cancer. Thank you for your dedication! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FIGHTINGCANCERWITHCAKEANDICING! by Christina Perriere Today my husband came home from work and so tenderly held my face in between his hands and kiss me, he wrapped his arms around me tight and said: «Hi baby, how was your day?». For a moment nothing else mattered, I felt happy, at peace and it has giving me the courage to come forward and share my story. Many of you have wondered why did the shop at the North Arlington location closed, where did we go? are we still in business? Well … here it goes … Last year around this time I started complaining about a sore throat. After visiting numerous doctors with no results I finally went to a ENT(ear, nose and throat specialist) that recommended me to go immediately to the hospital for some tests. To make a long story short, a biopsy was performed and on March 13th2012(how could I forget!) the results came back positive for squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck(cancer). BOOM … it was like a blurr, I couldn’t understand it. Like most of you, I was a healthy person. I was 37 years old, normal built, height and weight, I never smoked, I never did drugs, I liked to have a few beers at a cookout and a glass of wine with my husband, but otherwise did not drink. When I filled out my health insurance application, it was a looong series of no’s. No, I never had that disease, no I don’t have high blood pressure, no history of this and the other thing in my family. I was active and exercised. Fortunately, most of us are not accustomed to being faced with our own mortality and if I could go from that picture of health to stage 3 cancer without knowing it, it is not unreasonable to think that many of my friends, neighbors, colleagues and acquaintances, upon seeing for themselves the misery my disease brought to me, would start questioning just how healthy they were and wondering how they would know if their bodies were harboring a disease that might be out to kill them. Sparing some details(it’s still too painful to talk about it), I went thought 37 rounds of radiation and 3 round of chemotherapy. In the process I lost my sense of smell, my left hearing, taste and the ability to swallow. Through it all, spending time doing something that I love, designing and decorating cakes, making people happy with our creations, kept me busy and active, took me away from my own sad reality. Unfortunately, feeling so ill and unable to give proper attention to our costumers I was forced to temporarily close the shop and only take limited orders per week. Its been a long, hard road but, today I can say that my cancer is in remission! I regained my sense of smell, hearing and partial taste(hey, my hair is growing back to!). But, obviously, I could not have done this alone, Its always a joy to see the doctors and nurses who took such good care of me. I am thankful for the unbelievable support from my family, friends, neighbors and costumers. And to the most important person in my life, where all his support throughout this ordeal were beacons of strength for me. To the man who was and is invaluable to this whole process, my wonderful husband, Artur, my nurse, my doctor, lover, confidant … my best friend. Today I truly know I been blessed because I have you in my life. I love you.

Amazing cupcakes! Beautifully designed, packaged and presented. They really taste as good as they look! Very moist, and not too much sweet frosting… Just the right amount! And the designs of their cakes rival those on tv!

Great bakery for 5 star gourmet cakes for all occasions :-) I had a cake made here and it was superb. It was a two tier cake with a tier of red velvet and a guava filling, another tier with vanilla and hazelnut chocolate filling. It was delicious and I heard nothing but great reviews from the guests that it was served to.
